We had a suite here for 2 nights and it was very run down. Very few of the furniture door and drawers shut properly. There was no shower screen so water went all over the place. Breakfast was poor with only 2 types of cereal and fried eggs that looked as though they had been around for a couple of days. The only plus points were the location to the city and a car park (chargeable).

In the beginning, I had mixed feelings about this hotel...I mean, it is quite old and the furnishings are quite outdated and for Heaven's sake guys, change the TVs in the rooms. Mine was like a small computer screen and the image was awfuuuuullll. But, hear me out... There are lots of positive things about this hotel. Well, for starters, it is in the city' s center. I mean, you almost cannot be more central than that. Well, there is Melody, but I stayed there 30 years ago, so... It is quiet. I stayed there in April, so maybe that's why, but nevertheless, I enjoyed it. The breakfast is nice, maybe a bit repetitive, but OK. But what made me give 4 stars are mainly the people that work there. From the receptionist to waiters to the cleaning lady they were all so nice and polite they absolutely made me forget about the TV set and the small shower cabin and stuff like that. So, if you like luxury, this hotel is definitely not for you. But if you like quaint, old( ish), shabby stuff and nice people, I say, go for it.

Hotel very well located in the center of Cluj. One of the great advantages of the Hotel is having private parking (paid). The Hotel is a little outdated. It seems that we are still in the time of Ceausescu...hehehe.Old and uninteresting furniture. The television was from the 70s. Apart from that, the hotel is pleasant to spend one night.Friendly reception staff. Very weak breakfast. Very good value for money.

Decent hotel. Good 3*, clean nice room, cozy restaurant, minutes walking to the city center (Piata Unirii) and BEST OF ALL PARKING! (50 Ron about 15 CAD) Was a good start for a vacation in Romania after 50 years!

The hotel is a perfect base to explore Cluj-Napoca. The room is clean and modern. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. You can choose from 3 different breakfasts every day for the next day. If you are here for 2 or 3 nights, this is great. If you are here longer it might get boring.

I stayed here for just one night, while passing through Cluj. I had stayed here before, about 4 years ago, and was happy to return. Friendly welcome at reception. Room was a little basic, but was comfortable and had a/c, fridge and TV. Nice restaurant in the courtyard. Breakfast was excellent. Reasonably priced. Would stay there again if I was in Cluj.

Das Hotel vermittelt ein perfektes Retro-Feeling. Das altmodische Mobiliar ist in sich stimmig. Die Zimmer überraschen sogar durch Details wie Tee-/Kaffeekocher, Schuhputzzeug, flauschige Handtücher,.......die es in Hotels dieser Kategorie oft nicht gibt. Unschlagbar ist die Lage des Hotels; ruhig und 1 Minute vom historischen Zentrum. Das Haus hat ein sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. "Unterirdisch" ist das Restaurant, das aber nicht Gegenstand meiner Bewertung ist: dort sieht der gelangweilte Kellner zu wie die Gäste den Frühstückstisch selbst abräumen und mit einem Putzlappen säubern. Aber zum Glück gibt es im Umkreis von 5 Gehminuten mindestens 20 Lokale, die besser sind.
