Overall the hotel is very nice. A little disappointed in the parking situation. Twice had to drive around in 2 separate lots to find parking in self park. Upon greeting, there was no staff to offer to bring up our luggage, so we schlepped our luggage to the room ourselves . The ”Spa” was not so much a Spa but a massage parlor. There are separate amenities for men and women. Just one small hot tub and steam room in women's locker room. Far from a Spa. Other than those issues, the room was very nice and big and the hotel itself has a nice ambiance. Nice pool options but could be more umbrella seats at the pool that actually provide shade. The breakfast buffet was decent, but definitely not worth $35 a person. Overall liked my stay, but those little things could have made the experience 5 stars
I am setting a one-bedroom villa with sea view, the hotel facilities are very good, and it is also very suitable for a family vacation with children. As you can see, you can book the scenery in Ctrip. You can see the sea by the window, and it is blocked by the leaves. Sight, a room cost of nearly 6,000 yuan a day, oh... The room is very dark all day, no black light, giving a 5-story room, 6-story or above is very good, beautiful Kaanapali beach
My family and friends stayed at Marriott's Maui Ocean Club for 5 weeks over Christmas, New Year's and into mid- January. We had one unit for 3 weeks and 2 units for a week each. All of our rooms were clean, well maintained and functional. The staff was very helpful as we changed rooms and they stored our groceries for us. The hot tubs and community kitchen were closed due to covid which is understandable. The beach chairs were socially distanced and cleaned quickly after people left. The staff was always friendly and ready to help. The best example of this was Marynor, she found my new pair of sunglasses which I must have lost getting out of the car in the parking ramp and turned them in. I was thrilled to get them back because I figured I lost them and whoever found them would keep them. This was my 7th stay at the Marriott, my favorite place to stay on Maui and I will definitely return. Mahalo to the Maui Marriott team and especially Marynor for another amazing vacation.

We had a brief but really fun stay here at the Westin Maui Resort and Spa. We were warmly greeted by the sweetest staff member, Megumi. She heard that it was our dream one day to stay here and for our 16th anniversary we made it happen, and she surprised us with Leis! It was incredible. The staff here are attentive and kind and so welcoming! Michael with Maui Gold pineapples made sure to tell us all about the resident HUGE fish in the Koi pond, a cousin to the piranha, whose name is “Mitch”. The kids loved the fun facts he shared, as well as offering us some of his delicious Maui Gold Pineapple and some chocolate buckeyes he generously shared with us. The lobby had our complimentary coffee for guests from 6-9am, and a fun flamingo (yes, there are FLAMINGOS!) and koi feeding at 9am. Upon arrival we were also given two complimentary tickets to grab a cocktail or mocktail at their poolside bar. There were other complimentary offerings as well that we did not take advantage of. The kids spent most of their time on the waterslides. Poolside seating can be difficult to find if you arrive later than 10am, but if you’re patient and keep an eye out, a space usually opens up. The location can’t be beat as it’s directly next door to Whalers, which has great shopping and restaurants that are beachfront. Awesome snorkeling at Black Rock is a short 5-7 min beach walk from the hotel. We were really happy with our stay! Our room faced the mountains and we had a gorgeous view of the sunrise. There are private adult only hot tubs (one infinity sand bottom!) and pools as well. Water bottle filling stations are found on the lobby floor. Excellent choice for families. $35 self park fee or $45 valet.
The environment is not bad, it is cost-effective, very close to the mall, no parking fee, very warm, a welcome necklace is sent as soon as you enter the door, recommended. And there is a refrigerator, microwave oven, suitable for supermarkets to buy things to live
The hotel is indeed very old, the decoration style of the 80s, the color of the carpet can not be seen dirty or old, the safe has to charge, parking 14 knives a day, a little better can stop at the door, the supermarket to buy things directly back to the room is very convenient. The room given was not bad. I could see a sea view. It was great to see the stage and watch the show every night on the balcony. The room is not small, the maintenance is normal. I have cleaned it several times in the middle, gave a tip, cleaned it cleanly, and left a small note of thanks. The hotel has performances from 6-9 pm every night. It is more exciting on Friday. It has a local hula dance and performance. It is very good. It is super boring at other times. Several American aunts dance in American Square. The hotel’s own restaurant tastes good and the price is good. Sleeping late did not eat the hotel's breakfast, but there is a canteen, there is a coffee sandwich burger to sell, the price is OK, very convenient. Belonging to the first-line beach hotel, it is a beach, the location is very good, next to the Sheraton, black rock snorkeling a lot of fish, you can see turtles every day. The beach is really very good, the water is clear and the sand is young, there are not many people, watching the sunset is super beautiful. In general, the expensive hotels sold by Kaanapali are justified. The fish that I spent 2000 ocean snorkeling saw no more black rock.
This is a very good hotel.
1. Ocean view is beautiful.
2. Close to Black Rock Beach.
3. The swimming pool is large and relaxing.
4. Within 5 minutes on foot to the nearest shopping center
5. All staff are friendly.
6. Rooms are a bit old but clean.
7. However, it is a pity that the breakfast menu is small.

The location is OK, the hotel has a shuttle bus to the shopping center, about 7 or 8 minutes drive. But you can't walk, there is no sidewalk on the main road. The service is normal and the facilities are a little backward to be difficult to understand. As a four-star hotel, you don't provide toothpaste or water. You also need to buy it yourself. The convenience store of the hotel is not open 24 hours a day. It would be very troublesome if you did not rent a car. The overall hotel in Maoyi Island is much more expensive than other well-equipped islands such as Oahu Island, and things are not complete. I would suggest that considering renting a home will be more cost-effective.
