No carpet. Love that. Bed comfortable, extra towels so I could have one for my hair. They have a little 9 hole golf course that looked great but we didn't have time. Mexican restaurant right there. Nice to walk. Plus fabulous food and they were the included breakfast restaurant!! My husband says we have to make this spot fit into our plan next trip.
We were surprised at the old logo and signage at this Comfort Inn, but it was easy to find and we had a warm welcome. The room was good-sized and we liked the unique sink (see photos). After full breakfasts at other Comfort Inns, we were surprised at the bag breakfast offered (see photo). Once in the room, it was pretty obvious that a good handyman with a couple of hours was needed. But it was OK and everything worked. I noted the sign for those who take things - we see these in budget hotels, but not Comfort Inns. Obviously it's been a problem. We needed dinner but the town only has three fast food places - Burger King and Iceberg are close and I think it was a Carl's Jr. at the other end of town. The room was clean, comfortable and the AC worked just fine. Good plug-ins available and the refrigerator had a small freezer and was cold. The pool was not open, but would be nice once things open up. Overall, it was a good night, but nothing special. As this location worked out on this trip, I was pleased.
