The hotel is more than ten minutes' drive from Tampa beach, not very far. The lady at the front desk is super friendly, and the room is relatively big. Although it looks like it took a long time to decorate, it is very clean. There is an oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, etc. in the room, which is very convenient if needed. The hotel also provides free parking, which is quite cost-effective.
I am taking the time out of my busy day to share my amazing experience while staying at this Marriott. As soon as I arrived at my room 414 I realize that the blinds were open and I tried to close them and I couldn't! I tried to ask for help from any of the staff members and there was Linda and I asked her to help me with this issue as I was afraid I might damage anything. She was so hospitable and eager to help me immediately and she fix this issue for me. She cleaned my room to perfection and I am so grateful that she is working in this hotel and it's a valuable asset to this property. Since I was alone and didn't know much about the area both Michael Keating and Rob Williams were so knowledgeable and very helpful. Michael helped me with the trolley information and Rob took me to the beach very very early in the morning. Rob have the most positive attitude and he loves what he does. I could clearly see that he is the biggest star. His personality shines as big as his smile and he made me feel so safe taking me at the beach and bringing me back at the hotel. He made me feel as if he was my big brother protecting and keeping me safe. And to me safety means everything especially because I always travel alone. Cassandra was very interactive and gave me compliment about my shoes and even though I was not a guest at the restaurant she made me feel welcomed and she took her time to acknowledge me and I appreciate her so much. At last Samantha the front desk manager took her time to listen to all of my bragging about the great service provided by everyone above and wrote down everyone's names that I have encounter during my stay as well as being polite , understanding and so professional. From all my heart I thank each and everyone of the rock stars that made my stay so pleasant safe and I am so eager to come back again at the near future. I hope that everyone will be recognized by going above and beyond because they truly deserve all the recognition for all the hard work that they do everyday. Thank you.

The room is clean and hygienic, the environment is beautiful, and the beach is beautiful. It is very suitable for taking photos of the sunset. The only thing is that the price is a bit expensive.
We stayed here for 2 nights following a fun but exhausting Disney World Trip. This was JUST what I needed after 5 days of walking around Disney! We booked two rooms for our family of 5. We had a ”in-land”/city view, which was beautiful in it's own. I dare say there is no bad view at this hotel! The beds were some of the most comfortable I have ever slept in, at a Hampton Inn! Breakfast was good & simple each morning. As a diamond member, they waived my parking fee which was a nice, pleasant surprise as we did park on-site. We loved walking out the door and having our own private beach. Although it was a small area, it was private so it was nice. We stayed at the beach all day, and the water was warm & inviting. We had two manatees swim up to us one day, and it was really amazing! The fee for two lounge chairs & an umbrella was $20 per day, which wasn't bad considering you had it ALL day long. The sun was really hot, so we mainly used it for storing our drinks, towels, clothes, etc. It was worth the cost for some shade here and there. The pool area was nice as well to use after the beach and the water was equally as warm. We went to the bar in the evenings to have a cocktail and the waiters were friendly, and the wine selection was good. It was a nice outside area to have a cocktail. Everything here was very well thought out you can tell. The staff were nice and the property is VERY well taken care of for a beachfront property. I know how run-down beachfront properties can get with families that put a lot of wear and tear on rooms and public spaces, however this property is extremely clean & well taken care of! I will absolutely stay here in the future- it was a great first trip to Clearwater beach!
Was my first visit to Clearwater beach and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I was a bit concerned about our choice of hotel but it really exceeded my expectations! Valentina, at the front desk, was so friendly and helpful! We had a great view of the water from our balcony and the room was everything we could want, comfortable beds, cold refrigerator, and good air conditioning. We never had a problem with parking the car in the hotel (free) lot. We loved the pool deck, right on the beach. The bands at Shephards next door were loud but when we closed the balcony door it blocked the noise. Actually we enjoyed sitting on the balcony, listening to the music! Everything you need is in walking distance, restaurants, groceries, liquor store, and miniature golf. I wouldn't hesitant to book here again as it's a great value for this location.

