I had a wonderful stay at Hotel and I highly recommend it. The staff was extremely professional and courteous, always ready to assist with any requests. The room was beautifully decorated and meticulously maintained. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The hotel's restaurant offered a wide variety of delicious dishes, and the breakfast buffet was particularly impressive. The location was ideal, with stunning views of the city. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with Hotel and would gladly stay there again in the future

We booked a last minute trip to Köln and booked a 2 double room. We had to pay €200,00 deposit in cash. There was no other way to pay cash. After we got the money we only get the money back when we don’t smoke in one the rooms. After we arrived we went straight to a rave party and came back to sleep 4hours and check out before 12:00. So we did everything as they asked but the receptionist said that we smoked in our room because they allegedly found ashes on the balcony of the window. We didn’t even openend a window and we ran out of cigarettes. I smoked the last one in front of their hotel. They took pictures of the balcony and showed some ashes. The picture could have been from any other room cause they all look each other. So we didn’t get our money back they called the police on us. Police says they can’t do anything about it and that we have to file a complaint. When we asked to see the previous pictures of the room from the previous guests they say they don’t check it every time. So how can they be sure it wasn’t someone’s else previously.

The hotel is quite central in Cologne. It also has probably given the possibility to breakfast directly in the hotel the reservation. However, already at the arrival, this was shown at the reception before and after me, there were probably noise differences between the bookings of the arrival guests and the understanding that only the German-speaking lady had at the reception. My colleague has clearly ordered breakfast with, but he had to call it loudly next morning. I myself, I'm very much in hotels on the way I've experienced extremely rarely that staff always strongly before yesterday each other disputes about courses that should be practiced. My room itself was awaiting and probably had the flair of the 1980s. Electric cable simply sticked to the wall, hoping that they would not solve again. In general, I would not book this hotel anymore. What the reason staff and guests are constantly crying negative.

This is not an ideal hotel at all. I would not give it anymore than a poor rating. The outer front of the hotel is awful and actually looks like it's closed. Very uninviting! On walking in, I was ”met” (not greeted) by a female member of staff who was OK (she did offer some conversation).... but not the most welcoming of people. I was kept waiting initially while she fetched someone else. In the meantime, I filled in some forms and a rather grumpy and disheveled looking person arrived. He mentioned I had to pay a fee for something but it wasn''t really clear what it was for. I reluctantly paid as it was only 4 euros and I didn't really understand German - had it been anymore, I would might have been more inclined to argue. The room (I was in 107) was frankly reminiscent of something from the Bates Motel. Very old furniture. The room was hot (I had to open the window) and although there was a TV, adequate WIFI, cleans towels etc - the standard was just frankly horrendous. I saw a pube on the wall in the bathroom! For this next part (I take partial responsibility as I WAS warned) but after 10 there is no reception which means you have to take your two keys with you. Now I stupidly assumed it was because the front door would be locked after 10. The real reason is because the hotel room door itself locks behind you. I walked out of the hotel room as I went to see if I could find someone to lend me a fan and the door locked behind me. Without anyone in reception, I was stranded late at night in the corridor. I had to physically climb out of the window and LUCKILY I had left my own open due to the hot weather.... otherwise I don't know what I would have done. I did NOT have the breakfast. It was included in the price but frankly everything seemed so sub-standard that I didn't want to risk it. Honestly, I know you get what you pay for but this wasn't even worth that and I paid approximately £50.

This hotel should only be used as a bed to sleep in, and expect absolutely nothing more. I was here on business with 2 colleagues and everything was just ok. The people in the reception looked very bored and uninspired. The room was alright, the housekeeping a joke. To be fair, with 3 people living in a very small room the space to clean was minimal as we had to spread quite a bit, but I expected the trash bin to be emptied. The beds were alright and the AC excellent, which was good as the area around the hotel tend to be noisy as it is in the industrial part of town. There was a brief 10 minute walk to the s-bahn. Very few choices of food around the area. The breakfast, that they priced up from €7.50 to €10.50 from our booking to arrival is not worth the money, with a very bad selection and slow refill when there is a lot of people. The Frau managing the breakfast area was very agressive in asking for room number and barely understood any English making it very awkward. If you are a smoker, then the smoking area outside does not have any place to sit. Unless there is no other available places to stay, I will not come back to this hotel.

Very close to the central train station. I arrived early and wanted to store my luggage. I was not yet in time to check in, but I was given a room with a view of the cathedral. I was so lucky. The guys and girls at the front desk spoke good English and were helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable. Free sparkling water was provided, which is rare in European hotels. I was impressed by the trip to Cologne and it is worth staying.

