First experience in a "hostel" and this was much nicer than I imagined. From the very beginning, you check in with Alejandra who welcomes you with open arms. I had a private room which was wonderful for $100 a night... included a very nice walkin shower and AC. I stayed 4 nights. Food and service wonderful. At the bar / restaurant, Leandro and Selena are always eager to help. Absolutely love them. I'm 36 and didn't think hostels were for me, but this one was generally quiet and the management really cares how your stay is going. Feels like home. Can't wait to come back next May!

When my good friend and local top Chef Andrew Bacon says "Linc, you have to meet us at Playa 506 for apps and drinks? I LISTEN. And he's never wrong; he's steered me to some of the greatest little places in Limon Province and San Jose, and he hasn't been wrong yet! Great time, great service, awesome ambience. I can't tell you enough how nice of a place this is to pop in.

We used their transportation services from the airport to Punta Uva and they know how to scam you with prices. Please note that rides that are that distance (about 5 hours) should be between $220-240 and they charged us $335. Always research before. I don’t recommend.

I Love This place. The food and drinks are very Good, the location is perfect with the beach and a lot of places to sit. Also the waitress are really nice here. I would really recomment visiting playa 506.

great spot to meet people and enjoy the costa rican vibe. right next to the beach with an outdoor shower. restaurant and bar only two steps away from where you sleep. they have a nice kitchen and lots of places to keep your stuff. i would most definitely come back here

Almost as good a 4 star hotel. Direct access to the beach includes a restaurant/bar but also a common kitchen so you can eat out or cook yourself l. The rooms are clean and have air conditioning as well as towels and blankets if you get cold. Loved it

Very comfortable bed and resident sloth! Very convenient right on the beach with great facilities. The beach on either side of the hostel is great for surfing and seeing wildlife. Has a lovely social atmosphere
