This place truly is a little piece of heaven. Tranquil eco lodge in the highlands with lovely bungalows and a feeling of serenity throughout. Service is very good, food is fresh and beautifully served in the two restaurants (three in summer when the outdoor grill is open). Architecture and design is thoughtful and fits with the environment. It’s an eco lodge so things are done with that in mind but it’s not intrusive. It feels luxurious but understated - quite Scandinavian in some ways but still local in feel. Spa is fab (and cheap compared to similar quality elsewhere in Asia). There’s loads of hiking and biking through the surrounding countryside and villages - very worthwhile. The local Red Dao villagers try to sell you their wares as soon as you leave the resort and they are persistent but they’re friendly and it’s cheap. It’s part of the experience to come back with hand made stuff - some of it is quite nice. The views are spectacular and the hiking is great - bring walking shoes you don’t mind getting muddy. Walking through rice fields and through the villages is beyond special. It’s a five hour drive from Hanoi but they provide a luxury minibus which is very comfortable. It’s worth it. It’s very good value too. Stay for 2-3 nights (longer in summer when you can use the pool and chill outside more). Even in Feb the weather is warm enough to be outside (with a jacket). Very much recommended.
Khách sạn rất gần trung tâm, phòng sạch sẽ thoáng mát, phục vụ tốt, dọn phòng sạch sẽ, có tầng thượng thoáng mát để cho khách giải trí và gắm cảnh, tuy nhiên tôi góp ý cần nâng cấp chất lượng tivi rõ nét hơn, tôi rất hài lòng. Xin cám ơn

Despite the cold weather, the electrical panels were too warm, and especially the hosts took good care of me, so I was traveling alone, but I wasn't lonely at all! :) I had a lot of talk with my Vietnamese friends, and I was invited to a local feast, so I had a pleasant trip!
I highly recommend it to Koreans ㅎㅎ I'm going to visit again next summer.
Hotels are a tough business, so it's sad I'm writing a 2-star review. Let's first consider the business. Most businesses do one thing, or two at most, and that's their focus. Hotels have to run many facets well: cleaning, laundry, infrastructure maintenance, repairs to all the rooms and bathrooms and TV's and air-conditioning, renovations, running a kitchen making food 16 hours a day. Then there's managing personnel, scheduling and coordinating tradesmen, wholesale food supplies. And then, marketing and advertising, bookings, and all the admin of all those facets. Like I said, a hard industry to work in, let alone turn a profit. Le Bordeaux is struggling. My room had bugs, mould, unswept floors, broken lights, frayed and threadbare towels, dirt and dust. AirCon didn't cool the room. WiFi was poor. The hotel is at a busy intersection, and although they're not responsible for the horns honking from 6am to 11pm, the windows are not sound insulated. The restaurant is reasonably priced and offers a wide ranging menu of decent quality food, but can be slow. For $60 AUD a night, I've had much better. I hope they turn things around, and they could if they improved housekeeping, audited their WiFi, TVs and AirCon machines to make them work, and sped up the kitchen.
This hotel is exceptional. One of the best I have ever stayed at. Rooms clean, large, and modern. It has an interesting vibe as it’s relatively small so has that charm but still manages to capture the class that comes with bigger hotel chains. Feels like you’re staying in a Hilton that’s been shrunk down in size. The staff are amazing. Super friendly and helpful. I wanted to go up Mount Fansipan which I heard is a waste of money if the weather is bad, but you often can’t tell until you’re up there. The hotel receptionist knew someone on the mountain and called him to check, so I knew it was clear. That’s over and above service. The rooftop infinity pool is a standout. One of the most beautiful pools I have seen. A great way to end the day or chill after a tough trek. Location is great. Sapa in general is busy and touristy but the street this is on is slightly less hectic while still being close to the center. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. One thing to note is the basic rooms in this hotel don’t have windows, so if you want windows book the Superior Room. That’s what I did. You can’t see much from the windows though so if you want a view get a room with a balcony. The hotel is exceptional value for money anyway so it’s probably worth the expense. I would highly recommend the Sapa Soleil Hotel. Thanks for a great stay!

Stayed here for a short trip but it was fantastic. This is a great getaway if you’re looking for a nice and quiet place to relax. The scenery is beautiful, full of the locals gardens and mountains. It’s about 10 minutes or less from the main attraction areas but we didn’t mind. The main attractions tend to get crowded and loud so coming back to a quiet place at night was great. We taxied there and back thanks to the very helpful receptionist who would call the taxis for us. They have motorbike for rental too. Our room was great and comfy. We loved all the embroidery items and pictures displayed throughout the place. The people here are very nice and caring. Breakfast was delicious and many options to choose from. Pho for breakfast was A++. We also ate at the restaurant for Lunch/Dinner and the food was delicious. Wait time was a bit longer but you can tell everything was cooked fresh, so no complaints there. We ate here every day because the food was delicious and authentic. All the managers and workers were so nice and the atmosphere was great. Going to try the heated pool tomorrow. We had a pleasant stay overall. Next time we’ll stay longer for sure.
If you want a good view in Sapa, I recommend this area.
It's in the same alley as Eco Farm or Rocksik, so the view is similar, and there's a natural waterfall flowing in the back, so the scenery is nice.
It doesn't seem to be many tourists yet, but it is a good value for money accommodation.
The interior is made of cypress wood, so it has a nice woody scent, and there are two cute kittens in the restaurant.
The hot water comes out late, so please be careful of burns. You can also call a taxi at the hotel.

