"We booked the hotel without having high expectations and we were extremely well surprised. The location is very good of course. The staff very professional and welcoming. And I think the biggest surprise was the facilities for the kids: all what kids can dream of in a such condensed place: pool, slides, sandboxes, kids club and even a mini zoo. Most of the activities are free of charge and other are at a very reasonable price just to support the staff I think.
Also, we made very nice friends there as many conferences and events are run.
It is a very convenient place to have a break inside the city especially for families with young kids."

"Hotel room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good with a wide variety of options. Hotel also served complimentary drink and snacks at the lobby in the afternoon. Nice gesture :)

"Suited for local big families with unpolished behaviour at breakfast with feet on the chair and food waste scattered on the floor with kids playing loudly by the pool which looked like a big mess. Very old hotel. Rooms are bigger than usual which is plus. Some travellers may not feel comfortable with this setting for a relaxed resort."

"Awalnya aku agak ragu untuk booking di sini, tapi Patra Hotel Bandung beneran bikin cukup puas!!!Meskipun ukurannya kecil dan fasilitasnya terbatas, ternyata nyaman juga buat staycation.
Yang paling berkesan itu kolam renangnya, apalagi ada bagian yang airnya hangat—sempurna buat weekend santai. Sayangnya, gymnya agak memprihatinkan, cuma ada 2 treadmill tua dan 1 sepeda, itupun di ruangan terbuka tanpa AC. Kalau mau olahraga, mungkin lebih baik jalan-jalan di sekitar Bandung aja, haha.
Kamarnya standar, agak berbau kamar lama, tapi mereka nyediain air purifier yang membantu banget. Amenities-nya sederhana banget, cuma ada shampoo dan sabun kecil. Tapi yang bikin betah itu sarapannya! Enak-enak,. Cuma ada satu stand yang agak aneh (gudeg dan nasi liwet) itu rata-rata semua lauk asin banget."

Many thanks to all the staff at Neo Hotel for their excellent hospitality and warm friendliness. I booked 8 rooms during our stay, and all of them were clean and well-maintained daily. What I appreciated most was that the rooms felt new, were very spacious, and offered a beautiful city view. The Wi-Fi was stable throughout our stay, and the breakfast menu changed daily, which kept things fresh and interesting. The hotel is also in a strategic location, surrounded by many cafés and restaurants. There’s a small swimming pool on the third floor along with a rooftop-style bar, which adds a nice touch to the overall experience."

AAmirulShafiqI stayed at Shakti Capsule Cihampelas in Bandung from May 11 to May 14, 2025. It was a great choice for my stay in the city.
The location is excellent — right in the heart of Cihampelas, close to shops, food stalls, and attractions. I also rented a motorbike from RMB - Rental Motor Bandung, which made getting around even easier.
The capsules were clean, cozy, and well-lit. I had a comfortable rest every night. The shared facilities, like the bathroom and common area, were always tidy. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable throughout my stay.
The hotel staff were friendly, responsive, and made check-in and check-out smooth.
Overall, it’s a solid option for solo travelers or anyone looking for an affordable, no-frills place to stay in Bandung. I would stay here again!

AAlanJBThis is a decent hotel except for a couple of major issues.
We booked a hotel with a pool. Unfortunately, the pool was too cold to spend anytime in. I never got in beyond my ankles.
Then and this is by far the biggest issue. The hotel must be surrounded by mosques, because once the call to prayer starts in the early hours, you will not be able to sleep through it. It sounds like you have 4 or 5 mosques all doing the call to prayer in your room.
Add to that, one of the evenings it seemed that some individual was also booming out his reciting of some religious tomes, it was the most repetitive dirge, far from the beauty of the call to prayer and it went on for about an hour.
I understand it’s a Muslim nation, but this was rather not conducive to a decent nights sleep.

My stay at was decent, though there were a few areas for improvement. The hotel is in a convenient location, close to public transport and local attractions, which made exploring the area easy. However, the surroundings were a bit noisy, and I could hear traffic from my room at night.
The staff were polite and helpful, but service could have been quicker, especially during check-in. It took longer than expected, and there was some confusion about my booking. Once sorted, the staff did their best to make up for the delay.
The room was clean but quite basic. The bed was comfortable enough, though the furniture and decor felt outdated. I also noticed that the bathroom needed better upkeep, with some worn fixtures that could use replacing.
The breakfast was okay, with a reasonable variety of options, though nothing stood out as particularly memorable. It would have been nice to see more fresh choices and better coffee.
The facilities, including the pool and gym, were functional but nothing special. The pool area could use more seating, and the gym equipment seemed a bit old.
In summary, it offers a fair experience for the price, but with a few upgrades and attention to detail, it could easily improve. It’s an acceptable option for short stays but may not meet expectations for a more luxurious experience.
