The price you displayed on the trip has nothing to do with what we paid. I attach the bill, you should stop taking people wrong.

Hotel in a small town near Cologne is in Freshan. Go from Cologne for about 40 minutes. To the hotel, too, go decent from the stop, as it is not in the center of Frechen, but on the outskirts. Nearby - no shops or cafes. The hotel itself is extremely modest, well just ascetic. What rooms there!! Not that there is nothing extra, and there is not even the most necessary - a mini-fridge, for example, and after all it is needed, especially in the summer! The room itself - super tiny, metres 8 maximum, one person just nowhere to turn, I'm already silent about two! The suitcase put nowhere! But what we just shaken is the shower cabin right in the room! The toilet is separate, and the shower is fitted just in the middle of the room, and the entrance to the shower immediately from the room, that is, to go there and go out there it is necessary already without clothes! The door there is glass, to change there just nowhere, there is no place even towel to hang! I have not seen such an uncomfortable decision anywhere! If you are not a couple, but just friends or colleagues, it is impossible! You can take a shower only if your friend/collection goes out of the room at all and will wait in the corridor. The washing machine is in the room, just a step from the bed. Breakfast is worth 8 euros per person and simply no - neither eggs, nor omlet, nothing hot. Just tea-coffee, a modest cut of one kind of cheese and sausage, yoghurt and milk with chips. All.

Perfect home , very well located just next to a gate and near a service station, parking which takes the tour of the hotel, lift, presentation of the QR code vaccination certificate, The room 425 is larger than in France but the smaller bathroom! who is the architect? the glass door of the shower that opens and comes to shot on the lavabo and therefore impossible for those who are big to go back into the shower even through !!! This is not an ideal hotel at all. I would not give it anymore than a poor rating. The outer front of the hotel is awful and actually looks like it's closed. Very uninviting! On walking in, I was ”met” (not greeted) by a female member of staff who was OK (she did offer some conversation).... but not the most welcoming of people. I was kept waiting initially while she fetched someone else. In the meantime, I filled in some forms and a rather grumpy and disheveled looking person arrived. He mentioned I had to pay a fee for something but it wasn''t really clear what it was for. I reluctantly paid as it was only 4 euros and I didn't really understand German - had it been anymore, I would might have been more inclined to argue. The room (I was in 107) was frankly reminiscent of something from the Bates Motel. Very old furniture. The room was hot (I had to open the window) and although there was a TV, adequate WIFI, cleans towels etc - the standard was just frankly horrendous. I saw a pube on the wall in the bathroom! For this next part (I take partial responsibility as I WAS warned) but after 10 there is no reception which means you have to take your two keys with you. Now I stupidly assumed it was because the front door would be locked after 10. The real reason is because the hotel room door itself locks behind you. I walked out of the hotel room as I went to see if I could find someone to lend me a fan and the door locked behind me. Without anyone in reception, I was stranded late at night in the corridor. I had to physically climb out of the window and LUCKILY I had left my own open due to the hot weather.... otherwise I don't know what I would have done. I did NOT have the breakfast. It was included in the price but frankly everything seemed so sub-standard that I didn't want to risk it. Honestly, I know you get what you pay for but this wasn't even worth that and I paid approximately £50.

The hotel is an easy walk (just a few minutes) from the railway station. It is about two minutes walk to the cathedral which you can see (and hear) from the hotel: the bells chime quite loudly at about 08:00 am and other times. Rooms are a decent size and the beds are very comfortable. It is clean and in the room there is a safe, tv, bathroom with a shower (that oddly has no shower curtain or screen - the floor gets quite wet). Breakfast is good and includes the normal range of hot and cold foods from croissants, toast, bacon, egg, sausage, buns, cereals, hams, salamis, cheeses, coffee, tea, hot water and some really very nice fruit juices (some of the nicest I have tasted in a hotel). The staff in the dining area were really pleasant and friendly. The reception staff were a little more varied but polite and efficient enough. Outside the hotel doesn't look that much but it is generally pleasant and a great base inside. Next door are some convenience store types of shops and a kebab house that I tried and it was exactly the same as back home. McDonalds is just across the road, if that is your thing. We walked to all of the Christmas markets (where we did most of our eating) and around the city centre and down to the Rhine. All are in easy walking distance. There is a bag room where you can leave your bags upon checkout and come back for them later. The security of that was a little lax as people just walked in from the street and took their bags. I went to the reception and told them I was taking mine and the lady looked as if to say, ”ok fine.” No checks. There is also little checking of people walking in from the street and just going upstairs but the doors on the rooms were pretty secure. The lighting is not great in the room and the lights around the hotel are seemingly hanging from their connections. Overall it was a great base from which to explore the city and get to and from. good night's sleep - despite the bells and a good breakfast. I would stay again for a short break in the city.

