Unfortunately, I was unable to stay at this hotel because the receptionist could not find a reservation. As a qualified hotel and tourism management specialist, I can therefore only report my experiences of the first impression and the "service", if you can call it that, of the front office team. When I wanted to check in and was told that there was no booking, I explained to the receptionist that the booking had been made at very short notice and that there was perhaps no reservation in the hotel system, so I presented the voucher from which the booking was shown in Turkish. I then received the answer that the hotel did not work with trip.com. As my cell phone battery was empty, I asked the hotel staff to call them and clarify the matter. The receptionist was apparently not interested in that. In the end, I was asked to leave the hotel because there was apparently no reservation. In addition to the generally rather dingy first impression, the incompetence of the hotel staff is particularly striking. Customer care or service management has never been heard of in this hotel. I have personally helped several hotel professionals pass their exams as a trainer in the hotel or as a university lecturer in hotel and tourism management... so I would like to rate the hotel's services as inadequate or more than inadequate. I had to find another hotel for that night and had additional costs for the transfer. It would be better not to let such staff loose on the guest, because they have never heard of hospitality or the so-called spirit of hospitality. I think it's a shame that such people even work in my industry and thus contribute to damaging the reputation and image of the entire hotel industry. If you have some experience and speak several languages, it may be easy to resolve the situation and find alternative accommodation, but what does a grandmother traveling alone do if she is thrown out of a hotel in a foreign country and doesn't speak the language? I wouldn't recommend anyone to book here. Even if it is a cheap three-star hotel, the service you receive is worth zero stars. In the hotel industry, businesses differentiate themselves mainly through their staff or personal hotel service... this hotel has more than missed this opportunity. For the same price, you can find much better hotels locally that also have friendly staff. M. Sölter

This is the worst holiday my children and I have EVER been on. Flight, OK, transfer perfect, hotel well I don't think nergos garden hotel should be allowed to trade, its diabolical. The photos on line are polar opposite to the actual appearance of the place. The building is run down and looks like someone has gone in blindfolded to paint everything. There are cracks in the stairs. The windows and doors don't close properly. More than half of the light bulbs are missing in the hallways so you have to walk upstairs in the dark! There is also limited lighting around the pool after dark. The children's play area is a death trap and looks like something from a horror show. The path to the shop is a law suit waiting to happen, not to mention all the rubbish the shop have discarded out the back which is next to the children's play area! There little or no maintenance/up keep of the property or grass area. The hotel shows you pictures of 2 pools when there is only 1. The slide is on operational twice a day for half an hour 10.30am and 2.30pm and there is NO entertainment, NO kids Club, No dartboard, NO pool TABLE, NO gym, NO atmosphere and NO fun. The staff are rude and not helpful. On day three I had medication stolen from my room and the receptionist did NOTHING. I lost my bank card and had to cancel it while on holiday and the receptionist did nothing but laugh! Which brings me to the food and drinks. We were all inclusive, however, you could only get a drink from the bar from 11am until 11pm, before 11am you had to go in to the restaurant (if you can call it that) and only sugar loaded juice were available until 9.30am. You then had to wait for an hour and a half before you could get a soft drink. There was a choice of three spirits which were watered down and the beer had no name. There was no option to even by any other drink! The food was truly not fit for consumption and we ate out every night. There were no labels on the food and it was the same slop every mealtime Inc breakfast. The "snack bar" consisted of 4 small plates of Turkish biscuits and once they were gone there were no more. Like I said this was undoubtedly the holiday from hell and barely a 1 star let alone the 4 stars that love holidays give it. I sincerely hope that reading this review will stop others from making the same mistake we did. I could say so much more but the photos will speak for themselves.