Overall satisfaction, valet parking, clean room, balcony, sun and sea are very beautiful, downstairs is the swimming pool and the hotel's private beach, the hotel will open the nightclub at night, outdoor light show and super-powerful DJ, wine Also okay is not very expensive, cost-effective
The hotel is not very new, but clean and tidy. The pool and the restaurant on the first floor are very good. The restaurant has live music every night. It feels good to sit outside and listen to music while eating and watching the sunset. It takes about 5 minutes from the hotel to the white beach, personally feel very close, you can borrow beach towels at the front desk. There is a Kurig coffee machine in the hotel room, and the washing is Bath & Body Works. Overall, it is a hotel with a very good price/performance ratio in Clearwater. It would be better if the guest parking is free, now it is 25 knives per night, just go in and out.

Outstanding
Great place, Great location, Great staff, Great rooms. The staff we encountered were all great, they were helpful and friendly. The location was great, a really short walk to the beach and local restaurants. The facility was recently renovated and the rooms were very nice, very clean. I would definitely recommend and would definitely stay there again.
HheromoonI think the price/performance ratio is very high. Although the hotel is valet parking but the price is reasonable, 20 dollars in and out, breakfast is relatively simple, staying in the two hotels in Clearwater breakfast is relatively simple, but as breakfast is full and not unpalatable , Except for a few hundred meters away from the beach, everything else is perfect! High cost performance recommended
GGuest UserThe service was great. As many other reviewer‘s have reported, the motion sensor lights are sometimes problematic. But the front desk is very responsive. Also the ice machine on my floor did not work which is kind of a thing for me personally. But the hotel itself is beautiful and smells amazing!! While it is not directly on the beach, it is across the street and a very short walk. I would definitely stay there again. The only food I had there was at the outside bar, but it was really really good!
RRita2214Great hotel to spend your weekend or vacation! Comfortable big room, clean bathroom with all necessary amenities, amazing views! There are gim and coin laundry, cafe woth good breakfasts, lunch and cocktails. Friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay!
EEmilyWhile researching hotels, I visited this property a month before my arrival to make sure the accommodation would work for my purposes. At that time, I was shown a specific layout for the 1 bedroom queen beds configuration. The front desk attendant specified the description of the room that I should book when I made the reservation.
I made the reservation based on their information and the room I was shown.
A month later when I check in, I am given a room half the size of the one I was shown. I tell the front desk that it was not what I was told and I am unhappy with the room and I need the bigger room. The gas let me and told me that they had already given me the biggest room they had. I'm not kidding when it was literally half the size of the one I previewed.
I walked the front desk attendance to the door of the room I was shown and was assured that those rooms are the same size and they couldn't be shown to me at that time because they were occupied.
I had to cancel most of the event I had planned due to lack of space and lost revenue I would have earned giving a workshop to paying pupils.
Complete bait and switch. Avoid this property.
JJeremy AndreHoliday Inn has definitely upgraded their properties since the last time I stayed with them years ago! The suite was clean and spacious. The breakfast was the run-of-the-mill options with a few hot foods. I especially enjoyed the Dove products that are present in the bathroom and shower.
GGuest User Our super group of girls came to stay for a night to check out Clearwater. We opened our room door and the overwhelming smell of cleaner hit us. We had to open our door and leave it open for hours to get the smell out. Others would have requested a different room, but we roughed it out. They clean with Fabuloso cleaner, which is very strong. I saw housekeeping pouring a big ole batch into a bucket in the morning. Ugh. We went out to dinner at Salties next door which was good, btw. When we returned, the air conditioner had leaked all over the tile floor. We cleaned it up and carried on. The pool was nice and clean. There’s a great ice cream shoppe on the property. I had cookie dough! Yum. This hotel is across the street and down the block from beach access. The pillows were floppy, shredded junk, but the beds were ok. The shower was good, but there was no view from frosted window. Not sure if I would return.
GGuest UserThis hotel is a dump. The rooms look like something out of a movie about cheap **********s and their johns--old smelly carpets, broken furniture, door safety latch that was actually missing, bathroom fan like a Harley Davidson. There are so many better places to stay in Clearwater, and we wish we had. The last straw was that we were told to bring our dirty sheets and towels to the check-in counter because there wasn't any housekeeping service.
BBella BooStayed here for a little over a week. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Nice pool area. Location is kind of away from a lot of things but there's some nearby Latin Shops and a great breakfast place right next door. The room stayed clean and well stocked. Very quiet laid back area for reasonable prices. Pets are welcome and they even have what used to be a Dog park in the back behind the building next to an old tennis court. They are renovating right now as well. Breakfast in the front office was pretty basic...cereal coffee...fruit...danishes and yogurt. I recommend this place...new management is doing a great job. 🤗😁
