We only stayed for one night on our way to the Cascades Loop. One can tell that the property is quite old, but it is very well maintained. The room we had was clean, the beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was standard for motor hotels.
As a Best Western Diamond Select member, I've seen my share of various hotels. If you manage to find this gem hidden within Wenatchee, you'd be delighted with the value and the service this place has to offer. The breakfast and seating area is quite spacious, and the staff seemed to have been sourced from ”the sweetest people in America,” catalog. Although I've read various comments on street noise, I have not experienced such... and I am a very light sleeper. The Staff: Overall, the staff was extremely accommodating. David and Rebecca were very kind and helpful throughout my stay. If you happen to be able to run into Justin or Jay late at night, they never fail to brighten up your mood and make you feel right at home, and Barbara is the type of person whom goes above and beyond to exceed expectations. It's definitely a rarity these days. I'd give the staffing a 5/5. The Rooms: I've stayed in a King Bed room with a pool view and it was giant. ( Like 3 cartwheels in a row giant. ) Although the rooms feels a bit dated, it can be easily overlooked because of the value you get from the stay. The rooms were clean and extremely quite. It's a great bang for the buck. Comparing the value of this hotel to others in the area, I'd give it a 5/5 for the valley. It was a very pleasant stay.
We came for a basketball tournament and had time in between games so they were kind enough to let us check in early. So that was super nice. The parking lot is small. They needed to remove the snow in each parking spot. It was kinda hard getting your vehicle in a tight spot when you have to drive over a big snow bump. The carpet in the lobby and hallways definitely could use a vacuuming. The pool is SMALL! There was a birthday party at the pool so that was way too many bodies in that tiny little thing. There isn’t a hot tub. Our room, clean, perfect for my husband, my 9 year old and I. The downside. They didn’t refill the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Thankfully we usually have some spares in our travel bag. I am just getting over a cold so I tend to blow my nose more in the mornings. Blew my nose twice and now we are out of Kleenex. That obviously wasn’t checked either. The heater makes a strange clanking sound everyone it comes on all throughout the night. I am going to mention that to the front desk when we check out. When we were heading out for the day, I was waiting for my husband while I was sipping on my Safeway brand fizzy water. The lady at the desk asked if I wanted to charge it to my room. They don’t even sell fizzy water in their little cooler by the front desk. Would we stay here again, maybe. It was close to the school we were playing at. Have we stayed at nicer, yes. Off to have breakfast. The reviews were great on that so stay tuned.
Upon arrival, I thought I had made a big mistake choosing this location in the middle of industrial warehouses and railroad tracks. But, after a short look around after Checkin - I couldn’t have been more wrong. This place is a gem. The service at the restaurant and front desk is top notch and friendly. The hotel is beautiful with fantastic rooms. It is located on the Columbia River Walk and easily accessible from the hotel. You can stroll through gardens, sculptures, and shady trees as walk along the river. Plus there is a pedestrian bridge connecting the park (and hotel) to downtown Wenatchee. There you can find breweries, coffee shops, and restaurants. I’m a huge fan!

The room was as expected for a Motel 6, clean and well made. The grounds are filthy with trash, gum and cigarette butts on the walk ways, but thats been par for these motels. I can deal with it for the money. The part that I canNOT deal with is being treated with indignant, rude behaviour over a policy that is NOT noted with the booking agent I used. I was taken aback with this motel's unexpected $100 deposit, refundable if theres no room damage. I've stayed in other Motel 6's during these past few years and not once have I ever had to pay a room deposit. So, I (diplomatically) dared to question the policy and thats when the woman who checking me in told me she was going to just cancel my reservation. She didn't ask me if I wanted it canceled. She TOLD ME she was canceling it! This was late at night. I had no where else to go. She had me where she wanted me and I had no choice but to shut up and pay the fee hoping they would refund it without hassle. Fortunately they did and as an insurance I made sure to take pictures of the room as I left it. I understand their reasons for deposit based on other guests bad behavior, but her demeanor about it absolutely was appalling.
It's a older hotel. But rooms are clean.Beds are nice and comfy..New air conditioners.which works very good. Our room had vinyl flooring ,which I loved.Bathroom full tub/shower.goid water pressure .newer flat screen tv.fridge and microwave worked great. It was nice and quiet here.the staff are very nice and helpful.managers on duty are wonderful and super helpful. They offered a nice continental breakfast.Fresh maple bars, coffee, hot cocoa, tea, oatmeal, cereals, fruit,My husband loves donuts so he was there daily.:).It was our first time visiting Wenatchee and we really enjoyed it.We booked an extra night cause there is so much to do.We will definitely be back.It was our 29th anniversary and we had a wonderful time.So if you are ever in Wenatchee and want a clean, affordable hotel,be sure and check it out. :)
Hotel staff was helpful and friendly. Rooms and hallways were clean. Staff was always wearing a mask. The complimentary breakfast was lacking, as someone who doesn’t eat meat all they had was scrambled eggs, bacon and fruit cups (packaged in syrup). Bagels or toast would have been nice but I understand it’s a free service. Had to sign up for pool use due to Covid, so we couldn’t use the pool the first night but it was very nice to have it all to ourselves during our time slot we signed up for.

There were many reasons why my stay was unpleasant. The first was that the ice machine was broken and then was no alternative offered to me when I asked the staff if I could get any ice. the second reason is that the internet did not work at all. I had work to do on my laptop but could not get anything to load at all. There must have been a pet accommodating room directly above mine, because there was what sounded like a dof running around constantly during my stay from the time I got there until about 10pm, and started back up around 5am. The included ”continental breakfast” was just a Costco muffin and a tiny apple... very lame. The biggest problem I encountered though: there were big, long hairs in every single bath towel. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone ever. It was way too expensive for such a poor experience. serious changes need to be implemented at this hotel, or just be shut down. I definitely overpaid for this hotel and would feel much better with a price reduction... I was very disappointed in my stay and WILL NOT recommend any Travelodge by Wyndham to anyone. Knowing this is an acceptable standard from the parent company is shocking. I feel taken advantage of due to inaccurate descriptions (ice machine, internet, breakfast included) when the facilities/amenities were broken, did not exist, or were very sad attempts at meeting the expectations that were set.