WELL where do I start. I arrived at this hotel at 3 am after being delayed and 18 hours travel from start to finish. No welcome in arrival the staff speak very very little English, nothing was explained to me band in my wrist key given (yep a KEY) and shown to my room. My room was very nice quite large for single occupancy. My room was not cleaned everyday, sheets not changed all week I started with 4 towels 2 large and 2 small by the end of the week I had one large towel left which hadn’t been changed all week. No bottled water in hotel just water coolers that everyone filled their empty bottle up with. The pool bar opened at 11 am even tho it was busy from 8 am. Pool area ok but only 20 sunbeds and people putting their towels down from early morning and not turning up until middle of the afternoon. No indication as to where to get beach towel from so take your own they got shirts when people were using their towels from their rooms. Sunbeds really uncomfortable didn’t see staff checking the pool once during my stay. The food was awful breakfast consisted of carbs, bread rolls cereal or ham cheese salad typical Eastern European breakfast we even had chips one morning… who eats chips for breakfast? Lunch and dinner no better very very poor indeed and I’m not a fussy eater no childrens menu lots of guests just eating bread or going out for food which you don’t expect for all inclusive. The beach is about a 19 minute walk from the hotel or if you’re feeling lazy you can get the shuttle bus. The beach is very nice but very busy plenty of uncomfortable sunbeds too far away from the water so you have to run very fast over the boiling sand to reach it. The beach bar can not really be called a beach bar it’s more of a shack the food for lunch consisted of a plate of olives and a pancake like thing with a choice of filling that the lady made on her hot plate The staff at this hotel are quite rude and cannot speak English i met a couple of people that had things taken from their room, money and tablets when they complained to management they just laughed. There were a couple of incidents that were quite worrying a young child slipped round the pool and split her head open not one of the staff went to help it was the guests around the pool that helped with this situation, another time an English girl arrived at the hotel at night and the staff member that showed her to her room told her he would show her the beach once down on the beach he dropped his shorts and started waving around what his mama gave him when the person complained to management they didn’t want to know the rep did nothing to help her she was travelling on her own and just thought the guy was being friendly as he was staff The hotel is run down needs sorting out could be a lovely little hotel it is definitely not a 4 star hotel I would never come back to this hotel and if you are thinking of visiting DONT honestly go somewhere else

Our experience at Nergos Garden Hotel in Side, Antalya Turkey: Upon arrival, we immediately saw that the hotel was not at all the same as in the photos. The lobby also looked very dirty and there were flies all around. Staff spoke almost no english. Upon entering, we were immediately looked at from head to toe by both guests and staff. And then I don't even dare to mention the room. Our room was very filthy, it was about to collapse. The bedding was stained with dirty spots and a blanket in the closet was covered in white spots and hair. Dust everywhere above the bed, on the TV (which by the way comes from the war time, it is so small. Not quite a black and white picture) air conditioning hanging on the wall was leaking water. The bathroom was even worse. Dirty tiles on some pieces there was even mold. Totally not clean. Bleach in the water from the tap, because of this we have a number of bleach stains in our clothes. The same buffet every day, no inspiration. Lots of leftovers and not fresh at all. An all inclusive is what you expect but you get drinks from small plastic cups and you have a choice of 4 drinks. Breakfast consists only of egg, egg and egg. Staff in the “restaurant” are like stalkers waiting next to your table until they can take your plate away. You can't even eat in peace. You have to beg for a few toilet rolls, housekeeping doesn't do its job well either. With difficulty you get clean towels and the bed was not changed all the days. The floor was "cleaned" with a filthy swiffer and that was it. The bed was not changed until the day of departure. DO NOT BOOK HERE!!!!!!! YOU’RE GONNA REGRET IT

I’ve seen a lot of really bad reviews on here about this hotel. Which surprised me because I don’t know what people expected? We booked this hotel about a month ago for a week (9th-16th). 4 of us went and we payed about £300 for a week between all of us. One of the cheapest places I’ve ever stayed at, so we fully expected the quality to be below average. The food is fab as long as you’re not eating meat. The beach is fantastic, nice loungers and clean. the hotel room could do with more regular cleaning tbh, we had to ask for towels and loo roll a couple times. Drink are standard but can’t have alcoholic ones at the beach, just the pool area. Wifi is hit and miss but you can pay £1 a day and it’ll work ight. If you’re going just for the hotel experience don’t bother. But if you’re going for a cheap holiday to explore the area then it’s a great base camp!

the hotel Nergos Garden was a horrible, very dirty, very stinky, no sheet on the bed , dirty towel , and the more surprise was for the sink where we wash the face and the hands, the water was literary white and with sand from the beach this was unbelieve!!! no cleat at all, same dirty plates and cups on the corridor for 4 days... awful. i have mo0re and more complains about the broken things and dirty aera.. but just for the future customer this is not at 4 star hotel, even 3 or 2. The only thing was ok, are the customer service for worker, there was friendly and attend, only three speak in English but they are a friendly staff.

Turned up at 2am due to flight delays. Worst ever traumatic experience in my entire life, food was stone cold, woman reception had attitude when we asked about changing rooms as it was meant to be a twin but the room was so small we couldn’t separate the beds other than have it as a double, dirty sheets on arrival, £10 for a week internet that hardly works, no lift, I typically think you can’t go wrong making salad or chips and believe me today I was wrong, the salad was limp, chips were re-heated from the night before…..🤢 Beach bar was lower than average, the bar & drink area was dirty. Thankfully after showing my partner what squalor we were put in he booked us a twin room in a hotel. 10 hours in that hotel was 10hours too long, Please if you have a basic standard and happy to stay at most places don’t stay here because you will be traumatised. Iv back packed holidayed and stayed in places 10 times better, cleaner than this s*** hole
