It was our first stay at this hotel. We were at a concert at the ”Palladium” and this hotel was within walking distance. Daniel (a hotel employee) gave us a very friendly ”welcome” and was able to give us good tips for our stay. A small plant called ”Annemie” was our 'sleepover buddy' and served a good purpose for nature and the environment.

Hotel location is very good, from Cologne Cathedral, about 10 minutes walk from Cologne Central Railway Station, many restaurants downstairs, walking distance to the nearby shopping center, the bathroom is small, but very clean, just the shower area is small People who are overweight may not turn well, breakfast is rich, there is no problem to eat, the overall price is not bad.

The hotel's hygiene, facilities and services are all acceptable. But its location is great! The transportation is very convenient. It's just a few steps to the pedestrian street. There is a supermarket REWE, a bank, many restaurants, and a Chinese fast food restaurant next to it. Unfortunately, it was Carnival, and many restaurants were closed. The Chinese fast food restaurant was also closed for a break. It is said that their roast duck is delicious and cheap.

We were here for a city break, the area is up and coming with plenty of building work going on but not disruptive. It's next to the smaller train station but has direct access to the airport, the main arena is nearby as well as the conference center. Hotel itself was clean and well designed, we had a small kitchenette in the room which was a bonus.
