We LOVED The Archer Hotel! So many little, well thought out details, the likes of which are normally found in more costly hotels. We were blown away by this boutique hotel right from the start - the inviting lobby boasts plenty of windows, brick, and an industrial chic vibe. You quickly notice the penny candy (on display adjacent to check in), the refreshing lemon/lime/orange water, the comfy chairs of all types and sizes, and the pool table if you're so inclined. The rooms, large, well decorated and very clean are filled with sweet surprises behind every door. From the complimentary oh-so-creamy caramels and Fiji water, the Nespresso machine complete with glass cups and saucers, to the robe in the closet and slippers in the bathroom, we were delighted with each discovery. Personally, the bed was too hard for me and my husband, but it was nicely adorned with plenty of pillows of assorted poof. Both nightstands had ample USB slots for charging our devices and the coat rack on the wall inside the door was handy and a better place for our coats than the bed! I absolutely loved the ceiling decor by the elevators...a collection of ceiling medallions in a blue-silver hue, as well as the color scheme in the hallways and room doors. We took advantage of a recent drink & dine offer, a $25 credit to be used at their AKB bar/kitchen. We ordered their classic breakfast sandwich; eggs, cheese, spinach, and tomato, with this incredible savory sauce served on a toasted brioche roll (I’m salivating as I type). Delivered to our room with coffee and tea, it was one of the most memorable egg sandwiches I have ever had! The location was good - close to the Burlington Mall and so may restaurants. 3rd Avenue is also host to a couple of eating spots, bowling and arcade, and Wegman's grocery store. If I’m going on and on about this hotel, it’s because I loved it so. We are hoping to try another Archer Hotel in a different city soon!
I have been staying at this Marriott for many years and can only confirm what many of the recent reviews have said. It has really gone downhill. On weekends there is always some kind of event, tournament or group in the hotel which can be a bit chaotic. The hotel has also been playing the Covid card for too long with limited services and amenities - no room cleaning, no hot tub, no restaurant service etc. I agree with others that the information provided on the website is unclear and you really take a risk going and not having what you’d like open and available. Even the lobby coffee isn’t consistent - again maybe only Mon-Thur. So as a weekend guest your experience is very much diminished. I stayed last year for Thanksgiving and it was so dark and quiet that it felt a bit like an abandoned hotel. We’ll be visiting the area again at Christmas this year and will try the Residence Inn down the road. I have heard good things about it so will share my views after our stay.

The hotel is very good, I have stayed several times, the breakfast is very good, the room facilities are quite normal, very close to the burlington mall next to it, not far from the Korean supermarket and nordstrom rack discount store, the best is to drive for 3 minutes. Sichuan is very authentic Sichuan cuisine.
#positive #I was happy with the Room Size; #negative #I was disappointed with the Value for Money, Toiletries; The room area is large, the layout is reasonable, the dining table and kitchen are conveniently located; the mattress is comfortable.
The room is cleaned less frequently, and the conditioner and body wash are never replenished.
There are few varieties of breakfast and the quality is average. Everything else is fine.
My husband and I were politely welcomed to the hotel. The parking lot was well-lit and easy to find using a GPS. We were acknowledged for being Marriot Bonvoy members, and the entire hotel was spotless and well cared for. Our suite was clean, and we were pleased about the space and could have a full breakfast in the morning. Everyone was a delight, and we look forward to returning.
I want to say that if ”No” stars should be an option. This place is HORRIBLE AND THE STAFF NEEDS TO BE SUPPORTED BETTER. First off we check in at 8pm on 6/13/2023 and we first complained that the room smelled like it was smoked out and had mold. There was nothing we could do that late at night. The manager Denis Villas told her staff to say she wasn't available for complaints for 3 days and she avoided us. By Friday morning when we checked out and decided to venture to Connecticut because the area was booked for graduations. Ashley told us we would be reimbursed for unused days and she would let Denis know that our room was even supposed to be booked because of the extent of the damage to the room. NO working microwave and only 1 eye on the 2-eye stove was working. The freezer was barely working along with the fridge and the bathroom floor was soaking wet from the shower and most of the floor felt unstable. The carpet was damp and smelly with some sticky material. I had to buy cleaning supplies to clean this room. We tried working with them we were stuck there and nothing was done. There wasn't a maintenance personnel available at all we were told. I have called customer relations to no avail and we were told that since we booked on their site and paid in advance we didn't qualify for a refund. This place is a SCAM! Stay away from this place I have stayed at other extended stays and moving forward this company will never see a red cent from me again. What a scam of a policy and lying staff members. It was only 2 workers (brand new to the company) who were honest enough tell the truth. Ashley was nothing but a lying junkie claiming her system was down for check-outs and that Denis wasn't available and we were told by the honest gentleman working there that Denis was right there in the office. They don't have any seating on the grounds and pool was cemented over and you will get locked out just to go out for air from the ”so-called” pool area. Stained sheets and dirty laundry machines this place is unreal.
Stayed at the Candlewood a while back for work, and I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was really delighted with my experience overall! Much better than anticipated for a two-star property. Everyone was extremely kind, from the front desk to the housekeeping, and I had plenty of space in my room. Beds very comfortable. Easy access to all surrounding areas. I'll definitely stay here again next time I return!
Bottom line: I stayed at this hotel for 5 days. It’s not great but also not terrible. I would stay again if it was only for a couple of days and it was less then $120/night. Some observations: The bed was old and squeaky. It was comfortable enough though. The pillows were of standard comfort for a hotel of this level. The tv cable system was utterly outdated. There was no guide function or even a paper that shows the stations and channel numbers. So you have to flip through channels one by one and changing a channel takes about 5 seconds to load. The decor and furniture was outdated but relatively clean. Some people on here mentioned that you should get a room close to the elevators if you don’t want to walk too much. But there are other entries all around the building that are locked. You need to insert your room keycard to unlock those doors. The problem though was that those outdoor card reader didn’t work about 70% of time. The buses: Apparently this is a very popular hotel for bus drivers. Tour buses are constantly parked all around the parking lot. It didn’t cause any real problems since the parking was so plentiful. However, having the buses constantly idling in the parking lot and coming and going all day long, it sometimes felt like I was staying at a bus station. The hotel is only a couple hundred yards from I-95. This caused some road noise at night. The solution to this problem is to turn on the Constant Fan feature on the AC as a sort of white noise (it’s not on the wall thermostat; rather you have to lift the lid of the actual AC to turn on this feature). The walls are thin. You can hear every time any neighbors flush the toilet, which was not particularly pleasant. The housekeeping was outstanding. It was provided every day, which was a pleasant surprise seeing as many hotels still only provide it every few days. They were very thorough in their cleaning and really did a tremendous job each day.
