GGuest UserLets see. The room has a phone and sits on the really tiny table. Only problem its a paperweight and doesn't work. Was a good one from the 1990's. (Good thing you have a cellphone.) The room had two TVs, one in the ”living” room which takes two remotes to use it. One to turn it on, the other to find a channel. To actually use the ”remote” you have to be within two feet of the tv which defeats the purpose of a ”remote” Also you might want to bring your own batteries just in case. The tv in the bedroom is similar and works best using the remote from the the living room, so enjoy the walk to get it. The unit has several light switch's, but some control nothing. Well maybe a couple of lights, but bring along a few bulbs as they may come in handy. If you want to cook, it come complete with a souse pan and a frying pan, that's it.. The range is a vintage 1990 electric, so plan your meals well. Coffee maker, is on its last legs but is available. Not exactly well stocked and has minimal silverware. Comes complete with Two forks, three spoons, and two bread knifes. Also two plates, two saucers, and three cups. Has a toaster, but watch it carefully, as it burns bread or bagels, The bathroom was clean and the shower was very nice. The sink and stand was very tiny with little to no room to put your items on when shaving or cleaning up. The hotel is in a nice area and secluded off the beaten path. Very close to a Walmart to pickup some of the missing things like plastic utensils. The beds were comfortable We were in the room on the second floor near the stairs. It seemed that was the location people liked to talk on their cellphones and also smoke, which was right outside our window. Recommendation would be to spend a little more and a different place.

Our room was very clean. As is lobby area and dining area. The breakfast was adequate for us as we only stayed one night passing through. The attendant in the breakfast area was courteous and kept everything tidy, neat and clean. The front desk attendant also was polite and friendly.

We stayed here two nights. The first after leaving Washington on a week's drive around Virginia, the second a week later on the way back to DC. It was a convenient stop which was the only reason we picked it. There is a poor choice of restaurants in the vicinity. I got a good night's sleep both nights. On the return night, the hotel was very busy with an Elks convention. The beds are comfortable. The AC was not noisy. Room and bathroom were clean. Though the bathroom needs refreshing. Especially the second one. Dove toiletries are excellent. The hotel does not offer complementary breakfast, so we ate at the IHOP across the road. I asked for a quiet room away from lifts and ice machines, when I booked. Both times the hotel took my request on board. The first time, our room was right at the end of a long corridor - perfect as it meant no passing footfall.

Room was clean and the location was safe and quiet plus close to multiple places to grab a bite to eat. Breakfast included waffles, toast, yogurt, cereal, oranges, juice, coffee, and sausage and eggs. Staff was friendly. We slept well, and enjoyed our stay here.

Getting past the aroma of ********* and the guest who just smoked it who then banged on his door and screaming ”police” to entertain his other friends, we finally got a room here after touring D.C. all day and were heading out of town, south through Virginia. The 1st room we walked into, we turned around and walked straight out. Unmade beds spoke volumes about this place, and we should have left at this point, but were too tired. Then, after complaining to the desk clerk who could have cared less about anything, we were issued cards for our 2nd room. Walked in and inspected the room. To our surprise, the beds were made, however, the sheets had not been changed from the previous guests, as indicated by the smeared makeup on the pillowcases, and the ”sheet print” left in the other bed after pulling back the covers. The supply of shampoo, conditioner and body lotion were not even the same stock that other Quality Inns use. Theirs here were much, much cheaper and of a brand I didn't even recognize. The maintenance in the rooms is horribly lacking and cleanliness deplorable. You can tell that someone had used a tool to pry open the door at one point previously, dirty and stained carpet, unchanged beds, mold in the shower area, etc. The breakfast we thought might be some redeeming quality about this establishment was even worse. You could do a better breakfast with the leftover food at a convenience store in a bad neighborhood. Here, the ”eggs” were cubed as to look like cut up pineapple. The ashen gray meat item was, well, I don't know what it was. The dried out looking potatoes also terrible. There was no fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, sweet rolls, bagels with cream cheese, nothing! I can usually pass on a bad looking breakfast if I can at least eat a toasted bagel with cream cheese or peanut butter and some fruit. None of that here. In fact, their bread was again, of a brand that I had never seen before, probably purchased at the gas station across the street. Cheapest quality coffee as well. Had been staying at Quality Inns all up and down the east coast, but this hotel chooses not to use the standard anything! When checking out, I was asked about our stay and I told him, the owner/manager I presumed. He over-acted on his shock & dismay at my complaints, as though he had never heard any complaints from anyone, ever. Also the same guy who had his family of eight living out of one of the rooms, no doubt. Handed me the bill and we were out of there. This, in spite of the glorious reviews online showing 4.0 and better, even on Choice Hotels app where we booked it through. Choice Hotels needs to do themselves a huge favor and go down there and remove the gold ”Q” from the green sign. Nothing about this hotel said ”Quality.” (This is my first one-star review out of hundreds!)

I have to say this was the nicest hotel I've been to in a very long time. From the staff being amazingly friendly and helpful to the absolutely cleanliness of the hotel is exceptional. The staff stays in top of keeping the hotel looking and smelling so nice. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice, clean, and quite place to stay . Thank you to all the staff...

The room was repaired, much better than many motels where stayed before.
From the downsides - there was a very dirty floor in the room.
We arrived late, it was necessary to lay down the child's sleep, so did not ask for a washing again.
From the pluses - there is breakfast, though very scarce (coffee/tea, juice, yoghurt, cake, musli).
