Beautiful room, comfortable bed, and excellent hosts - what more do you want. Well for starters there is a gorgeous view of the north GA mountains, and did I mention the fire pit you can sit at and enjoy that view? They also have a happy hour where you can enjoy a peach cider that had my wife and inquiring about where to find a six pack of it. Will stay there again, would give 10 stars but the scale only goes to 5.

Lovely setting! The terrace looks out on forest and faces west. Lovely sunsets and we also enjoyed our morning coffee on the terrace listening to the birds. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and well appointed room. The location was convenient to exploring historic Dahlongea, surrounding countryside for fishing, Amicacola Falls and many other local attractions.

This place is absolutely amazing. Clean rooms, super friendly staff. Amazing views. 5 minutes from town but you feel like its forever away. Very quiet. They have a very nice guest check in lobby with drinks and snacks. Basic hiking supplies. Place is absolutely amazing we definitely recommend.

My husband and I stayed in one of the eco cabins for one night and it was perfect. The view was amazing and the accommodations were really cute. It was so peaceful. It is close to the town and everyone was so nice! You do have to be able to walk through a woody area to get to some of the cabins but it didn’t bother us. We will definitely be back.

Quiet, clean and cool room with coffee maker, small refrigerator and microwave. A firm mattress with 2 sets of comfortable pillows. The water pressure in the shower was strong. The front terrace with the swing facing the mountain was very relaxing. Great get away from our busy lives. Thank you for your hospitality.

Comfortable beds - slept like a baby! Beautiful rooms!! Exceptionally clean!!! Breathtaking views!!!! The wonderful staff really made us feel at home!!!!! Truly enjoyed our stay!!!!!! I can't wait to go back and enjoy the comforts if home in the beauty if nature :) ＜3

I originally chose Barefoot Hills for its location relative the start / end of a race I was doing in the mountains. The images / description on the site seemed nice enough, but when I pulled into the lot, I was immediately blown away. The surroundings were serene and the hotel immaculate. The staff was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend visiting for a long weekend or longer if you can.

Be careful about booking here. This is nothing like a hotel or even a motel. It's a recently built complex of 5 or 6 units, far out of town and with few amenities. When we arrived there was no staff on the premises and we had to make several phone calls to get a code for our room. Everything was a struggle. The view is beautiful.

We had a wonderful experience! We stayed in a log cabin which was so cute and had everything we could have needed. The grounds of the resort are beautiful…hearing nature all around you! The employees were also very friendly. My husband and I would be delighted to stay there again!
