The only negative was how tight the parking space was for our vehicle but we understand it was because of the older design of the carpark

Great location. Very spacious

Firstly, there are a number of pluses to the apartments: they are spacious, close proximity to the beach, on-site carparking. But…….. We arrived at our apartment and were immediately met with a dated interior and a lot of signs advising us that rubbish must be emptied on leaving the unit otherwise a charge will be made to our credit card. All crockery and cutlery must be washed and placed in its original place upon leaving……all these signs were a bit meh. Pity this wasn’t something the management checked up on as there were several dirty cups, plates and cutlery in the apartment so we washed up what we planned on using for the days we were there. The drawers in the kitchen needed emptying and cleaning. The level of cleanliness in the unit is average at best. The apartment is well-appointed in that it contains a good kitchen, spacious lounge, washer and dryer. But there were items of furniture that now are definitely past their use-by date and should be replaced. The red leather couch for instance, you sit and your knees immediately meet your chin. The springs have gone on that. The chairs at the dining table have lost their spring and you sit in a hole on a number of them. The bathroom is totally outdated, water-damaged and needs to be replaced. Then we get to the bedroom. You only get one pillow each. The bed had a green blanket on the top. This blanket was filthy. There were very noticeable stains on the blanket and it was most off-putting that this had not been picked up when the linen had been changed for our arrival. We put the blanket on the floor but seeing as there were no other blankets in the apartment it meant we had a very cold night. My husband took it downstairs to management the next morning and asked for a new blanket. There was surprise from management and they said they would sort it for us and place a clean blanket in our room. We went out for the day and returned to find another blanket on the bed that was also dirty and contained stains. Again my husband went down to management and was met with the excuse that our original blanket was not dry yet so they had taken a blanket out of another apartment! Good grief don’t you have a supply of clean linen on site? On the last night of our stay my husband had got up in the night and upon coming back to bed had inadvertently got between the bottom sheet and the mattress protector. Morning came and we were packing to leave. I pulled the sheets back to remove the bedding and to my horror the state of the mattress protector was filthy. The stains were large and some contained what looked like blood. I was shocked that we had been lying on these stains under the sheet for the whole of our stay. This is totally unacceptable and can only be described as a disgusting level of housekeeping. Management needs to take a long, hard look at their housekeeping standards. Sadly, we won’t ever be staying at Tradewinds again.

Booked a 3 bedroom apartment mainly for the space but because we were a couple, only 2 bedrooms were opened. Third bedroom locked. Would have saved money and just paid for a 2 bedroom unit. Apartment is tired - main bedroom, door venetian blind exit to balcony, falling to pieces, one side bed lamp. We moved a lamp to give us more light. Main living area , the floor is sloping and quite obvious so had to be aware when moving around the lounges. Balcony at front railing has been reconstructed as old concrete degrading. Ground floor parking (free) but tight. However, location and views excellent.

Spacious apartment, we had unit 3, ground floor, beds comfortable. Carpark in the basement is a challenge with limited manoeuvring capability, we drive a Tuscon, was a tight fit. Lift to the apartment & if you ask the manager there is a trolley he can provide to help move in your gear. Apartment was well set out, room to move, nice balcony but get rid of the broken chairs. Make sure you take your rubbish out before you leave. Pub across the road a bit noisy, food not that good, didn't try the Bowls Club ? a better meal. Bathroom ok, shower water pressure dismal. Make sure you bring all your own toiletries etc as none provided except motel size soap in bathroom. For what we paid was ok, old adage you get what U pay for. Managers helpful but we didn't appreciate the dog hanging around.

Fully self contained apartments overlooking the beach Rob the manager took great care of us advised us of the awesome pub across the road. What a great place for a weekend away with mates or families
