Days Inn by Wyndham Clemson

Our door wouldn't latch & wasn't shut when we arrived. The neighbors were very loud & slamming doors late into the night, the hotel can't really help that but the walls are super thin.

You can tell this motel has been around for a long time. It has been used and probably a bit abused. It was clean enough, but it could use a lot of TLC. The tub dripped all night long and the shower curtain bar was held up by a mini shampoo bottle to keep it from falling off the wall. The AC worked in our room but oscillated between freezing cold air and just air while the room stayed a mediocre temperature. It is close to campus, and is good enough for just one night, but I would look elsewhere for an extended stay.

No locals allowed If you’re a local don’t try and stay here in the event of an emergency. Due to the incoming bad weather I packed up my girls and decided to stay here. Made my reservation on line and off we went. When I went to check in I was told sorry, can’t give you a room because you’re a local. I explain that I had two young children with me and needed a room for the night because of the incoming bad weather. This man didn’t want to hear it. He absolutely refused to us. I understand people trash rooms, but I’m a 40yr old man with two kids. I’m not there to party, I’m there to ride out a bad storm.

There was not even water or a toast available for breakfast. I have never experienced such a low quality breakfast. During my 4 day stay my room was not cleaned once.
