We visited Peabody on New Year's Eve for both the VIP party experience and a 1-night stay (12.31.24-1.1.25). It was also our 16th wedding anniversary! While we managed to salvage our evening and have a decent time at the NYE event, we must say that our entire check-in experience was awful. Hubby was stopped and carded at the door upon arrival, and I received incorrect information from the moment we attempted to check in. To top it off, we received a lot of attitude from the front desk crew when working to sort things out - and the manager on duty physically pushed hubby in an attempt to restrict his movement! It was almost a whole, hot mess, but once we were settled in, we definitely made the most of our evening, but why were we treated so terribly - on entry and via check-in - in the first place?? We've traveled the world, and we have never - anywhere - experienced anything like this. Just plain awful.
The location is very good, the surrounding environment is good, quiet, the top floor observation deck is very good, you can look at the Mississippi River, you can see the bridge marked 'M'. The restaurant on the top floor is also good, you can go and taste it. There are no convenience stores and shopping malls around. It is more convenient to have a car or rent a car. This is the case in the general cities of the United States. It is very inconvenient to have no car. There are some snacks (popcorns and the like) in the hotel room that can be enjoyed free of charge. The hotel room is ok, but we live in a suite with an outdoor deck that can go out and enjoy the exterior. The terrace is large and connected to the next room. There is no problem with security. All the platforms need to be swiped before they can enter. There are leisure sofas on the platform, but there are more dust on the sofa and coffee table and the ground, as well as spider webs. The hotel is located in a large outdoor goods store. The interior decoration is very special. Some real animal specimens, birds, deer, etc. can be seen everywhere. There are also some introductions to the origin of the hotel, which is very story-like. I like to enjoy life in the American country. There is also a battlefield in the mall. There are guns and ammunition on the second floor. On the first floor, there are various mountain bikes, there are various fishing gears and swimwear, and a The harbor pier has a lot of local fish in it. There is also a city called Memphis in Egypt. The shape of this hotel is designed as a pyramid. From the second floor, it is designed as a hotel room along the inner circle of the pyramid. The room will look like a log cabin, plus The decoration of animal specimens is very interesting. The middle part and the first floor of the pyramid are shopping malls, restaurants, bowling alleys and shooting clubs. The top floor is the observation deck and the steakhouse. The hotel is relatively new, the room is relatively large, that is, the windows of some rooms are facing the indoor shopping malls, the shopping malls are exquisitely arranged, and the view from the room is also a scene. In short, to travel to Memphis, this is a place worth living.
I had an amazing experience with receiving stellar customer service from Frederick. This young man help me navigate through a mix up with the company and he never lost his patience while we were going back-and-forth to get to where the error had occurred. I know to some, it may appear that he was just doing his job. But compared to many horrible customer service experiences I can honestly that Fredrick operates in a spirit of excellence and I benefited from that.

Strike 1. Upon arriving there was alot of debris (rocks or little pebbles) at the threshold of the room. I recall thinking “this isn’t a good sign”! Strike 2. Upon opening the door I learned I was right. The ottoman was literally positioned in the middle of the walkway to enter the room. We commented “that’s odd”. It’s like someone didn’t finish cleaning the room is what we surmised. It was late so we just went to bed after flying all day. Strike 3. Only to find ourselves jarred awake by the alarm clock that wasn’t reset. Strike 4. Can’t get back to sleep so I take a shower only to find the shower gel completely empty. I mean not a drop had been refilled. Strike 5. So I was forced to just use face soap and saw long strands of hair thst clearly wasn’t ours on the vanity and strike 6 If that wasn’t gross enough found the same hair type in the shower. And checkout isn’t until 11 yet the maid entered our room at 10 and her response “just checking if you had checked out”. What kind of ghetto crap is that? I think it’s a ploy she used to rush people to checkout. So that was strike 7. Strike 8. I forgot my slippers at home. Walked to the nightstand at the double bed nearest the door to find something sticky under my feet. So the carpet had not been cleaned in a while. And lastly the front desk agent Denetra didn’t allow me to use a different credit card upon checkout. So that was Strike 9!. So suffice it to say I was not at all pleased and was outright disgusted by the lack of care that was taken with room 513. I won’t return here. And I will let others know to not visit this hotel because it’s clear the rooms aren’t cleaned to a standard or a checklist. And we know this has to be correct else there wouldn’t have been so many obvious issues pointing to support the argument that maybe our room wasn’t cleaned at all and maybe the bed was just made up from the last guests in the room. What a dirty sick thought to even be forced to think.

