My only issue was the insane and erratic behavior of the overnight manager named, Todd. We were in town this past weekend for a hockey tournament in which we had downtime and late night games. The one evening I notice my 14yr and his two friends being spoken too by this adult male. When I ask what was going on, he says they can't be running around the hotel which they weren't doing, and he tell me he is going to call the police if they don't go back to their rooms which I laughed at. This person never identified himself until I asked him who he was. He then tells me he is the manager and his name which was Todd. I take my kid to our room which ended the night. I find out the next day other parents experiences the same thing only to find out one parents child had taken property taken from them which a father had to take their property back from Todd. I let the front desk know of this interaction and how angry I was the next morning when checking out, only to find out this Todd person is leaving this property on Wednesday. I guessing he didn't care what his behavior caused since he is on his way out. Hotel was clean and the front desk was nice.
I've been here with my company for over a month, and I really can't wait for this area to be done, and GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE. Nothing has gone right since the start. Breakfast(was consistently late for the first week until I complained)consists of bagged frozen eggs, cold sausages, stale cereal, pancakes(bagged),and machine always glitches. I've been looking at a dirty breakfast line every day. The same pancake batter on a mat for a week. Disgusting. Found a diabetic syringe in the lobby bathroom too. Up over the sink. Housekeeping is LAZY and do the bare minimum. This last check-in did it....used soap in my room, and shower wasn't clean. Toilet had dry urine on it.Im Not complaining and hoping for changes anymore. Staff ARE friendly-especially the late night Spanish lady, she's a real sweetheart, but most are lazy. I've picked up numerous trash/coffee cups, and a Walker were discarded and left for 3 days-until I picked it up....I shouldn't have to. No one picks up. I wouldn't reccomend this place just yet. It does have potential. Needs either new management or new staff. Very disappointed especially when my boss is spending thousands of dollars since being here. By reading replies from management, it seems that it is robotic and monotone. The same line or close to it over and over but with no improvements. Not a happy hard-working customer.
Very very dated hotel, furniture, carpet everything. The 1st room had varnish sticking to our luggage & clothing bcoz we initially didn't notice it. The leather on the dining chairs was frayed & peeling, sofa & carpet was dirty, bathroom had mold & bathtub seemed like would fall apart. We called for change of room & the 2nd was stinking from the previous occupants food but didn't have fresh varnish staining our things so we chose but still had bathroom mold & weird bathtub. The dishwashing scrub was not sealed & liquid was half used, so didn't use them but utensils needed a clean. Luckily I always carry my personal dishwash liquid & scrub. The pullout bed was very uncomfortable & clumped so that kids refused to sleep so 1adlt +2kids had to manage on the double bed & the other adlt somehow managed to toss thru the night on the pullout. It was a worst 2day Marriott experience & we are Platinum elite! Approach to hotel is not convenient either. Not the hotel's fault but on Google map looks like it's at intersection on 495 & 290 with a convenient ramp access to both but no! You have to take the exit then drive back for 2 miles towards the intersection again. All in all, The hotel is in desperate need of renovation! Don't stay till then!

Courtyards tend to be consistent so I don’t typically comment unless there’s something interesting or unfavorable to share. I had a two night stay at this property. Overall, it was clean, the front desk staff was helpful and friendly, and the room was recently renovated. The pros: newly renovated, friendly, helpful, front desk, staff, and essentially what you would expect from a courtyard. There’s plenty of parking but we couldn’t find any doors from the parking lot into the hotel at least where we parked so it was an inconvenience as there were downpours during our stay. The cons: the toilets are so low they’re practically on the ground no joke, so seniors and others with limited mobility are going to struggle. There’s about a 4 inch gap between the bathroom vanity and a short wall next to the toilet. If anything falls in that gap it’s very difficult to retrieve. The lighting in the room and bathroom is harsh, all the fixtures have the cold blue very white light. The water pressure in the sink and shower wasn’t good. Be advised: they offer breakfast, but it’s ala cart not included in the room rate, and the room is serviced every two days not daily. we recommend Jake’s diner for breakfast, just a few miles from the hotel. It’s a local place with friendly service…not fancy but very good.
