This place is a hidden jewel. It's recently been updated and decorated. Price is amazing and the staff are very friendly without being bothersome. Location is phenomenal for getting to Midtown, Atlantic St, Downtown, W Midtown, Ansley area and S Buckhead. I've stayed several times in the past 6 months and i will be back soon.

I has such a wonderful experience for my special day Abigail was so professional and gave me tips of how l should utilize the resources of the hotel . She is truly a gem . I also had a great experience with her team mates Angie and Sean. I had invited a few high profile guest list to share my day and they were all treated like queens as well. The price is not high, the hotel is expensive, it is better to live in a five-star hotel farther away, because Atlanta can pass through the city elevated, so it is very convenient to live anywhere. Hotel service is very good, friend room air conditioning is broken, directly upgraded the room type

It was a very pleasant experience staying at Kimpton the Shane. Home keeping was done everyday. Nice toiletries were provided, replaced as requested/required. We were there to visit the city but it also could be a nice spot for staycation as they have a lot of options of room service along with a bar and restaurant attached!

Great location is this hotel’s best feature. Suites are spacious with full kitchens, but the property shows its age. Furniture, bathrooms, hallway carpet and paint all need refreshing; even the exterior looks tired. The 2-bedroom suite we reserved wasn’t available when we arrived, and we were split up into two 1-bedroom rooms (one free); this was quickly remedied the next morning. One of our showers only got warm, not hot, but the other worked well. I would stay here again, but I wish there weren’t so many disappointing small things.

I’ve stayed at Marriott chains all over the country & this location has the worst customer service & staff by FAR. First of all the security for the hotel attempted to hit on me during our first interaction but I kindly turned him down bc I am married. Very unprofessional when you’re at work! Secondly upon checking in the room, there were stains on the curtains, couch and a cigarette burn hole on the bar stool. No seats for the balcony or any privacy on the balcony. The kitchen could’ve been cleaner & the sheets on the bed were not the correct size, there was a mattress cover but no fitted sheet. We didn’t even complain! The real issue came when we were woken up at 8:30am by security BANGING on the door like the Swat team. He literally woke me and my daughter up and was at the door telling my husband that we were smoking and that he could smell it and that we needed to leave the property and would be charged a $500 fine! I immediately told him that we were not smoking and that we smell smoke too and my husband had an incense burning to block the smoke smell from getting to my daughter. We are not tattle tells so we did not care to call downstairs to make it an issue, it was easier to light the incense. We literally travel with these incense bc sometimes there are pet or smoke smells at some of these hotels. The security guard seemed to not care about what I was telling him so I told him not to come back to my room without a manager. He came back twice WITHOUT the manager, said the manager was unavailable and brought a luggage cart telling us we needed to leave or he was going to call the police! I told him to call them bc I was not leaving without a refund. He kept lying to his manager on the phone saying that we were refusing to leave but not telling him what I was saying which was COME BACK WITH YOUR MANAGER. The security guy was extremely rude & aggressive and needs to be FIRED. The manager FINALLY came up to the room 20 min later smh and when he did I offered him to come inside and smell or take a look bc we had nothing to hide. He said he could smell smoke but not tell what it was and I informed him we had an incense burning. He asked us to put it out and said that we couldn’t burn incense or light candles at this hotel. That was my first time hearing a no incense or candle burning policy from Marriott. He told us we were fine and to enjoy the rest of our stay without even addressing the rude behavior from security. I told him we would be checking out immediately and calling Marriott customer service for a full refund for being woken up and harassed. I called customer service as I was checking out to file a complaint and ask for assistance with getting a refund. Well here it is a week later and the hotel STILL hasn’t given me a refund or returned my deposit! Customer service team said the manager said he would not be returning my funds so I’ve escalated it to

The front desk said that many people smoke on this floor 😅... The hotel only has a small train next door to the airport. It is not very convenient if you have a lot of luggage or it rains.

GGuest UserI arrived at the Aloft Marriott Bonvoy Hotel early on Friday, February 17 and was greeted by General Manager, Chris Spears. Beautiful, European style lobby with bright colors and open spaces. Angel, front desk clerk, assigned me to Room 218. Carlos, housekeeper/maintenance worker, loaded my bags on a cart. I gave Carlos $10 (ten dollars). We proceeded to the elevator. Carlos had my room key. I gave him my car key and asked him to park my car. There was a bad order in the room I thought was from Carlos. Carlos brought my car keys back. I sprayed the room with my Lysol. Smell was not noticeable in the bathroom. I went downstairs to the bar. Returned to room. Got undressed and got in bed. The smell was in the bed. I fell asleep and woke up coughing violently around 3am. Juliana, 19-year old night auditor, agreed to change me to Room 216. However, she was the only person working and she couldn't leave the front desk. I had to stay in the smelly room until Dominique came to move me at 7:30am. When Dominique came to Room 218, she said, ”I SMELL IT!” Dominique rushed me out of Room 218 to my new Room 216. Dominique helped me to my car so I could drive to Wellstar North Fulton Emergency Department where I tested positive for COVID-19. Today is Day 10 of being infected with COVID-19 at the Aloft Marriott Bonvoy Hotel in Alpharetta GA. My case # is 429 646 235. Marriott Corporate has escalated my case to risk management and the legal department. Chris Spears, General Manager at the Aloft in Alpharetta is 28 years old with only 5 years with the Marriott Corporation. He's not trained to run the Aloft Hotel. The bartender is also 28 years old. It appears Chris Spears has hired his inexperienced friends to staff housekeeping, bar and his friend JP at the front desk. I expect Reparations for what the incompetence of Chris Spears fid to me at the Aloft Marriott Bonvoy Hotel, 7895 North Point Parkway, Alpharetta GA.

