Location & Accessibility: Many praised the quiet, convenient location near A3, Cobham, and a nearby pub .

Basic cheap overnight stay whilst visiting Hampton Court. Would stay again. Pub 1 minute walk from the hotel and on the doorstep (nice food)

I regularly stayed at the premier regularly due to the close proximity to my workplace and had overlooked certain things because the location was so convenient but my last visit was absolutely my last. I checked into the hotel and went up the room to find that the room had not been touched since the last person vacated it. The room was stale and musty having not been aired all day, dirty sheets , empty cans on the unit and a fan still running on high speed in the middle of the room. I returned to reception to tell her the room had not been cleaned and she apologised and offered to change the sheets as there were no other rooms available. I told her that would not be enough as the room was stale having not been ventilated all day. I asked to be moved to another hotel but as it was 9pm she couldn't find anywhere. I called my employer who was able to assist in finding another hotel. Previous visits have been poor, with dirty cups in the room or poorly cleaned bathrooms. The hotel generally is of a poor standard and pretty depressing especially for the price which can be expensive on some weeks. On this occasion I had paid £200 for the room received a full refund after making a complaint. I will not be returning there as there are other options and will no longer compromise my standards for the convenience of its location.

It appears to me that the only job for the Premier Inn in Cobham is to generate business for other local hotels, because none of them could be as bad as this one! None of the public spaces look like they get vacuumed, the foot towel in our room already had someone else’s footprints on it when we arrived! It really is unkempt and grotty. The one plus point is that the bed is very comfortable.

I arrived and thought I was at the wrong hotel, Looked really run down, neglected, beer cans and rubbish in car park and area outside overgrown and untidy. Although arriving over an hour later than check in rooms were not ready. Reception unorganised. TV didn’t work so moved to another room . The whole building is very run down and definitely very over priced for what it is! Breakfast, menu sounded great, but selection was extremely poor. Staff rude and abrupt. Scrambled eggs had obviously sat there a very long time and were burnt black underneath. When one of our group asked for fresh eggs the staff member commented “it wasn’t his job”! Certainly would not stay there again

Stayed at this hotel many times over the years when going to Wimbledon for the tennis. Always been good but this time there were a few things that showed a lack of attention which let it down. There were no cups in the room, so we went and asked for some but the receptionist forgot so we had to ask again. Also there was only one set of towels despite two people staying and the net curtain for the window had fallen down but hadn’t been put back up. The staff member running the breakfast service on both mornings clearly didn’t want to be there with little customer service. All a bit sad and hope the service improves going forward.

Wonderful location. Room hot no air con although a fan was provided but not enough. Cobwebs in bathroom and above the bed. Shower floor cracked and broken and had lost its non slip quality

The location for my needs was ideal and the price was good. Plenty of parking and the hotel quite attractive. My welcome was quite underwhelming (no eye contact) - they also told me that I had included breakfast (I hadn’t). The room was ok - no A/C here but on the hottest day of the year to date it was reasonably comfortable. Ventilation in the bathroom was poor and the shower tended to spray the floor - I’m guessing that’s why some mould was evident. Otherwise pretty clean. The Chef and Brewer next door was ok, though service slow despite being empty (apart from the bar/pub) and one of the servers was complaining about her manager rather than the task in hand. Breakfast was ok ish but on the second day I realised that they stopped serving at 9am - wasn’t particularly clear and I’ve never come across such an early finish - especially as it was a buffet service. I would say that they could do better but would consider staying again.

We have been staying at the premier in cobham over a ten year period and in that time we have seen it slowly deteriorate. The rit has set in. Reinvestiment to make this place seem happy and alive. It’s well worn. It is dreary. Time to spend your money whitbreds and invest in your businesses not take it for profit. Mouldy bathrooms and all. Really on positive feedback just cons try tube criticism