We had a great experience at the Bamboo Sapa Hotel. It's a peaceful and luxurious place to stay in Sapa. The staff, especially the manager Phuk, was very helpful. The hotel has beautiful views, comfortable rooms, and great facilities. I highly recommend it and plan to return in the future. ❤️
Our stay at Eco Palms was amazing. They welcomed us with a welcome drink early in the morning, as we arrived with the night train. We did the check in and staff organized us the trekking with Mama Mei after breakfast. The breakfast has different options and you can repeat. The place has a nice pool with amazing views of the valley. At night you could stare at the stars and enjoy the quietness of the place. All the staff was really kind, but would like to mention specially Nam, always trying to help with everything he can. The day of departure they allowed us to take a shower before going back to Hanoi with the night bus, which was really good after all day exploring the area. Eco Palms has restaurant and there are some others in the area, but consider it is located around 10 minutes by car from the town (for us it was not a problem, just take a bike, scooter or grab).
GGuest UserReally good location in centre of town close to Mount Phan Xi Pang Funicular station. Also close to shopping for clothes, souvenirs, massages, restaurants and convenience stores. Rooms very spacious, beds comfortable, bathrooms large with large modern showers but hot water restricted to 30 litres, then a 10 min wait for next persons shower. Use smaller hand held rather than rain shower to make it last sufficiently. By no means a short shower and water hot enough. Breakfast only passable quality but then their culture doesn’t venerate breakfast in the same way western cultures do, will cook fresh omelettes or noodle bowls order. Staff friendly and helpful. One negative for quiet enjoyment, location is close to several street bars and roof top bars. But once you close shutters, windows and doors it deadens sound greatly.

LLea ChingClean hotel. Food was good. Scenery from 10th floor is nice. Visitor should not miss the views from 10th floor. A little garden at lobby level .
MMun YauThe room was clean and we were greeted by a hotel dog which was a surprise.(friendly not barking kind) initially booked the hotel for one night.
In the room there was a post card greeting for us and tea packets.Had the mountain view room which we were able to catch the rail train pass by in the morning to afternoon!
Room includes breakfast buffet that had a amazing view outside! Later on we decided to stay one more night on last minute plans and they just happen to have another room which the room is throughly clean as well! Staff is friendly and able to converse in basic english some better than others. Would come back to stay again if given a chance! The price of the hotel is a steal too!
The only sad thing which cant blame them as the room on higher floor is full. I had stayed at G floor which is below street level. But still had this amazing view on the 3rd photo from our room! Imagine having a higher floor the view would be spectacular!

Lovely setting / we had one of the newer rooms which was LUSH! Fireplace, bath tub, excellent views etc so don’t skimp out when selecting. All in all a great place for an Ecolodge. Easy to do the 90 min walking loop through the valley - NO tour needed! Just walk and go! You’ll see 100 people in the valley with tour groups as you pass. Only fundamental issue for the hotel is their room service. We wanted to order a snack - fried corn (which costs 70k Dong). They informed any and all room service has a charge of 200k Dong fixed. This was just slightly frustrating as a matter of principle so being British and obviously passive aggressive we ate out instead. That rule should be fundamentally scrapped as a policy matter.
GGuest UserA beautiful hotel in a stunning location. We had a great room with amazing mountain views. The service here was exceptional and it is worth paying for the delicious breakfast. We would definitely come back here. Steve, the general manager and his staff in particular Nora and Munn made our stay unforgettable.
GGuest UserHighly recommended Hotel. Large room on the 6th floor had great views over the town and the mountains. A little back from the main road so quieter on the street. Breakfast was really good, omelette and pancakes were delicious. Good selection of fruits and juice as well. Staff very helpful with local tours etc and also do laundry here - charge 50k per kilo and takes about 24 hrs. There is some noise if there’s an event in the square close by so if your a light sleeper check first or take ear plugs just in case. Great to be in a cooler climate for a few days after Hanoi.

GGuest UserWe booked a mountain view room and were in the 3rd floor and we can see part of the mountain and the lake and the main town buildings. It was their winter so it was cold, foggy and damp the whole time. The staff are very friendly, nice, hospitable and really had a great service as they are so accomodating. The only thing we were a little upset was when we were resting after a long bumpy travel by bus, we put the Do Not Disturb sign outside the door but all of a sudden they just unlock the door because they was gonna fix something in one of their drawers. I was in my bra and panty laying in bed and they never even let us know ahead that they were gonna fix something. They dont wait when there is no more guest or give a heads up ahead so we will be prepared. We didnt want to be disturbed and it happened twice that they just unlock the door without knocking and asking. We are happy with their service though, there was no buffet breakfast but you can order from the menu and they will cook it for you fast. The staff in the restaurant were nice and accomodating, we tipped one that was always there to take care of our breakfast as she was really hard working. The hotel was very close to everything in the main town but it is just up on a hill but manageable, we love walking back n forth.
เเจ้าเด็กดุ๊กดิ๊กIt's a small hotel. Quite in the heart of Sapana city. Easy walk to the central courtyard Easy to go to Sun Plaza, not expensive
the bedroom is comfortable There is a small window Opened out to see a view of the city a bit.
Breakfast is a Vietnamese menu, pho and a few other things we don't know. Bread, salad, simple fruit.
What we like is the service. We arrived at five o'clock. It's too early to check in. The hotel also has a sleeping cushion zone for massage. Enough space to lie down and relax temporarily
Overall, it's okay. I'm impressed.
