Outstanding
GGuest UserI was in the area looking at universities with my son. Having stayed in a couple of hotels that were expensive on the way to Boston (but were hugely disappointing) I couldn't spend hundreds on another night and feel the room wasn't clean, was tired/dated and yucky. So coming into Boston, I struggled to find a hotel that was really nice for less than $500 per night.
The Encore was one of the best value places I could find and so reluctantly, I booked. I am so thrilled I did. It felt like incredible value for what we got and a real treat after being on the road for a few days in very average places. It was clean, large, well considered and was a fun place for us to lay our heads for the night. We didn't take part in the ****** (I didn't realise it was a ******) but we had a fun dinner and enjoyed the property the next day too. Highly recommended!
GGuest UserThe two women booked a twin room but were given a king-size bed room. When adjusting the room, the communication with the manager was not smooth and the attitude was bad. The hotel is very far from anywhere and the three-day transportation cost several hundred dollars!!!
AAnonymous UserCan walk to Harvard. Very satisfied with the hotel, there is a kitchen for cooking, the bathroom has underfloor heating, there is a big supermarket next to the hotel, the breakfast is very delicious, I have recommended it to several friends, and they are all satisfied
GGuest UserBeing very grateful to Mike who helped us solved the issue we encountered at the hotel promptly and efficiently. Big thank you to him for his professionalism and dedicated service to the customers. His assistance made a huge difference in our comfort when staying in the hotel.

Excellent
DDarburaPros:
New Yorker first time driving to Boston, so i need a hotel that provide parking. This hotel provide free and pretty safe parking in their basement which is excellent for interstate driving travelers.
Beside free parking, this hotel also great for sightseeing Boston via public transportation. There is a bus stop right across the street. Bus 77 will go straight to the Red Line Harvard Station. You can transfer to Red Line and go straight to the city. Or you can transfer to Bus 1, which will take you to nearby Boston University and Newbury St. From Newbury St stop, you can transfer to the Green Line at Hynes Convention Center Station. There are a lot of attractions right on the Green Line for you to explore.
When you are done with your travel, u can take Red Line or Bus 1 back to Harvard Station, then transfer 77 and it will take you back right next to the hotel.
This hotel also provide free breakfast in my booking. The breakfast is nice but will be better if it can last to 10am during the weekdays. (6-9weekdays, 7-10 weekends)
The room is not bad, pretty big with table, kitchen, refrigerator, sofa, two tvs and a bed. The room I have is pretty clean and I do not have much to complain. The hotel staffs are nice too.
Cons: The mattress is not too hard or soft and is comfortable for me. However, it is little too noisy when you try to move or turn.
The bathtub is slippery when you step in it, especially where there’s water in it. I have to grab the pole tight every time. The hotel need to address this issue for safety.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is very big, the rooms and beds are spacious, and the price/performance ratio is relatively high. It takes about 25 minutes to walk to Burlington Mall, and 10-15 minutes to walk to a small business district with Starbucks and clothing stores. Both western restaurants are very good. You can make reservations on Yelp in advance. You can go to the surrounding towns to play, which is not far away. It usually takes about 10-30 minutes to drive. The hotel breakfast is very rich at $25, the gym is also great, and the swimming pool is also good.
GGuest UserA little far from the subway station, but the surrounding environment is great👏🏻 It's especially good for running and walking! It's very convenient to walk to MIT, and it's also great to walk to the opposite side to watch the game👍🏻
GGuest UserThis place has a perfect convenient location right off 95/128 - great for a business traveler - it's a bit older and has kind of seen better days but it's clean and neat and situated on a lake (very quiet!) and 60 seconds to nearby restaurants - Chili's nearby does a great takeout hamburger and fries...overall, I would definitely stay in this place again as it's great value for the money and so many places in the Boston area are so totally way overpriced these days...
GGuest UserSo impressed with my experience at this hotel. Room is so clean, there’s a free parking garage, and it’s calm and quiet. Will definitely love to stay here again. Rooms are large and the bathroom is more than sufficient. Highly recommend it!
JJill BurkeI was very impressed that the hotel room also had a kitchenette. I wasn’t expecting that. The room was very clean and inviting. The hotel staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay there again!
