Super hotel, clean and attentive by both staff and management. Great meal and possibility to choose your menu on a slate. I recommend this hotel, air conditioning in the dining room and great shaded terrace.

Meal on August 14, 2022, we sincerely thank the kitchens, the dishes we chose were really excellent. We feasted. Too bad there were a lot of people, the service was very long. The waitress was very friendly and willing, but made a few small errors with the dishes. Taking the order must not have been well noted because when paying I could have only paid two thirds of what we consumed. Deserves a good refresh and better organization of meals. Decent bedding but plumbing needs to be reviewed in the bathroom. Nothing is practical, especially during heatwaves. One of the hotels as they were 50 years ago, frozen in the countryside and in time but some will find a certain charm there.

Old attic room on the t****th floor. Dangerous stairs to the top without a handrail. I had asked the hotel for a room on the first floor as my husband has difficulty walking. There was only one available on the third floor. Since we had already booked the room without a refund, we went there. We wanted to check in (with a code, there was no one there) and my husband had difficulty getting to the first floor. He couldn't get up the t****th staircase without a handrail. I then went upstairs alone to see the room. Awful. Small attic room. Old worn out bathroom, bed that squeaked, worn out towels. Moreover, very unsafe in terms of fire hazard! While I was in the room, a toilet was flushed somewhere, making a hellish noise. So we drove on and stayed in a modern hotel, in perfect condition for the same price.

Un hôtel comme on (JE) les aime. Les parquets craquent un peu, on entend les voisins. Une chambre propre dans le jus ancien. Literie électrique pour un bon confort (Ch. 1) Une petite salle de bain mais complète. La télé ne reçoit pas toutes les chaînes mais ce n'est pas grave. Wi-Fi correct. Le service du restaurant est très (trop) long car il n'y a pas beaucoup de personnel de service mais on y déguste de bonne spécialités ( andouillette gratinée au chaource) Le petit déjeuner est lui très fourni avec un pain au top. Pas d'hésitation si vous voulez visiter Clairvaux.
