The airport is close, it is convenient to eat around, there is a large supermarket, you can walk there, it is clean, and it is cheap in Maui. The hotel can go directly to the beach, very few people, very comfortable. Drinkable hot water and ice water are provided. There is a communal laundry room and microwave.
Hotel service: I arrived at the hotel at 9:30 in the evening. I didn't want to make a fuss after playing in the big island for a day, so this hotel is next to the airport. The transportation is convenient, but the fly in the ointment is that it is a bit noisy, but it is expected, so it can be ignored.
Setup: Didn't work, just took a nap and left the next day.
Food: There is a Starbucks in the lobby, which has no special features, but there is a food truck yard outside the parking lot, which has everything, you can consider eating there.
It's a decent hotel with no frills. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean but worn out. There isn't really a beach and sorry if odd people hanging around. I think people live there long term in one section. The restaurant and bar were closed for a private party so we ordered Doordash. Beds need replacement as you sink into them and they are uncomfortable.

I don't think I have met more unfriendly staff than at this place. As well, upon check-in, I asked the staff on duty if where I was parked was okay to leave the vehicle, and he checked, and said 'absolutely' (parking is a bit challenging, and I wasn't sure where to do so; it was also quite late - middle of the night). When I checked out in the morning, I found two parking tickets on my vehicle. This could have been avoided if I had been given correct information (there were no signs saying I could not park there). The bed was brutally uncomfortable (sagging, broken springs), and there were no pillowcases on the pillows. The air conditioner unit was broken. This place is also exorbitantly priced for a hostel, even for an expensive location like Maui. The bathrooms were clean and pancakes were delicious. The common area/lobby was clean and attractive.

Lumeria Maui is our most favorite Hale to stay when we visit Maui. Their upcountry location is perfect for a central location to explore all of Maui. This nature inspired meditative retreat is at the steps of so many things to do, and the entire staff will bode with tremendous suggestion. Candice, Brandi and Char are the most friendly and professional house staff while Preston, Shane, and Kyle provide comfort breakfasts every morning of your stay. You will be very well cared. Please avail yourself to an Energy session with Brooke Howsley on Friday mornings and find a Sarah Rothman Hatha class during your stay for sure. Enjoy!
The hotel on this island is estimated to have breakfast, because the scenery is better, so you need to drive yourself around to buy food, the breakfast is very rich, you can bring it back to your room to eat, the hotel is a two-story wooden house, separated by a road from the beach. There are a lot of people watching the sunset, the scenery is beautiful in the morning, the holiday is very suitable, the hotel has its own small yards are all plants, and there are toys for public children on the beach. Very relaxing place to stay for a night or a few days. And ease.
We are HGV owners and this was one of our options for a time share. At first glance, this resort did not look as appealing as the ones we had used in Oahu or the Big Island. Once there, however, we quickly realized it was just the right balance of space and facilities. The pools were great, many in number, varied in depth and some for adults only. We never had an issue with over crowdedness, which we found was the case on the other two islands. The suites were spacious and comfortable. Well-kept public spaces and lobby areas. The staff were helpful and fixed the one omitted request quickly. We had a 2 bedroom suite with full kitchen. It was great for 4 people, 6 would have been stretching it as there were only dishes and flatware service for 4. The King bedroom had a huge bathroom. The 2 double bedroom had a smaller bathroom but serviceable. Too bad we put one person on the King side and 3 on the double side. They were opening another villa in a matter of days as we watched them clean up the construction zone. My only complaint would be that there was not enough parking. If we returned at the later hour, we had to look to find parking. This was before the new villa was opened. There is further development happening adjacent to the property, which I'm sure will have parking, but there was no new space added in the immediate. There was an elevator on one side and stairs on the other. I would have preferred the elevator closer to the lobby side as that's where most people parked. I had issues with stairs and the final day, we had to use the elevator because of luggage and had to go all the way around the villa to get to our car. The location of this resort is perfect as it is across the street from the beach but also accessible to the main highway quickly. Being further south would necessitate driving through some traffic. As we planned to cook several meals in the kitchen, we were happy to find a 24 hr Safeway about 10 mins south, which came in handy the first night we arrived. Costco, Walmart and Target would serve us the following week and they were only 20 mins away. An enjoyable stay. We will come again.
I loved our stay! It was quiet, relaxing, and the sunset every night was beautiful! Check in/out was quick and easy. Plus free parking! There was always an available space, however, some nights you may have to park farther away from your unit if you arrive later in the night. I read that some are upset about not having room service however, they start you off with everything you need and more and there’s a washer/dryer in your unit. BESIDES! Everything is made known before you book your stay so if you decided to book it anyway and then complain that you shouldn’t have to do laundry on your vacation… that’s on you; I personally wash clothes on my trips wherever I go anyway so it doesn’t bother me.
