The hotel receptionist was not welcoming, just ignoring people who come in the hotel. I was with a friend and have waited more than 3 hours just to be checked in_ just sitting in the lobby, this lady wouldn't give any updates as to when our room is going to be ready, when i asked the manager what time will the room be available she just said, ”what to do we dont have any rooms available,” and wouldn't give a timeframe and was even told ”excuse me, we have a line” when we were not even finished talking to her to get rid of us. we did not wait for that long just to be kicked out that way, that was very rude. I tried to get their names, but they both covered it and hid their name plates, and this spanish manager rudely handed calling cards of all their superior employees and told me to call them. (no offense to other spanish people,i have spanish friends but not like her). The receptionist name was Shawnees.
Just checked in today for an extended stay for a summer internship. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful, especially Romello! Smooth process to get checked in, nice, well appointed room (studio suite Queen), kitchenette has a good supply of pots, pans, silverware, plates, glasses, and cooking utensils. No nonstick fry pans and no oven, but has a microwave, toaster, two burner electric stovetop, and small coffee maker, as well as a full sized dishwasher and fridge. Pull out sofa is nice for the occasional visitor. Looking forward to checking out the complimentary breakfast tomorrow morning. So far so good!

The room structure is unreasonable, and the bathroom shower can't be fixed. Service and breakfast are OK, the gym is small, there is no equipment, the key is the smell. There are a lot of equivalent hotels nearby, it is not recommended to choose this, it is a relatively poor Spring Hill.

After arriving to BWI at 4am from an overseas flight I called HI BWI Airport hotel first, but they were completely booked. I called 6-7 other nearby hotels with no luck. When calling hotel #8, I received a call back from Teshiya asking if we still needed a room. After 2 days of traveling, we were so thankful she called back when she found a room. The shuttle arrived and took us to the hotel so we did not have to sleep in the terminal. Both shuttle drivers, M&M (night shift) and the gentleman (day shift) whose name I cannot remember, were very friendly. We were given late checkout so we were able to sleep an extra hour. The room was dated but it was clean and very spacious. Breakfast started at 6am and had good options. So close to BWI with a shuttle, good breakfast, nice employees, and decent military/gov rates. Would definitely stay again if flying into BWI.
The room smelled like mold. My pillows smelled like mold. If I hadn't been treated so poorly when I (finally) complained, I would be satisfied and happy. That's not what happened though. I arrived at the Hilton Garden Inn BWI around 9:30pm, plugged in my computer, unpacked a couple of things, and went to the restaurant across the street. I couldn't find anything decent, so I came bad to the hotel, picked up a mediocre salad, and retired to my room. The room (Rm 139) smelled musty. By now it was going on 10pm, and I had to be up at 4am for a 6pm flight. Changing rooms would be a hassle, and maybe it wasn't so bad. I ate my salad and watched a little tv. It still smelled but it wasn't terrible. Eventually, I climbed into bed and layed down. The pillows smelled bad - like really mildewy. I laid in bed for 15 or 20 minutes. It was really bad. Got dressed, packed up, went to the front desk. Told the fellow at the front desk that my room smelled terrible - mildewy - and that I couldn't sleep. ”I can't move you. I don't have any rooms that aren't more expensive. If you want a different room you'll have to pay more for it” I explained that my room smelled like mildrew and that he needed to move me. ”Did you tell anyone at the desk earlier that your room smelled bad?” I was stunned. No - I hadn't; i didn't want to be a problem and moving would be a hassle, but now I couldn't stay there - it was a problem. He repeated that he couldn't move me unless I was willing to pay for a more expensive room. He must have told me I needed to pay for a more expensive room three times. Eventually I said you can't leave me in a room where I'm sleeping on mildewed pillows - that's a health hazard. ”There's no health hazard in this hotel. Why didn't you complain earlier?” Now I'm pretty angry. I say, ”Because I didn't. Are you saying I'm lying? Why on earth would I come to the lobby at 12:30 in the morning in advance of a 4am shuttle to the airport making up lies about mildew?” He tells that he doesn't know what I might do and that he can't do anything unless he can have someone come check out my room. ”When?” I ask. He can't - won't - tell me. I say, ”I can get you a pillow - you can smell the mold for yourself.” ”Fine,” he says. I leave to get a pillow, which I bring back to the desk. He sniffs it. ”Do all the pillows smell like this? Is this the only one?” I tell him that yes, all the pillows smell like that. I am relieved; a new room is in sight. Now he just stares at me, unconcerned. ”Sooooo?” I say. ”I have to get someone to check out your room.” ???????????? ”When?” He shrugged. ”Can you ballpark me? 10 minutes? 15 minutes? an hour?” He shrugged, then, ”I called him. When he gets back.” ”Is he on the property?” I ask. His response: ”I don't know”. I take a seat in the lobby. Five minutes later a different fellow comes over, and we walk to my room. I open the door and he sticks his head in. ”It's bad,” he says. ”Let's go.” Back at the front desk, the n
I looked at all the BWI airport hotels carefully before booking, and decided that the Westin was probably the best. Now having stayed there I'm pretty sure I was right.
The place is clean and modern, with a spacious lobby and updated design in the rooms. The blackout curtains are some of the best I've ever seen: I woke up at 8:30am convinced it was still the middle of the night. The bathroom has a great shower, was clean and fully stocked with towels. Really everything I could have asked for.