Stayed here as part of a tour, it's located about a 20-minute walk from Beale Street in a business area of town. Room was nice enough, pool outside looked a bit ordinary, staff were friendly, except service in the bar which was very slow. Biggest downside for me was that we stayed for three nights & my room wasn't cleaned once! Very disappointing
The room is gorgeous. Bed is so comfortable (although a little high for me t 5ft 2). Slept well great bathroom. Lacked in towels. Loads of hand towels, but when asked a staff member for some towels she said she could only find 1 large towel. No daily service to yr room, unless you request it. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast not worth 15 dollars. Little choice, cold and over cooked . Plastic spoons? Overall a shame, the rooms are gorgeous, but he lack of staff interaction and attention to services is inadequate. I wouldn’t stay here again

Excellent
Over the past 1.5 years I have stayed at this hotel 3 times. While the rooms are consistently clean and the general staff very friendly there are two particular issues I have. When travelling the fitness centers are important to me and yet each time I have stayed here the elliptical machine has not worked. The second time I happened to meet the General Manager (Annette?) who promised me she would follow up and if it did not work the next time she would comp the room. Lo and behold it had the same exact issue as the prior two times and was unusable. She was not in until 10am so I wrote her a note and gave it to the front desk clerk who promised to pass it on to her. I reminded her of our conversation, gave her my email and cell and go no response; not even an apology. Given this lack of follow through and false promises I will not stay here again and would advise anyone who cares about working fitness equipment not to do so either.
Fairly new hotel; very clean; easy parking, although a little pricey; every member of the staff was very friendly and accommodating; buffet breakfast was OK; great location, an easy walk to Beale Street; we felt very safe walking to Beale Street..
KKhowajaIncredible experience. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The things that need improvement is the carpets on the hallway and in the rooms have stains. Additionally, the quality of toilet paper they use is very low.
GGuest UserThe check in process was fast, the front desk staff was good and professional. Easy parking, in quiet neighborhood, inviting lobby, clean hallways. Great hot shower temperature, clean beds. Had following issues: 1. WiFi did not work and the hotel insisted we called the toll free number provided by them ourselves to solve it, which I believe it's the hotel's responsibility to provide easy access WiFi and resolve technical issues on their end. 2. General Manager, Leslie Mitchell, would use more active listening and empathy, rather than came across as defensive, unresponsive, careless about the customers. 3. No hairdryer, nor extra roll of toilet paper, nor complimentary bottled water upon arrival of the room. 4. Shower head had water pouring toward the further wall across, would be better if properly position to have water flowing right in the middle of the bathtub/shower room or towards the interior wall away from the shower curtain/outside. 5. obvious carpet stains, and door stain as well as fell-off paints. Sheraton is known to be a reputable hotel chain, and haven't stayed with Sheraton for a long time, not a good experience, especially with bad attitude and poor customer care from the general manager in this location.
I stayed here earlier in the month with friends. Two things dragged down my review for this hotel. First while at the hotel, they were out of a few condiments at breakfast and the attendant was out of that area socializing with other hotel staff, leaving it in need of resupplying. The other was after my stay. As a HH member, I was eligible for a points bonus which was running this fall. For some reason, the hotel gave me the bonus points for my stay, but NO points for the actual money spent at the hotel. I will have to call them or HH to get the points for the rate that I spent while there. Annoying!
BbrownsugarbrownsugarI such and amazing stay the hotel was nice clean the staff was amazing when I come back in town I will definitely stay here because I was so at home and the staff was helpful and sweet to us so yes yes yes I will be back
GGuest UserThe staff were very nice but in our first room, which smelled like car air freshener, a large area of the carpet near the AC was soaking wet; there was no phone or fridge; and, the clock, which did not seem to have any way to change the time, had the wrong time. We were allowed to switch to another room but it had water under the desk lamp—again no fridge or phone, and an unsettable clock with the wrong time. Also, the coffeemaker made the coffee taste like mold, even though I had rinsed it first. We were allowed to upgrade to a room with just one bed that still smelled like air freshener but had a fridge and a phone. However, as we rested and unpacked, a very large cockroach joined us. They tried to help us get it out but it got away. We were supposed to stay a week, but checked out. As we were leaving, I saw that the cockroach had moved to the bathroom.
AAlisha MThe outside is not all appealing but when you get inside tour room, it's nice. The staff is not all that except for the one black lady, she made us feel welcomed, she joked and spoke every time she saw us, the other staff members, they just looked at us and didn't part their moth. Lol It served its purpose for us when we went. We went for a lakers and grizzlies game. It's like 15 to 20 mins away from FedEx Forum. I would rebook here again.
GGuest UserThe hotel was so bad I walked in went into the bathroom and walked out. Bathroom was dirty had hairs on the floor and dirt in the toilet. A metal frame look like they belonged in a prison cell. And there were bedbugs you could visually see on the beds. We stayed in that room for five minutes walked out and never walked back in

Memphis Zoo
乐乐天的静This is a great zoo! I have visited zoos throughout the country and Memphis Zoo is one of my top five favorites. It is beautiful and amazing, I have never seen so many active animals. The display is very large and has lots of natural habitats. A unique feature of the animals exhibited at night, you can see animals in their active turf at night. Bats fly everywhere, great. Hippopotamuses are very active in their large pools and great to watch. The venue is large and beautiful. We walked 6 miles on our tour. There were buses or trams but it didn't run during our tour.
