The room was pleasant, the location was very convenient for us, very comfortable setup. All that aside, the main reason the stay was so outstanding were two ladies that worked at the desk. To set the picture, this was in december of 22 just before Christmas, and our house got hit by a tornado. We have a dog, tough, house half roofless and broken, tougher, less then two weeks til Christmas get outta here. We were emotionally and physically ragged, then we got to the Holiday Inn Express in Chalmette and meet Charlane. Her warm friendly air immediately helped ease the tentions my lady and I were feeling. Amazingly helpful, extremely empothetic, funny, and demonstrated guinune concern for our well being and comfort. The other lady I meet whom also was absolutely fantastic was a lady named Racheal, she was working in the evening. My girlfriend and I both still had work as we both work in hospitallity and it was the holidays. Every time we interacted with these women it was over the top possitive, helpful, and most enjoyable. They were fantastic at a very hard time for us. I just found the paper I wrote their names on that I thaught I'd lost which is why I'm only now getting to posting this reveiw. Ive stayed at a few 5 star hotels, these ladies were on par with that level of excellence.

MMchoux2024The hotel is very clean and the breakfast very good. Neighborhood was good. I felt very safe there. The staff was friendly and polite. I would definitely stat there again. The television was a good size and the channel selection was excellent.