JJIAN XINGThis hotel has no breakfast, $18. It doesn't matter, but the black waitress is a bit low.
CCompro BolitaThe people who provide the airport pick-up service have no idea about customer service. They brought me and a man together. They did not emphasize throughout the trip that it was a favor that we had no right to ask for anything. The man began to insult us and the same thing happened. with the other boy who was even more aggressive with us, the truth is that the service leaves a lot to be desired
GGuest UserStayed many hotels in marryland but this is the best soo far based on price, very close to airport like 10 mins. Rooms are very nice and clean they do have housekeeping services which is amazing as i always request HK services but never ever receive it from other hotels , Breakfast do not have too many options like 3-4 items basics but very reasonable price $10-$13 Amazing pool, decor, front desk is fast and professional. Its a big hotel located in a very peaceful area, while from your room you will see many flights taking off and landing which is amazing !!
GGuest UserQuite good, staying at one o'clock in the morning, the bed is a big decoration and a little modern. The downside is that the breakfast at the restaurant was very poor. I walked two blocks to eat breakfast. Suitable for temporary stay for one night
GGuest UserYou know that experience when you notice something wrong with a hotel room and you think, ”Oh, that's no big deal, I can live with it,” so you unpack and get settled? But then you notice another flaw, and another, and another. That's what happened to our family at this hotel. I noticed the chip in the enamel on the bathtub right away, then later the hole in the wall by the towel rack that was never repaired, then the missing bar on the security door lock, and finally the lack of a stopper for the bathtub drain (this time I went down to the front desk to get one, none available, was told to use a washcloth). Are all the rooms like this? Not willing to take a chance, will go to a different hotel the next time we need to stay near BWI.
GGuest UserI arrived at BWI at around 11:40pm and rushed to call the shuttle from the hotel as they informed me earlier that if I didn't call by midnight, I'd
be on my own to get a ride to the hotel. I was stressing as it was the first time I ever traveled alone. I called them at 11:50pm whew!! but plenty
of time before 12:00am. So I thought, first they put me on hold... then hung up, next call... No answer and hung up. Now I'm spazzing.
Finally a shuttle will be there in ...15-20 mins huhhhh?? so there i am standing alone at midnight by myself ( a 55 yr old woman)
half hour goes by... I call hotel again and not easy for someone to answer. Oh the shuttle got full I was told so they have to send another one,
REALLY so another 15 mins go by no shuttle, half hour later, I see the shuttle, here it comes....and flys right by me as I'm screaming STOP!!
around she goes, 10 mins later she's finally here at 1:15am and then says she's been there. they told her DOOR 15 I said I was at
LOCATION 15. Mad before I even got to hotel, once there..a cooler full of sodas to buy and not one DIET soda..I'm going to bed.
No blanket? just sheets I was cold so I went to front desk to ask for a blanket, Sorry their locked up, heres some more sheets.
In all fairness they looked to be very short staffed. and the room was clean but not worth the price
GGuest UserI am a 19 year old software engineer who verified the check in age at this hotel by phone with the reservation number and the hotel directly as 18. I went to check in and the clerk told me it was 21 and I had to convince her to let me stay! Ridiculous! It's also hard to get a seat on the airport shuttle. I had to pay both ways.
MMartin DeckardThis was my first stay and because my partner was using a walker I called the hotel in advance and ask to see if I can get a first floor and they were very accommodating very pleasant and really enjoyed this day the room was exquisite.
LlgwxyrThe hotel is not far from the airport, the room is not large and clean, especially like this couch in front of the window, the room has coffee maker, microwave. Breakfast is a decent American breakfast, and there is also a fast food restaurant not far from the hotel. The hotel has a parking lot, and there is a shuttle bus to the airport. You need to make a reservation in advance from the airport to the hotel, and he will tell you what gate is at the airport and so on. Reservations from the hotel to the airport can be made upon check-in.
CClimber63457913931The stay was lovely, loved the coffee which was included. The place was clean and very close to the airport, and McDonalds, taco bell and bunch of restaurants. Enjoyed the stay. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Economy hotel you can stay if you're on budget
