I chose this motel because of it's location to the university we were touring. I expected better quality for the price they were charging. The evening clerk seemed like she couldn't be bothered to check me in. I was handed the room key, and the remote to the TV. The room was very small. The A/C was very noisy and it was either blowing very cold air or when it stopped, it was very hot. You also had to flip a switch to turn on the refrigerator. The queen sized bed seemed more like a double bed. I don't expect much from a continental breakfast - just something small and simple. The Americas Best Value Inn provided a gallon of milk, 2 kinds of cereals, packaged pastry and watered down coffee and watered down apple juice. I can see why they didn't have many guests or return customers. I will stay elsewhere, if my son decides to attend the university in Azusa.

Stayed here for 3 nights over Rose Bowl weekend. Very nice, two story hotel a few minutes off rte 210. Parked all three nights 15 yrs from main entrance. Room and lobby/ breakfast area clean and pleasant. Two suggestions- the shower water was not hot enough, even turned all the way to H. Interestingly the faucet at the vanity sink was scalding hot. Room 208. Secondly, there is no water at the breakfast buffet. There needs to be- most hotels have a container of filtered ice water with a spigot. Would definitely stay here again. Very convenient

The back of the bathroom door and molding was damaged I'm guessing by a dog The shower door does not open and close without slamming it and the shower door hits the towel rack on the wall I can't believe the glass has not shattered yet . My wife wanted to take a shower, turned the water on and water sprayed over the shower door and soaked are toiletries and bag. The shower head was loose. I tightened it and told the front desk about it.
