PPlato_369I stayed at this HGI 9/15-9/18 and will definitely use this location anytime i am back in the area. The room was clean, tidy and smelled fresh. Very comfortable bed and clean bathroom. The housekeeping staff are exceptional and you can see they take pride in their role. The location is great; next to the Texas Roadhouse is walking distance. Was not disappointed at all!
I recently stayed at this Marriott hotel for 11 days while on business from Florida. My experience was truly exceptional, as the staff were incredibly generous and accommodating. The evening staff member who handled food and drinks in the lobby was particularly impressive. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in, and I travel extensively, spending around 180 nights a year in hotels. The property was immaculate, and my room was spotless. I have no criticisms of this hotel; it was outstanding in every way.
GGuest UserIt was the night of my 50th birthday. The room was GREAT! I HAD A ROOM IN THE CORNER WHERE YOU COULD SEE THE OHIO RIVER BUT I GOT IN REALLY LATE SO SLEEP WAS THE FOCUD AND THE BED FELT GREAT! ROOM WAS VERY BIG WITH SOME SEPARATION TO THE COUCH AND TV AREA! LOVED IT. BE MINDFUL IT SAYS RIVER VIEW ON THESE ROOMS BUT NOT ALL ARE!
GGuest UserExcellent hotel, very well located. The personnel super kind and always eager to help. The administrator also super kind and customer service oriented. The breakfast was super good. The rooms amazing, super clean, big comfy beds.
Overall it was an amazing experience, super helpful, i’d go back again and again. Would reccomend with 5⭐️. THANK YOU!!!
GGuest UserI have been working in Evansville since October and have stayed at this hotel since I started checking in Sunday evenings and checking out Friday mornings. The front desk staff have alway been helpful and friendly. Hotel is very clean.
I booked a king suite which advertised a microwave, refrigerator, ironing board and iron and hair dryer. I got to the room. It had no hangers and only enough space to hang three items. Huge room, no clothing space. Also no microwaves as they said Hilton doesn't offer them so they took them out of every room even though it advertised a microwave. It had a desk but no chair. Only a round footstool to sit on. The location's okay but I'll never stay here again. False advertising with no microwaves and I'm here for 4 days. It'll be a Hilton hotel next month, so I'm not sure that it's going to even improve.
Llovetravel2This was a hotel that is in desperate need of a complete renovation. Upon arriving the lobby was dirty, first sign we should have found other accomodations. The front desk clerks were ok, not overly friendly, never a smile. The housekeeping staff do not know the first meaning of cleaning. Upon arrival, the room was not stocked at all, had to go down to the desk for mutiple items that should have been in the room. The sink did not drain, the toilet had a cigarette burn on it, with a sign beside it saying it is a no smoking room. Come on, how much does it really cost to replace a toilet seat. There were chips and cracks in the sink and tub. The shower rod was rusted, shower curtain very dirty and slimy. I knew better to walk around barefoot on that nasty carpet. The mattresses I think are the same mattresses they put in when this place was open, they are sunk in and not comfortable. Mutiple lights in the room did not work, it was very dark in there. Be warned there are no usb ports, not even many plug ins. The fridge was not working either, it was barely cool with it turned up as high as it would go.There was trash piled all around the hotel out on the grounds, it just looks like a run down place. The parking is horrible, they have a very small parking lot, you can park around back but trust me that is very sketchy looking, no lights or anything. The breakfast area was not really well stocked, it kind of made you nervous to eat anything with the way the rest of the hotel looked. I do have two good things on this hotel, the water pressure and hot water is wonderful. Also, the air unit keeps it very cool, which most hotel units do not. I can not recommend this hotel to anyone, do yourself a favor if staying in a choice hotel, do not pick this one.
GGuest UserNice clean hotel and staff was friendly even help me with directions and food and specially when I was forgot medicine they help me find the pharmacy to get my medicine and I threw up because I got sick and Housekeper came and clean everything for me thank you so much .
