We noticed on first morning after first nights stay on our credit card a charge for 253$, when I called the desk, I was treated as if I was lying, the clerk began asking if we had eaten steak and salmon, I said no we ate at Troys. We had two drinks at the bar, but we used our credit card, nothing charged to our room. She told me an investigation would be done.
Of course later she called back stating it was a server error.
I would never stay here again, customer service is poor, and quality improvement is needed.

Room was very clean, including fresh bed linens. Bathroom and shower was spotless. The AC works great! Had to turn it down 4 degrees and still cool and comfortable. Our receptionist was extremely nice and made check-in very easy, even though we got in couple hours earlier than check-in time (3PM), so we went out for lunch and the room was prepared when we returned. Overall, a very pleasant experience. I would definitely return. Only reason not a 5.0 for value is the price I paid was much higher than online price posted for following weekend.
I stayed at the Arlington North location for 2 nights April 24-26th- 1st night I was checked in using my same card that I use for incidentals. I wasn’t informed about what kinda of card this location preferred. But I was told, after already having my card swiped and keys made, that the WiFi is out due to some storm damage. The next day I went to extend the stay, since the WiFi was out, I couldn’t finish my assignment, and needed the extra rest. Since I used a third party site, I had to make a whole new reservation for each stay. Which meant 2 separate incidental fees. I go to check in with the front desk and at that time I was told by Candice, That TownePlace suites don’t take prepaid cards, and she would have to inform her GM. From that point, I observe that there is no communication between staff or lack of training, however I explained to them my concerns and how that this information was new to me and how I felt about the situation and in turn shouldn’t be reprimanded by false information or lack there of. Consequently they were responsible for the miscommunication and honored the agreement. I was also informed that they don’t want people using prepaid cards as forms of payment because they take up to 7-10 business days to refund the money, unlike the normal 3-5 business days Im custom. As of May 4, I still have yet to receive my refund. As well they were still showing pending on my account summary. I immediately contacted my bank and they informed me, that not only were payment status read pending, but they have the ability to hold my money until MAY 11th!!!! I was shocked and very upset at this new information and reached out to the location. They of course just repeated the same thing that they said before. Only this time they were very unapologetic, didn’t emphasize with my problem and proceeded to make me feel as if their hands were tied and conducted themselves in a nonchalant manner and was hesitant to give me the corporate contact and they’re names. GM Alyssa I believe, I never seen her face and refused to call her superiors. Stating, once again misinformation, that the office was closed. Without even suggesting leaving a voicemail or email. In addition, she stated that this was a franchised location thus the brand standards of Marriott were not applied nor informed. Seeing as they were not being any kind of help. I located the contact information for cooperate and left my own voicemail. When I reached out to Marriott, I was dumbfounded by the policy method that the use for this situation. This is to send you and your concerns back to the location where they were placed and hopefully they will handle it. In other words send you on a wild goose chase to get absolutely nothing done. Everyone I talked to disassociated from taking accountability and gaslight you till you move to another and then it’s one person after next repeating the same script as to Confuse and convince outsiders that they are an organized and stable. The room is very spacious, two queen beds plus a sofa bed, can accommodate 6 people. Parking is free, not far from Six Flags Amusement Park and AT & T Stadium. There is also a water park at the gate. Breakfast was normal with fruit.

Great location, great staff and awesome amenities. I stay here every trip. The kick back at 5:30 was great. Food and drinks included at no extra cost. And breakfast was above and beyond, the coffee was my favorite part. Our room was very nice and clean. Very spacious and we were able to see the AT&T Stadium form our room.

TTjJVcCO1This was the 4rd Holiday Inn we stayed at in Texas and it was the most modern and cleanest room we had.The breakfast area was great and the Mall opposite was an added bonus. It was a great location for the baseball and Six Flags too. We do feel really disappointed that there was no mention of the building site opposite on the hotel description. The building work started at 6am most mornings and sometimes continued through the night.Upon check in we requested a quiet room, we received the opposite.Unfortunately, we had several bad nights of sleep here before returning to the UK. Once the building work is finished this hotel would be a great place to stay.
LLVylesThe Candlewood Suites in Arlington is a wonderful extended stay facility. I stayed for a week while in the area for work and found it to be clean, well appointed, and the staff was amazing. The room was roomy and had a very large desk and counter area that was great to plug in my laptop and get working on my travel blog. The kitchen was perfect for saving money on food as I was able to buy groceries and stay on my diet the whole week. Another great bonus was the proximity to the ball parks, six flags, and other sites in the area. While the hotel is close, the noise is minimal, I never lost a nights sleep despite Six Flags being within walking distance.
The front desk staff at this hotel needs training. We arrived on a Sat evening. The exterior phone didn't work so they could let us in and the woman working was very put out that she had to get up to open the door (they lock it past a certain time). She seemed to change her tune when she saw the Silver Elite status my husband has. But every person we talked to at the desk seemed bothered by having to answer questions. They were more interested in reading their books. One of pet peeves with hotels is if sheets don't fit. Our second night none of the bedding stayed in place, making for a long night. We asked for replacements but they weren't any better. The hotel is LOUD. It's right next to Six Flags so there I ride noise as well as bad highway noise. The decaf coffee was cold every morning, as were the egg breakfasts were pretty boring and repetitive. They had the TV blaring at breakfast, no one was watching. I asked to have it turned off but was ignored. And there was no ice machine on the second floor.
GGuest User2 night stay at the Days Inn went smoothly. Our room was clean, bathroom was clean (looked like it was updated recently). AC worked great, nice and cold. Had a mini fridge and microwave, with coffee maker and coffee packs and cups. Location was great as well, short driving distance to the mall and shopping plaza, and only about 10 to 15 minutes from the At&t Stadium. Friendly staff and courteous as well. Overall a great experience.
GGuest UserWe were traveling across country and Dallas was out midway point. We booked that night through the hotel tonight app which we have previously used and were happy with. I had stayed at another Red Roof Inn and it had 60% approval on the hotel tonight app so we went ahead and booked. It was 130am when we arrived so we were quite tired after 11hours of driving. The clerk was alright at checkin. We noticed that the paint on the outside door was chipped but figured oh well. After we were undressed, we noticed a couple of small bugs that my husband said looked like small roaches that he killed. We thought they snuck in while we were entering. After showering , we noticed the floor was sticking to our flip flops but we're just too tired to call and change rooms. We just checked the beds over carefully and passed out asleep. The next morning at checkout I mentioned the bugsand floor and the clerk stated, oh we will have to get the bug people in..🙄 While she processed our checkout I wanted to grab some of the free coffee offered in yhe lobby. They had cups and tops that didn't match /fit each other. When I asked the clerk , she said..oh would you like different ones! I shouldn't have bothered since when I brought it to my husband, he said it tasted like what he imagined old dishwater would taste like and promptly threw it away. I reported this property to both hotel tonight, who were unable to get any compensation from the hotel itself. Just awful.
GGuest UserIt's a low cost but clean place. It's very close to the shopping mall and restaurants. Location is about halfway between Dallas and Fort Worth on I-10 in Arlington.
