Excellent
Everyone from the desk to the breakfast staff was amiable. Our room was comfortable and, as I requested, on the first floor near an exit so I could easily exercise my dogs. Breakfast was hotel typical. The bed was comfortable and there was lots of water pressure in the shower. It was a quiet and restful experience. I would stay there again.
The bed!!! 👍🏼 best night sleep in a hotel in a very long time. The whole property was lovely and we only missed out on the awesome gym because we overslept 👍🏼👍🏼 which was ok with us. Our room was clean and the parking lot was clean and safe. Breakfast was lovely too.
As the title says, this is a perfect example of the brand. Adequately sized, nicely furnished, clean room with no surprises and enough counter space to open two large suitcases. Breakfast as usual with plenty of food and drinks. Staff we interacted with was professional. QR code in room for tipping the housekeeping staff (first we’ve seen this) a plus.
GGuest UserCheck in went well. Our room was on the first floor, which is never our first choice, but we know that if that is what is available, then that is what is available. But shouldn't Spire/Diamond status allow us our preferred high floor? We like to avoid having to hear people overhead, and the people over us had a pretty loud fight the second night we were there. The suite was large and perfect for us for the 2 nights we were staying. The staff was friendly. The location is ok, close to the highway and you will hear trains. This is a nonsmoking property. The first night there, the odor of **** was really strong in the first floor hall...sigh...at breakfast on Saturday morning every unoccupied table was dirty. The staff were making themselves oatmeal, so we know they were there... Housekeeping for the rooms could have been better. The shower curtain was dirty and the bathroom floor behind the door wasn't clean. The bed felt like it had a well on one side. If it would have been softer that might not have been such a problem but it was really uncomfortable. Overall, the room we had is just tired. The toilet seat needs to be replaced. The mattress is worn. The fridge made a high-pitched noise all the time and the tv screen dims after 3-4 minutes making it difficult to see. We don't expect to travel back to the area. If we were going to do that, we would research other places to stay, even though we are pretty loyal to the brand. Hopefully other rooms are in better shape.
Stayed here for one night on our way to the North Cascades National Park. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We found some hair on the bedding, and the front desk lady promptly provided new sheet and pillow cases and help us changed. Lobby and dining area was nicely updated. However, this created a bigger disappointment when we saw our room which was still quite dated (fridge and microwave is brand new though). The staff told us that the owner is slowly upgrading the place. Breakfast was free but disappointing. We didn't even get bagel and cream cheese (based on others' reviews). Everything offered was sweet (pop tarts, yogurt, cereal, fruit jello...etc). We had to go to McDonald's afterwards. Perhaps this was why the room price was discounted. We could hear train noises after midnight. It didn't bother us but this is something that light sleepers should be aware of.
