Hotel Garni Geisler

Chandeliers from the 1980s hang in the rooms, and the bathrooms are also from this period. The toilets are available in brown or green, just like my grandmother's. Even during trade fairs I didn't find the price of over €174 per night reasonable, especially as we had booked almost a year in advance. The fact that room service wasn't even done didn't make things any better. The next day the old towels lay untouched on the floor, the beds were not made. I don't understand why this hotel still gets good reviews here. The breakfast was OK, but no more. Also the reserved in the 80-year-old antique restaurant. It goes without saying that there is no air conditioning.

We have from 02.07. to 03.07.2022 as part of the Iron Maiden concert at Garni Geisler. We were very happy that we had found an affordable hotel with a convenient connection to the KVB network at such short notice. It was a comfortable 10 minute walk to the S-Bahn station. The house makes an overall well-kept impression, but could urgently use an update in the context of the technical building equipment: the stairwell lighting is on consistently in broad daylight (presence detectors or daylight control could solve this). Toilet flushing without a water-saving button allows a full 9 liters to flow into the sewer, even with a small business. The lawn area in the outdoor area could be opened up by means of a narrow strip of paving at the level of the second passage to the dining room. The guests were always clapping on the lawn here, and as a facility manager I would ask myself not to maintain these areas permanently and avoidably. The service and the friendliness of the staff were perfect and we had a delicious breakfast. Many Thanks. We would not hesitate to return to this hotel for future concert events.

Da ich schon mehrere Jahre Gast im Hotel Geissler bin, denke ich ,dass ich mir ein Urteil erlauben kann. Ich fühle mich hier immer sehr gut aufgehoben, da ich bei Fragen oder auch eventuellen Wünschen immer ein offenes Ohr finde. Die Räumlichkeiten sind sehr großzügig ausgelegt. Sie finden genug Platz für ihre Ausrüstung. Die Sauberkeit sowie ein hervorragendes WLAN machen für mich den Aufenthalt perfekt. Ich kann dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.👌👍👌👍
