Excellent
GGuest UserBest Western Sonora Inn & Suites was the perfect and most convenient location from the border for my scheduled Global Entry appointment with the Customs & Border Protection agency. Front desk service was excellent, and check-in was seamless and efficient. I had requested for a specific type of room in advance, and it was accommodated to a tee. Breakfast was hot with a wide selection of pastries, yoghurts and fruits. The room was large, clean and had the usual Best Western amenities I expect, to include a microwave, refrigerator and fast internet. I would definitely stay here if I'm back in this area again.

BBrian Michael HMy colleagues and I stayed at HIE Nogales for four days while working at the border. I didn't have huge expectations other than good sleep, but I was pleasantly surprised. This hotel was spotless, the rooms were perfect, and the staff was more than attentive. I received a nice upgrade as a Platinum IHG member. This hotel felt more upscale than it was advertised. We were pleasantly impressed! Ironically enough, I had booked a more upscale hotel in Phoenix to book-end this trip around flights, and I was much more pleased with the HIE at half the price. Nice work, folks. Keep it up!

Very Good
We had a one-night stay before heading across the border into Mexico. The hotel is very near the Mariposa Crossing, and is much less expensive that many of the big names that are closer to the Interstate. The room was clean, single queen bed, laminate floor...nothing special but we were just looking for a quiet place for the night while not charging for our two small dogs. This is a busy intersection with much semi-truck traffic, but the noise quieted down by 10:30 or so. Many food options nearby, locally owned places, and mainstream franchises. We had chicken from Pizzapolis across the street. Very good.