The hotel is quite central in Cologne. It also has probably given the possibility to breakfast directly in the hotel the reservation. However, already at the arrival, this was shown at the reception before and after me, there were probably noise differences between the bookings of the arrival guests and the understanding that only the German-speaking lady had at the reception. My colleague has clearly ordered breakfast with, but he had to call it loudly next morning. I myself, I'm very much in hotels on the way I've experienced extremely rarely that staff always strongly before yesterday each other disputes about courses that should be practiced. My room itself was awaiting and probably had the flair of the 1980s. Electric cable simply sticked to the wall, hoping that they would not solve again. In general, I would not book this hotel anymore. What the reason staff and guests are constantly crying negative.

I have stayed in mercure hotels in over 5 countries and many cities. They are the best. Beds were comfortable and huge rooms. Great service. Location was great with many great local restaurants nearby. Just next to the metro. Super stay! Danke Schone!

The Courtyard Marriott of Cologne was clean, beautiful and a great location. It was a short walk to the Central train Station and near all the sights of Cologne. I was only there for one night and did not get to experience the breakfast as we checked out before it was served, but they did provide me with a lunch box which included a ham and cheese sandwich, a banana and a water. There is coffee and boxed water 24 hours a day in the lobby. The beds were super comfortable and the temperature of the room was ideal, as we had control over the air conditioner, whereas other hotels we stayed in the same week, did not allow us control and we were very warm. The room we had was a nice size and the view was of the empty courtyard which was extrememly quiet and definitely highly desirable. Front staff upon checking in, was not friendly, however after check in everyone else we came in contact with was very friendly. I didn't get the ladies name at the front desk, but she definitely didn't give us a positive welcome. Glad her shift ended and everyone else we dealt with, and passed was extremely friendly and that is what the experience should be like.

Definitely one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in and the best hotel from Accor Hotels. I had accidentally booked the wrong dates for my stay. As soon as I realised it, I contacted the hotel. The staff helped me to change my reservation dates. While on my trip, due to the strikes in France and problems with the train connections I had to postpone my meeting online. I sent an email to request to check in early since I will be having my meeting at 1 p.m. Ms Wulff made the necessary arrangements prior to my arrival. On my arrival I was able to check in early and able to proceed with my online meeting. Without her help I would not be able to conduct my meeting. On the next day, I had another online meeting. Her colleague made the necessary arrangements so that the housekeeping team could get the room cleaned before lunch and my next online appointment. Till date I have stayed in a number of hotels from the Accor Hotels group. In comparison to M Gallery am Konzerthaus in Wien, Hotel Mondial am Dom in Cologne exceeds my expectations. Professionalism The staff at the reception were not only friendly and good at what they are doing, they are also willing to help and went an extra mile to make things possible. I would not have been able to get my work done if they did not help me. Even when checking out, the staff was professional and showed interest to assist customers whenever they dan. Splendid Location Situation a few minutes walk from the train station and the main city area, is this hotel definite one of the most strategic location in Cologne. View of the Cathedral I managed to get a glimpse of the cathedral from my room. Dinner I had dinner at the hotel restaurant. It was not only affordable, the service was impeccable. The waiter even suggested where I could sit so that I can get the best view of the area. Awesome! I would like to thank the remarkable staff for making my stay in Köln memorable und unforgettable. Ich habe bei der Buchung das falsche Datum eingegeben und musste meine Buchung ändern. Die Mitarbeiterin. hat mir geholfen meine Buchung zu ändern. Wegen Streiks und Probleme mit Deutsch Bahn musste ich meine Termine verschieben. Ich habe das Hotel gefragt ob ich früher einchecken kann um mein Termin online wahr zu nehmen. Frau Wullf hat alles für mich arrangiert damit ich meinen Termin online fortsetzen kann. Am nächsten Tag habe ich auch einen Termin online. Der Kollege von Frau Wulff hat mit dem Housekeeping-Team koordiniert damit das Zimmer von 13 Uhr fertig gereinigt ist. Dadurch könnte ich meinen Termin um 14 Uhr wahrnehmen. In diesem Hotel sind die Mitarbeiter:innen nicht nur freundlich sondern auch hilfsbereit. Diese Motivation ist leider eine Seltenheit auch bei den Luxus-Marken von Accor. We stayed in the hotel as a family with 7 years old child without any problem. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel so we have no idea about restaurant. Employees are kind and doing their best. Very good location. You can walk all the touristic places. We went to Cologne on December and it was cold. Whenever we felt cold, we turned to hotel for rest in 5-10 minutes. The best christmas market (Heumarkt) is near the hotel and you can use public transport in front of the hotel (if you need). Walk distance to the Dom Cathedral, Love Bridge, Chocolate Museum, Shildergrasse and all the christmas markets.
