Find the Cheap Coarsegold Hotels

Stayed here with family because my mom said she use to enjoy coming here 15-20 years ago. I wasn't really sure, but relented. Our trip was really to go to Yosemite, so it was actually quite a drive (an hour) from the hotel). The hotel itself have very strict protocols when it comes to COVID. They take your temperature before you come in, as well as have to show your ID before you enter the elevator taking you to your room. The good? 1) The hotel room itself was comfortable with the needed amenities. It was clean, and the AC worked well. 2) Wifi was good 3) Nice views. The bad? 1) the check-in process. It really took forever. Not sure of the check-in person was inexperienced or what, but waiting for 30 minutes was not cool at all. 2) the security at the elevator checking your IDs. The security was very rude to a point that when I said hi or thank you, she didn't even acknowledge. I think she was just in a bad mood. She asked for my ID, and as I was fumbling with my luggages, she appeared impatient. When I showed her my ID, she said, ”put it down so I can see it”. I'm like whoa, this better be not a hotel staff. The other security guards were good. But I will not forget this particular one. 3) The smoke filled ******. And yes, you can't escape it, but it was so nauseating that I decided not to gamble.and head back to my room - hoping and praying it's not the rude security guard. 4) the restaurant. The Mexican place I wanted to eat at was not only closed, but with my elderly/handicapped mom walking from the hotel to the restaurant, it was a challenge. Not seeing any signs, we wasted our time walking there. It was closed. The Asian Noodle place next to it was good, but the wait was over an hour. The ugly? I would not come back to this place just because of that security guard. Gosh, she was really in a bad mood. That's the ugliest thing ever.

WIFI can not be used, asked the front desk, said that the equipment is faulty, and no one will manage it after two days. Breakfast is just like bread, waffles, coffee, and even ham and eggs.

Shower had obviously not been cleaned as there was the plastic protector from a disposal razor still in the shower and hair in the sink. Front desk was very friendly. Guests were disgusting. At breakfast a guy was sneezing, sniffling, blowing his nose and then touching multiple items in the food area with out washing his hands after blowing his nose.

This was by far one of the best hotels we stayed at during our road trip around the US. The staff were helpful, friendly and accommodated my request of being on the ground floor. The room was large and had a microwave, fridge and coffee machine. Upon arrival they gave us a little complimentary bag with snacks in it, which was a great touch! Free parking was offered and available right outside our room. Free hot breakfast was also offered and had the the largest selection of foods I've seen for free. It included sausages, eggs, muffins, bagels, waffles, juices, yoghurt, cereal and more. They have a seasonal pool which we unfortunately didn't get to use because of the time of year we went, but it looked like a lovely area and they also have free WIFI that works well. The location is great with beautiful views and there is lots around to do. We stayed here to be close by Yosemite National Park but to also stay somewhere affordable, which The Oakhurst Inn was. Whilst the room was clean, we did unfortunately find a pacifier/dummy under one of the beds which the cleaners must have missed from previous guests, therefore it would be good in future if they made sure they're getting all areas on the floor! It would be great if this place offered laundry equipment with an additional charge for the machines. If the pacifier/dummy had not been there and the laundry equipment was offered, I would easily rate The Oakhurst Inn a 10/10.

It was a nice experience. The food was really good at the restaurant and the service even better. It was obviously fully booked since it is the highest season for the surroundings, but that didn’t affected the good service and attitude of the staff. We were very satisfied!

The room is nice, cozy & clean plus the fact that it is affordable. We loved the sauna. Front desk staff & the one assigned in breakfast are friendly too. They are very accommodating. The only comment I have in the room is the round chair in front of the dresser, it’s not sturdy enough to sit on it.

Very close to the south gate of the park, it is very convenient to go to Yosemite. There are supermarkets and restaurants in the town. The price is not as convenient as the high price of domestic scenic spots. Go to Yosemite's ideal accommodation

The location of the hotel is far from Yosemite Park, about an hour's drive away. The hotel facilities are relatively new, clean and comfortable, the service staff is very good, and there are many types of breakfast. Compared with the accommodation near the park, the price performance ratio is higher
