Hotel Arenas del Mar Resort

Good hotel and well located but poor service strategies. The room they gave me did not have wifi range. There were no towels available, the latter as a result of the hotel giving access to the beach, pool, restaurant and bathroom facilities to anyone whether or not they are staying with a simple cover payment. This mega saturates the facilities and makes the stay unpleasant for those of us who are spending on complete accommodation in a hotel that is not cheap and that should guarantee your satisfaction. During my stay (a few days before Easter) the pool was packed and so were the beach facilities. The pool water was gray at the end of the day. The security guards harass you even for some peanuts that you did not buy at the hotel, and I understand it, but the bad thing is that they do not have the same standard because visitors arrive who perhaps live in Tampico and use the facilities of this hotel frequently ( Because the cover is very cheap and you have even better privileges than those of us who pay for lodging) and with a simple handshake they let you in, who carry coolers with beer, food and snacks and do not apply the same criteria. Suddenly the facilities are so saturated that anyone passing by the beach takes a dip in the pool and enters the bathrooms and they are not told anything; However, with those of us who wear the red guest bracelet... and who are paying for accommodation... they make a "personal mark" by harassing us and paying attention to what we consume. You can stay in a cheap hotel, go to this hotel, pay the access cover and that's it!! You will have better benefits than those who pay for accommodation there. One more option is that you can pay for a cheap hotel elsewhere and you go to the beach in front of this hotel and rent an umbrella with chairs ($200) and you stand in front of the beach of the Arenas del Mar hotel, which is free and you You can bring your beers, food and snacks being closer to the sea and without anyone harassing you. Many people do that and when they want to go to the bathroom or take a dip in the pool or a shower after getting into the sea... they simply sneak into the facilities of the Arenas del Mar hotel like everyone else does and the matter is resolved.

Delicious food, the delicious Limón margaritas, the best thing was the service of Elaidy and Ángel, the delicious shrimp tacos and the unbeatable clam soup. I highly recommend the visit. I just didn't like the chile en nogada =(

El hotel es lindo, muy tranquilo Le falta limpieza a la alberca La.comida no es tan rica. Pero se puede salir al centro a disfrutar de otros platillos. El puente de los mapaches queda a 5 minutos ahí puedes encontrar recuerdos del lugar y o comer algo de camarón.

Parece ser un buen hotel pero las habitaciones están viejas y algo sucias . No hay refrigerador, no nos dieron toallas la secadora de cabello no funcionó las almohadas muy muy feas! Las sábanas fatales y aparte no había elevador . No hay quien suba las maletas en fin nunca regresaría
