East of the Strip
I had a wonderful experience with my family and dog Marley. The Hampton is very close to the strip. I love the free parking, free breakfast and the pool. Very laid back, clean & quite. I would definitely recommend and I will definitely stay my next visit.

One glitch--a consistent, persistent problem--but otherwise a decent stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, quiet, and modernized. Staff and hotel guests alike were taking proper COVID safety precautions. The problem area was that nobody was at the front desk any of the three times that we went there for something. At check-in...had to wait for someone to show up. At check-out...had to wait for someone to show up. Had a question about something during our stay...had to wait for someone to show up.

It is a pure hotel building, there is no ***, so it is very quiet. The farthest south hall from the convention center is only a 10-minute walk. It's a 10-minute taxi ride and a 20-minute walk from the ***** center. 15 minutes drive from the airport. Breakfast has fixed varieties every day. Scrambled eggs sausage bread milk cereal fruit. It is a very suitable hotel for business travel, but the only terrible thing is that it can't even connect to the wifi😅, and the hotel staff can't connect to various operations... a fly in the ointment!

Property is right off I-15 and about a 20 minute drive from LAS airport. I know this is a pet peeve of mine and I will get it out of the way. It takes 3 seconds to say... 'Thank you for being a Titanium member'. It is pathetic that Marriott does not bother to train their staff in this most basic customer friendly task. Room was OK, although on the small side for calling something a 'suite'. Separate Toilet/Sink, compared to the Shower/Sink which is a nice feature. Microwave and fridge in each room. AC unit was a hassle. Even if I put it on a constant Fan mode, every time the AC starts up, it makes a loud noise and with considerable vibration and rattling. Poor quality sleep for the 5 nights I spent here. Breakfast was a decent spread with plenty of variety. High marks for breakfast. Fresh fruit as well available each day. Day 2 I go to the Fitness Center. I notice there are no towels (see picture). I go up to the front desk (about 7:00 am) and mention to the gentleman that there are no towels in the fitness room. To my astonishment, he tells me ”they dont provide towels in the fitness room” but he will be happy to give me some towels and hands me 2 huge Bath towels. I ask him if he has hand towels and he repeats the statement that the hotel does not provide towels in the fitness room. Picture I have included shows used hand towels in the basket!!! 2 days later, I see a nice fresh stack of hand towels in the fitness room (see picture). It is unbelievable that Springhill Suites cant even bother to train their front desk staff on what is common practice at the hotel. We need to aim higher than a pulse and body temperature for these positions.

We stayed 15 & 16 of Sept 2022, having booked in March. Immediately things got off to a bad start, the male reception simply ignored us on arrival for 5 minutes. A female receptionist from the back of the office was called out who booked us in, the room was on the ground floor at the front. It smelt strongly of smoke, was much smaller than anticipated and very noisy given the garage opposite. After raising with reception the room was sprayed with a deodorant. After 5 minutes the smoke smell overpowered this. We then asked for a room change and were given one on the third floor. This smelt better and was of the size expected. The hotel has no restaurant, so for evening meal offers a room service, which incurs additional cost of transit, service and taxes, roughly another 20$. The hotel has no adjacent restaurants, there is a Mexican take away, which we used. Breakfast is self service to a very limited scope, the hot offering was only chipolatas, scrambled egg, toast or waffles, the cold is flavoured yoghurts, cereals and milk. The breakfast staff were very pleasant borderline apologetic. You must use a taxi or the bus to get to the Strip in central LV. A good tip is to buy for 8$ an all day access to the bus, so you may use it as often as you wish to go up and down the Strip as well as getting away from the hotel. The second evening, the room had no replacement coffee or tea and in the morning there was no hot water, it was stone cold all morning. At breakfast the chipolatas had been changed for very thin burgers, these tasted awful and were inedible. A second tip is to use their shuttle bus from the airport and back, you'll have to call them on arrival. Otherwise nothing to commend staying here
