Stunning views, think this would be a lovely spot in winter. In summer however aircon is a must qnd we missed that they do not hv aircon. Friendly checkin and for just one night good for sleeping over in clarens. Furniture dated but very clean and cozy with a fireplace.

Violet was very helpful and efficient from the beginning. Rooms were lovely and information was shared accordingly. It's lovely being in the heart of the main road of Clarens and experiencing the Clarens vibe. Centrally located and ideal for walking around the town

My husband and I went to Clarens on a quick getaway. Managed to get the specific room we wanted (& have stayed in a few times). Violet was very helpful. The table and chairs on the veranda are a nice touch, overlooking the mountain range. Quiet room at the back. No noise from "the square". The room was clean ànd the bed was very comfortable. My only gripe was the coloured bath towels. They need upgrading to white.

Excellent location and very convenient to lots of activities for family entertainment. Friendly and welcoming staff ensuring that our stay was pleasant and that rooms were clean and tidy at all times.

We had a wonderful experience. The receptionist made a huge difference to add to the comfortable room and beautiful view. Red Mountain House is the best situated of all accommodations. The room was spacious and convenient for 2 people to move around easily. The balcony is a huge plus.

Neat and cozy. The bathroom is equipped with both shower tub. The heater in the bathroom however did not work. There is also floor heating which makes the room substantially warmer. There was no electric blankets(which was fine because the floor heating kept the room warm) there is also a fire place which is well stocked with wood. Other amenities including dstv, a fridge and tiny kettle. You are restricted in terms of the wifi to if I'm not mistaken 1000mb × the number of nights you stay. There is no secure parking for vehicles. The no gate or fence made me quite nervous.We opted to park at the back of the accomodation and had the tedious task of dragging our luggage up two sets of stairs. This place does not offer breakfast which is okay because there are restaurants downstairs. It is worth its price.

Red Mountain is slap bang on the town square, so you can't get closer to the local shops, restaurants and attractions. The rooms are quiet, peaceful and extremely neat and clean, with beautiful views out over the mountains from the balcony. The service is super-friendly, with Jessica going out of her way to accommodate our need for an early check-in. Highly recommended.
