It is July 2024, we have been here since May 2024. We are here for my husband‘s job. All of the staff here are extremely accommodating, professional, warm, welcoming, always have a smile on their faces, they greet you ,they go above and beyond the call of duty. I applaud them all, and I hope they get the recognition they all deserve. If they can’t do it or find something they will find someone that can. All of them are extremely efficient and proficient in their positions. The hotel is clean and I feel safe here. The surrounding area is very convenient with lots of shopping and restaurants. Close enough to walk to. Tons of options. The Sandcastle, it’s a waterpark is here. Also, if you have children to entertain. And Kennywood is close by as well. The bike path along the river is beautiful and convenient. The beds are comfortable. The view of the river from our balcony is gorgeous. They do have a bistro down In the lobby area. It is open for breakfast and dinner. They do have a bar. They also have free coffee in the morning. All in all, it has been an enjoyable experience staying in this hotel. I would recommend this hotel,If you are visiting this area. I would definitely come back to this hotel if in the area again. Again kudos to all of the employees! U make this hotel what is it!! The location is good and the staff is nice. The pricing is a little high. Probably likely due to the NCAA tournament but no matter when you go it’s always pretty high for this caliber room. Breakfast offering is nice. Room smelled like it had been previously occupied by a smoker. That’s something I should not be able to detect, in my opinion. The partially empty bottle of lotion a little disconcerting upon arrival.

The Pittsburgh Waterfront Holiday Inn is a wonderful place to stay. It is beautiful, clean and friendly. The best part of staying here is not the beautiful location or cleanliness, but the fabulous staff. Ryan has been so fabulous. He was so patient, kind and knowledgeable when we checked in. He made us feel so welcome and is always friendly and helpful. He makes us feel that this is truly a home away from home.

Thank you to this hotel for hosting my family during our wedding weekend! They reserved the entire 3rd floor for us. The front desk associates were very pleasant and accommodating. Anything we needed, they helped us with. When my husband and I wouldn't be there for check in to our honeymoon suite because our wedding was at the same time, they took our luggage to the room for us while we were out, so that when we came back it was already in our room. They allowed us to have late check out both Saturday and Sunday. The breakfast was also very good! I was very pleased. The rooms were great! Very comfortable. And their body wash, shampoo, and conditioner were the nice big bottles. We got a conference room for the reception dinner, and it was big and lovely. The entire hotel is very nice with ample parking. I was very pleased with this hotel and proud to host my family there. It was 15 minutes with traffic to our venue, Salvatore's. The only issue was the staff changes, where the staff we were dealing with in the planning of our weekend would quit and not leave any notes for the new staff, and we'd have to start all over. However, in the end, it all worked out perfectly. I am happy with this hotel.

The hotel was really nice and lots of fun things around to do. The hotel bus driver, Marvin, was so much fun and personable. He made the trip here so much better. The hotel bar and restaurant was surprisingly affordable, and the food and staff were really good.

I am already staying for the second time. The breakfast is good and very rich. If you are still not satisfied, there are pancakes on the spot, but at your own expense, give a good review! And the room can be cooked and eaten. I used to cook some noodles and add some spicy food to eat and eat. The whole hotel gives a very comfortable feeling.

I previously stayed here over a decade ago and recently revisited during a trip to Pittsburgh and was pleasantly surprised to how different the hotel looked, in the best way possible! The entire facility has been undergoing renovations, and you can definitely tell upgrades have been made; the front lobby is spacious, clean, and inviting and is right near the area where free breakfast is hosted in the morning. The rooms are spacious, clean, and modern, with our standard two bed room having a large desk/kitchenette space, a couch, and two tvs in addition to the beds! The location is great; right near a major road and plenty of shopping and restaurants—-perfect for those looking to stay in Pittsburgh but still be close to attractions!

Recently stayed at this Hampton Inn with our swim team because my kids were in a championship swim meet at the University of Pittsburgh and this hotel is very close. However, we had a couple of problems. Like other hotels since Covid, cleaning service is limited. We were told that the room would be cleaned on day 3 of our 5-night stay. However, we ran out of towels (4 people in our room) and TP rather quickly (only three bath towels and one roll of tp were supplied in the room on day 1). On day two in the morning, I wanted to take a shower and did not have towels (kids and husband showered first). My husband went down to the front desk to be told rudely that the towels were being washed and would not be available until the afternoon sometime. So I called down to the front desk to ask when there would be towels. ”I have no idea” was the response. When I asked when they normally were done - ”no idea”. Since I was paying over 200 a day to stay here, I wanted to take a shower when it was convenient for me. So I called the main Hilton number and complained. They then called the front desk at our hotel and poof -- I immediately got a call saying that there were towels available (but I had to pick them up myself). Day 3 when we were told we were scheduled to have the room cleaned (and we requested it also) - the room was not cleaned. My husband was mad and asked them to clean the room on day 4 (in the meantime we were emptying our own trash down the hall and searching daily for cleaning help to get toilet paper). He found a cleaner and she said she would clean the room but we would have to strip down our beds and put the sheets in the hallway. Since when do guests have to do the cleaners' jobs? What exactly are guests paying in a hotel if there are no clean towels available, if you have to beg for toilet paper, if you have to strip down your own beds to have your room cleaned, if the front desk personnel are consistently rude to the guests? I will not be coming back to this hotel.

The hotel itself has only breakfast, a good breakfast. APPPLEBEE nearby, although not far away, it is more convenient to drive to eat, otherwise it is not convenient