Definitely one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in and the best hotel from Accor Hotels. I had accidentally booked the wrong dates for my stay. As soon as I realised it, I contacted the hotel. The staff helped me to change my reservation dates. While on my trip, due to the strikes in France and problems with the train connections I had to postpone my meeting online. I sent an email to request to check in early since I will be having my meeting at 1 p.m. Ms Wulff made the necessary arrangements prior to my arrival. On my arrival I was able to check in early and able to proceed with my online meeting. Without her help I would not be able to conduct my meeting. On the next day, I had another online meeting. Her colleague made the necessary arrangements so that the housekeeping team could get the room cleaned before lunch and my next online appointment. Till date I have stayed in a number of hotels from the Accor Hotels group. In comparison to M Gallery am Konzerthaus in Wien, Hotel Mondial am Dom in Cologne exceeds my expectations. Professionalism The staff at the reception were not only friendly and good at what they are doing, they are also willing to help and went an extra mile to make things possible. I would not have been able to get my work done if they did not help me. Even when checking out, the staff was professional and showed interest to assist customers whenever they dan. Splendid Location Situation a few minutes walk from the train station and the main city area, is this hotel definite one of the most strategic location in Cologne. View of the Cathedral I managed to get a glimpse of the cathedral from my room. Dinner I had dinner at the hotel restaurant. It was not only affordable, the service was impeccable. The waiter even suggested where I could sit so that I can get the best view of the area. Awesome! I would like to thank the remarkable staff for making my stay in Köln memorable und unforgettable. Ich habe bei der Buchung das falsche Datum eingegeben und musste meine Buchung ändern. Die Mitarbeiterin. hat mir geholfen meine Buchung zu ändern. Wegen Streiks und Probleme mit Deutsch Bahn musste ich meine Termine verschieben. Ich habe das Hotel gefragt ob ich früher einchecken kann um mein Termin online wahr zu nehmen. Frau Wullf hat alles für mich arrangiert damit ich meinen Termin online fortsetzen kann. Am nächsten Tag habe ich auch einen Termin online. Der Kollege von Frau Wulff hat mit dem Housekeeping-Team koordiniert damit das Zimmer von 13 Uhr fertig gereinigt ist. Dadurch könnte ich meinen Termin um 14 Uhr wahrnehmen. In diesem Hotel sind die Mitarbeiter:innen nicht nur freundlich sondern auch hilfsbereit. Diese Motivation ist leider eine Seltenheit auch bei den Luxus-Marken von Accor. Loved my stay at this hotel - Not super luxury, but perfect for a short stay. Excellent rooms, wifi and shower) all you need) and the boxed breakfast was exceeding expectations of everyone in our group. Would definitely recommend On a sidenote, only went to the roof Terras at night, but brilliant views

The hotel is in a great location, right by the central station and in easy walking distance from many of the attractions around Köln. The front desk staff were very friendly and made check in a quick and easy process. The room smelt strongly of stale cigarettes when I checked in, even though it was marked a nonsmoking room. One of the duvets on the bed was dirty with caked on smudges that obviously hadn't been laundered since the previous guest. Fortunately the bed has two duvets so I could use the second one which was clean. Check out was listed as 12pm, but on the day of checkout a cleaner entered my room before 9am and rudely told me to leave immediately. I tried speaking to her in German and English to tell her I still had hours available in the room and she wouldn't respond so I felt forced to pack up and leave while she waited. This is a budget friendly hotel in a good location, and none of these issues are dealbreakers on their own. I probably wouldn't return to stay because the experience combined was quite negative.

Our honeymoon trip took us here for the first night. We wanted to stop in Cologne to see some sights the next morning, This was a perfect location just off the motorway, and only 20 minutes back in to Cologne. When we arrived, the staff member that saw us in was pleasant, satisfactory English, but seemed to lack any personality, like she was bored. The restaurant in the hotel was closed when we arrived, when we queried this, we were told its a breakfast only facility. I asked for some recommendations for the local area to get some dinner, I was handed an A4 sheet with multiple eateries. My Wife and I like to read some reviews before going, and found only a couple out of the whole list was on Google or Trip Advisor, so not the most helpful. OK if your not bothered though. Dimitri Grill up the road, about 20 minute walk, I highly recommend this place! (Reviewed separately) The room was pleasant, odd shape, clean and comfortable. It had a safe, sofa and chairs, bed was hard, which was nice. The shower was amazing, could have stayed in there all day. The room however was only made up for one person, we had to call down to get more bedding and towels. These turned out to be single duvets only. The hotel don't stock double or king, only singles. There was a coffee and tea facilities however the kettle is only useable under the wall mounted TV, so the steam and heat goes in to the TV, the coffee was not nice at all, and again was only made up to be enough for one. Car park was odd, its free to get in with a barrier that goes up automatically when you move towards it, however to get you need a token from reception to leave. The staff did remind us of this, however there was no check on if we were guests or not. If your a light sleeper due to light, take an eye mask as the curtains are as thin as cotton. If your looking for a pamper, or some fluffy stuff, this is not the hotel. This is purely a business hotel, or a bed and go kind of hotel.