GGuest UserThe hotel is good, but I really want to comment on Ctrip here. Most of the US trips about this month were booked in Ctrip, and there are quite a few real problems, but it is more worth mentioning that Ctrip's services. 1) It is easy to make a call. No matter when, the call will be answered manually, instead of fooling you like a lot of customer service machines. 2) In Ctrip booking hotels, air tickets and other layers of protection, there will be problems Ctrip will solve, do not have to go and negotiate with those who speak English. People in different countries will encounter various problems, but as long as they are in Ctrip, it is good to call them. Although the ordered products will have unexpected problems, such as this time actually booked a hotel that is not open, but Ctrip has actively changed to a better hotel. Although it has caused inconvenience to myself, it is understandable that I think Ctrip is so far away. 3) If personal losses are caused by the inconsistency of the information on the website, Ctrip will pay the indemnity and will arrive soon. Ctrip's quality service makes our trips very safe and we don't have to worry about problems. Suddenly I found that many companies in China have done much better than the United States. Ctrip is cheering and supporting you.

GGuest UserI'm not sure why this hotel has subpar reviews at best, because I had a positive experience from start to finish. Was flying through Atlanta on a connection with Delta and missed my second flight due to the first being delayed. As it was the last flight of the day Delta offered accommodations for the evening. There were quite a few locations I could have chosen from, but chose the Holiday Inn as I know they offer free breakfast in the morning. I ubered to the hotel as I figured it would be easier than trying to find the hotel shuttles. When I arrived, I was greeted promptly. I offered my Delta voucher and there was no issue. I quickly got to the second floor to my room. It was late so I went quickly to bed. The bed was extremely comfortable and I slept well. The next day, I couldn't get a flight back to my destination until nearly 5 pm. I asked the hotel if I could check out late and they obliged offering 1 pm checkout which was welcomed. I had to work so I was able to do that from the comfort of a hotel room rather than the busy airport. When it came time to head for the airport, I took the shuttle. It was a quick and easy ride. I believe they operate with another local hotel. Although I hope to not be stuck at the Atlanta airport again, I would stay at this location again in a heartbeat. Thanks for making my unexpected delay in Atlanta a little more pleasant.

GGuest UserThis Hotel is in a great Location. The front desk staff are meh. Not very friendly. The Breakfast is pitiful, sausage sitting in a pan full of grease, I know sausage is greasy, but I’ve never seen it served sitting in a pan full of greased. So not appetizing at all. The first day the French toast sticks were stuck together and half cooked. Fruit bowl never refilled. Charging $15 for that is insane!! I will say the Breakfast attendants are sweet and helpful. The parking is ridiculous, I have to pay $45 per day for an attendant to go park my car 50 feet away. That’s just taking advantage of people. I should be able to park my own car instead of being rushed out of my car trying to grab all my things, shopping bags, etc. Hallways are very loud throughout the night. Ghetto guests allowed to say the worst cuss words and talk any way they want to loudly in front of other guests and Children. I finally had to say something to this one girl. This is a family friendly Hotel as the Aquarium, Coke Museum, Centennial Park are all located within walking distance. Hotel staff shouldn’t let crap like this happen or continue. Good luck if you need towels, an extra blanket, or whatever, Housekeeping doesnt clean or replenish anything and that was on my third day. You have to call and ask for it, but the phone doesn’t work in the room and I had to use my cellphone to call the front desk. I had to go get it myself and the guy couldn’t get into the linen closet cause someone locked the door and they didn’t have a key. He had to go to an open room and get it from there, SMH. I paid over $200 a night to stay here and I’m very disappointed. Won’t be back. Will go stay at the overpriced, outdated, Westin instead and pay for an Uber to drive me and my family to where we got to go.

GGuest UserI have stayed at many IHG hotels, including Holiday Inn. I have stayed at new, old, and renovated properties and have had positive experiences. I stay at Northlake hotels when I am visiting family. I choose this hotel because I am familiar with the brand, and it offered the lowest rate by about $20. I felt like I found a great deal. From the outside, the hotel is a standard, pleasant hotel, although the palm trees out front were kind of suspicious for Atlanta. Lobby looks okay. But after check-in, things got worse. One was not allowed to use the rear entrance to the building; thus, one must walk to the side or front entrance. Elevator looks poorly maintained; hallways were dark with harsh fluorescent lighting and had that really strong ”old building” smell. There was also the smell of pot (and I don't have a problem with it, but I do when I'm in a hotel). As for the room, it had that old smell, the hutch for hanging clothes look well-worn and scratched up. The couch was well-worn. The remote didn't have the battery cover. There was hair in the sink. In the morning, the water didn't drain out of the bathtub while showering. That was the last straw for me. I checked out two days early. I understand those are a lot of negatives but let me stress some things. First, the bed was new and very comfortable. Second, the staff, from the receptionist to the maintenance crew, were *very nice* and *accommodating*. Any request I made was met, and everyone was genuinely proud and happy to be working there. I just wish the hotel physically was as pleasant as the staff. And even though the hotel has been renovated, more needs to be done. As for now, this hotel should not be flagged a Holiday Inn.

YYINGClose to the airport, the surrounding is relatively deserted, there is a restaurant on the upstairs. The food tastes good. You can also sit in paradise and enjoy the plane taking off and landing. The environment is good, but the bills are always unclear and always overcharged. There is a Vietnamese restaurant driving around for 3 minutes, and the price is good and affordable. The room is large and the facilities are basically complete. However, for two consecutive nights, people knocked on the door inexplicably. It is not clear who it is, and it is impossible to open the door.
