The Cabins at Cloudcroft

The Cabins at Cloudcroft are charming, the views, amazing. Loved seeing the deer around the cabins, beautiful birds everywhere too. The cabin #14 was perfect for me and my brother and of course the 30 degree cooler weather got us away from the intense heat. Karl and Laura, owners go out of their way to make sure your stay is delightful and these cabins are some of the cleanest I've ever stayed in. I highly recommend that these cabins are on your bucket list!!

My favorite place….Owners and staff are ALWAYS kind and very helpful. Our cabin was a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the mountain energy. It feels like our home away from home. Excited to arrive…sad to leave.

What a treasure! This stay was everything you would expect from a mountain cabin -- cozy fire place, retro-lodge / nostalgic and local decor, SUPER CLEAN, I could go on and on. Call to book your stay and hope that you get to speak with Karl. He's an absolute gem, and such an advocate for what to expect and all things Coudcroft. I honestly wanted to write this review before we even showed up due to the conversation and customer service Karl provided on our booking call. These cabins are close to everything you would want to see and do in Cloudcroft. The ownership group is networked with the Cloudcroft Chamber of Commerce and are the perfect representatives and advocates for their cozy, welcoming mountain town. We brought our two (well-behaved, well traveled) dogs, and it was perfect. We stayed in cabin 15 and it was so nice to take the dogs potty in the wooded area behind the cabin. The town comes to life at night and this cabin was the perfect mix of quiet solitude while being close enough to the vibrant downtown area. We met so many friendly people -- we will definitely be back! We live in El Paso and would seriously book this as a month long stay to beat the Summer desert heat. If you haven't visited Cloudcroft, you don't know what you're missing and the Cabins at Cloudcroft are the perfect retreat!

I live locally and always have my family members stay here when they come. The grounds and surrounding areas are breathtaking. I love the owners, they are excellent people and always make sure you are well taken care of.

Wonderful setting in the mountains among tall evergreen trees, quiet and very peaceful. We were there for a family reunion with over 30 people and three generations. Everyone enjoyed their stay. The rustic cabins are clean and well furnished; showers have plenty of hot water. The hosts are friendly and accommodating. And pricing is very reasonable. We'd be happy to stay there again.

Our visit began with a warm welcome from our hosts, Karl and Laura (aka Santa and Mrs. Claus at Christmas). Our cabin had all the necessities -- a fireplace, television, Internet, kitchenette, and more -- for a cozy stay! The cabin was located close to town -- 3-minute drive. We enjoyed walking through the shops and just enjoying this rustic area! Everyone was very friendly! For a "snuggly" rustic getaway, make the Cabins at Cloudcroft your destination!
