We are repeat visitors. Just enjoyed a great weekend with our grandgirls. The rooms are spacious, very clean, a d well equipped. Excellent breakfast. Indoor pool. The staff is great - always welcoming and attentive. Always an awesome experience.
Location next to the road is the shopping center to know food. Easy to live, the staff is polite on the 2nd floor with elevators up and down, next to the hotel is the restaurant can call food at any time
I was looking for a clean, safe place to stay during a recent trip to the area as a solo female traveler - what I found was anything but that. Check-in took forever (more than 30 mins). When I finally got to my room there was hair in the bathroom. Ew. It was late so I wiped it up and moved on. There was also still garbage in the can. When I pulled back the covers to the bed there was HAIR IN THE BED. It was midnight but I wasn't going to sleep in a dirty bed. I called downstairs and told that someone would come with clean sheets. 60 mins later I called again when no one had come - it was now 1 am. I was told ”they will get there when they get there” and the person hung up. Finally the manager on duty showed up with a sheet that had holes in it. I had to wait another 30 mins for her to return with a clean set of sheets. By now it's about 2 am. She then lays into me how this is not her job and she is the manager on duty and that I should be thankful she came at all. ??? I'm sorry what? She launches into a tirade in my room at 2 am. I asked her to leave a few times citing the late hour and she would not. My husband heard the entire exchange as I had him on the phone. I asked for the manager to call me the next day - no one ever called. I called every day I was there and no one ever got back to me. During my stay I observed: urine in the elevator, garbage in the hallways, questionable guests of guests coming and going at all hours down the hallways, questionable things going on in the parking lot at all hours and a lot of noise. The room itself was filthy beyond the hair in the bed and bathroom. I checked in at night in daylight there was a thick coat of dust on various surface and a used bandaid on the desk chair (ugh). These were things in plain sight. Management contacted me after my stay only when I complained to Marriott. They refuse to take responsibility for their employee's behavior or the concerns I relayed re: cleanliness.

The hotel had just been renovated. I arrived in New York during the peak tourist season. The cheapest accommodation in Manhattan was US$700, not including parking fees. I found this hotel, which was convenient and priced at US$170.
The Hamton Inn Paramus Hotel is 30 minutes away from Manhattan. The family was satisfied because we could use a relatively new hotel at a much more reasonable price than the city center of New York on a weekend with a lot of travel demand.
Stayed 2 nights. Hotel staff is very friendly. Building is CLEAN. Rooms are clean, bedding is clean as well. The furniture is in good standards. Quiet place, near many malls and about 30 minutes from NYC. Would definitely stay again when in the area. Free parking.
The hotel is in New Jersey, so you need to take a bus to get to the hotel. The service from the Indian guy at the front desk was really good. When we checked out, it rained heavily, and the guy at the front desk sent us an umbrella. If we couldn't find a place, we sent him to the BUS station.
I was in town for a 5 day business trip. I cannot compliment the staff enough. Each staff member greeted me with a warm smile and hello with every interaction. There were a few minor issues with my room, but I attribute this to the renovation process that is taking place. Upon check-in the front paid careful attention to my listed Bonvoy preferences and met each without hesitation. The vibrant vibe in the lobby sets the stage for a comfortable stay. My room was on the 9th floor. There was a loud group that went in and out of rooms (slamming doors) during the night and kept the volume of their music and tv very loud, but the comfortable bed helped make up for those disturbances. Overall, I have stayed here on 2 other occasions and would stay here again. The updates have really helped the place. I hope new doors and key readers are in the plans for the continued improvement of the facility. I expect the property to continue to improve. Give the staff a chance to welcome you as a guest.
The hotel is located in the suburbs of New York. The room rate for our Saturday stay is more than double that of New York City. The room is big, the bathroom is small, and the facilities are very old. Especially the quilt is super bad. I didn't sleep well, but because we were going to New York City, we were afraid of traffic jams, so we went out after 7:00 in the morning