2 of 4 elevators that had been inspected 2 months before were out of service (the technician was coming Wednesday - what one was never detailed). The bathtub drain backed up and spewed black gunk into the tub - four requests for maintenance were ignored but when we left, they thought maybe they would take the room out of service. The daytime staff was indifferent, the young man in the evening was personable and tried to be helpful. Once you leave the shiny lobby it is outdated, dirty, and badly in need of plumbing repair, ceiling repairs for the moldy water leaks. You get the picture. However, the free breakfast for some reason is very well done, great choices, and a pleasant helpful staff.
This was a decent hotel for most to stay in for a few nights. I thought the lobby was nice, the front desk staff were nice, and the rooms were not bad. For the room: The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was nice with a decent shower, the desk had a nice set up, and the TV had some good channels on it. I did not check out the pool area due to lack of time but it looked decent as well. My favorite part though was he continental breakfast. I enjoy the large spread of breakfast items offered such as: Muffins, Bagels, Toast, Cereal, omelets, oatmeal, sausages, and the great waffle bar. All great stuff and both of the staff on that did a wonderful job. However, the not so good things regarding this hotel overall were: Pillows were too fluffy to get comfortable, yes there is a such thing. Pillows should be like boobs, not too soft, not too firm, but in the middle enough to review a good level of comfort, the tub in the showers not big enough, the TV did not provide enough channels, no liners in the trash cans and there was numerous stains on the carpet that looked like blood and some even looked like semen. Needless to say, I work my footwear every all the time while in the room. the pool room did looked like it did need an updated, the coffee station wasn't available at night time, and the items at the snack shelf and fridge/freezer were a bit overpriced. Overall, this was a good hotel but nothing high end. I am not sure if I will be provided the opportunity to stay here again. However, if I do, it would be nice to see the changes made. Thank you :)
Great place to stay, conveniently located next door to Fore Kicks. We stayed here in June of 2023 after doing a ten state tour and ending with an event at Fore Kicks. They have the best indoor pool of any place we stayed. The water was heated and warm. The way a hotel pool should be. The rooms were clean and the staff was great. The only negatives are there is no free breakfast, there is a paid restaurant that we didn’t have time to eat at. And, they charge $10 for parking. First time I’ve ever paid for parking at a hotel that wasn’t in a downtown type atmosphere. Didn’t feel like I should have to pay for parking there, felt like a money grab, but not that big of a deal. They had nice laundry facilities on our floor and I was able to go home with clean clothes. Would stay here again for sure.
We stayed here on our way to a Boston cruise. We checked in using our Hilton app and digital key card. I had chosen room 356. It was a corner 2 room suite with 2 queen beds. The hotel is built into a hillside. The third floor of this wing exits out to a parking lot which was convenient. They have a reception starting at 5:00 pm which had some snacks and complimentary soft drinks. We asked about beer since that was always available at other Embassy Suites we have visited. We were told that Massachusetts law did not allow free beer. For dinner, we took a short walk to a Longhorn Steakhouse. In the morning, we went down for breakfast which was good. We had a comfortable stay. The room was very quiet being at the end of the hall The hotel is convenient to plenty of dining and shopping options and is very close to I-495. Overall, a good visit.
I don't understand all the 5 star reviews. This is a standard Fairfield Inn (I've stayed in many) and had it not been for a lack of acknowledging my Platinum loyalty status I probably would rate it 4 stars at best. I checked in on a VERY quiet late Sunday afternoon and was surprised that my app didn't list a room upgrade in advance (it always has at other Marriott properties I've stayed in.) when I inquired about a suite upgrade I was told there were none available despite there being SEVERAL available on the app to reserve for that same night. (lack of housekeeping was the excuse...really??! ) I did use a reward night for this particular reservation but according to Marriott's policy that shouldn't matter. To add more insult to injury, I got a room with a view of an ugly rooftop. My consolation prize was a tiny bottle of purified water and a small bag of chips, an afterthought as I was heading toward the elevator after check in. I stay at Marriott properties because as a Platinum Elite member I get perks for my loyalty and room upgrades 95% of the time even at high end properties like the Newport Marriott and Albany Renaissance. I feel like I wasted my rewards night as I could have chosen among other hotels and enjoyed an upgrade.
