We booked this B&B at the last minute after driving an hour from our house for a fish fry. We were amazed. First of all the cost was under $100 to stay there, which was a steal. Their grounds were amazing.There were a variety of colored birds in the feeders from Hummingbirds to Blue Jays. They offer a beautiful built in pool to swim in. We picked the garden queen room. It was quaint and the bed was billowy and comfy. The hosts Pat and Deb were super nice and inviting. They explained everything in detail that we may need to know.There was a coffee maker available round the clock fully stocked. Deb prepared the breakfast for us.
She made us a yogurt parfait, eggs, cheese, sausage, baked apples with cinnamon and an English muffin.We really enjoyed ourselves and will be back in later summer to enjoy the pool.

Can across Shane Acres Country Inn via internet search of places to stay in the area. Although we were only able to stay one night, the amenities here are extraordinary. The friendliness of the owners created a very relaxed environment. If our travels ever bring us back to the Juneau area, we would definitely stay at Shane Acres again.
