Bellbridge House Hotel

Second time staying here for a wedding unfortunately this time was not up to scratch. While the rooms are spotless if somewhat basic our room 302 was quiet small it was hidden away through the bar then a little restaurant up a tiny stairs and basically in the attic. The headroom in the bathroom was none existent and I kept banging my head while getting ready . I am only 5ft 5 my husband is 6ft 4 and had to duck every time he went in the bathroom or around to the opposite side of the bed. On a more positive note Ian the night porter was a gent. He was very professional and genuinely good at his job.

Fantastic stay at the Bellbridge Hotel! I stayed here with a cycling group coming from Mizen and their hospitality was outstanding and much appreciated. Clearly a well-known and iconic spot of Miltown-Malbay. I would recommend this spot for any stay. Or even just dinner or breakfast if you are just passing through!

Absolutely disgusted with the restaurant staff! Went for a smoke after my dinner leaving friends behind at our table the manager ran out after me causing me of leaving without paying. Absolutely embarrassed leaving the restaurant. Food was 2 out of 10

What a lovely stay we had last weekend at The Bellbridge Hiuse Hotel. Lovely staff. On Saturday morning the person in charge of breakfast was extremely accomodating. I am a wheelchair user and the lady couldn’t do enough for us. To making sure we were comfortable at the table to bringing our coffees to the table and constantly checking we were ok. I can’t say the same for Sunday morning. After giving our room no she asked us if we were here before. She wasn’t a bit helpful. As a wheelchair user I had requested a wheelchair accessible room. The room wasn’t at all accessible. There wasn’t enough floor space to get around room without hitting off the furniture and the bathroom was too small. I had to leave the bathroom door open each time I used it and lastly the hand soap was too far up on wall to reach it. I was using my portable chair which is smaller than my main chair. The disabled room needs to be a lot bigger. And also this needs to be advised to tourists when booking. The hotel was immaculate and beds were very comfortable. It didn’t spoil my weekend but it might for someone more disabled than I am.

We recently celebrated our child's First Holy Communion at Bellbridge House Hotel, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made our family group feel incredibly welcome and well taken care of. The highlight of the day was the delicious meal — every course was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. From the starters to the desserts, everything was cooked to perfection, with something to please everyone, including the children. The kitchen staff truly went above and beyond to ensure everything was served hot, fresh, and on time. The atmosphere in the dining area was warm and inviting, and the team’s attention to detail made the celebration feel extra special. It was clear that the staff genuinely cared about making the day memorable for our family. We’re so grateful to everyone at Bellbridge House Hotel for helping to make this important occasion such a joyful and stress-free celebration. Highly recommended for any family event!

Delightful two weekend nights in the Bellbridge, a wonderfully friendly hotel, very comfy and delicious food throughout. Must give a special mention to the fabulous Anna who looked after us three cousins on the Saturday morning for breakfast so attentively. We'll be back!
