A fantastic little resort where every room is a detached chalet set in palms and green foliage. At night spot lights add to the magical feel of the place. The room is a little on the small side but the beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is modern. However... the walls are paper thin and although being detached, you cloud clearly hear the guests next door. The pool area was perfect. The relaxing atmosphere encouraged you to make the list of the swim up bar and the pool food service. The view out to sea was pretty spectacular too. The hotel is situated a few minutes walk from the main part of the island where you can eat and drink at so many places. Everything was idyllic until the clock struck 8pm! Then you are bombarded with the loudest club music you could ever imagine. This lasts every night until 2am. Why the island can't stop this, I haven't a clue but it certainly spoiled the holiday for us. We were so shocked in the first night, with the windows of our hut literally vibrating that we rebooked our original hotel back on the mainland as we just couldn't bear the noise. However the next day was our first full day at the resort. That was so relaxing and enjoyable, that we decided to bear with the loud music for the next two nights. The reception staff were not that cheerful which was a shame. And we had issues with the aircon and the fridge which was warm. This wasn't really fixed even though we asked and we were charged for ice too which again was a little rich! Would we go back? No. But it was a nice place to stay for a few days up until 8pm!

Nice bungalows with all comforts, nice white beach to relax on with bar for food and drinks, they can organise boat trips and excursions for you at a decent price. Unfortunately I feel like all the famous beaches around which you are supposed to go see are packed with tourists and full of plastic, I think they should take care of the beaches where they send their clients to, our boat trip was nice but we cut it short at one point cause the beaches were too crowded or dirty. We personally picked up 2 full big plastic bags of rubbish while the boat crew set around smoking. Also the lunch boxes were not great. The Ruan Thai restaurant was very nice, book a day in advance though cause it fills up quickly. The spa also is great, very good massages and nice environment. Cute village nearby to walk to for drinks, dinner, cheaper massages and mini markets. All in all nice resort but not an unforgettable experience.

It's just that the ebb tide is too much, it's a bit inconvenient to get wet on board and get off the boat, and it's really hard to carry luggage and climb stairs. I ’m sorry if you do n’t give it! The environment is still very good! It ’s just that I ’m going to board a plane and it ’s not convenient to get wet. Far islands! It's a bit inconvenient to bring children!

One of the best resort of my trip. The view on the bay is just wonderful. All of the staff is really kind and very professional. The access is not of the easier but they pick up our luggage so that’s just very nice to walk close to the see I will come back for sure thank’s a lot ♥️♥️

On the whole as Phi Phi is a small enough place the hotel was well located. Away from all the noise but close enough that everything is quickly and easily accessible. The staff were all lovely, and always willing to help. We didn’t have the opportunity to use the pool but many others did and it seemed like a decent pool. The only shortcomings would be the absence of an iron, although a steamer is available to use at reception it is a little inconvenient. The second would be air conditioning. The AC didn’t work very well and as it was very humid during our stay this was sorely missed. Finally, the shower units could use some attention as in the room we had the shower heads pointed in a direction that soaked the bathroom. That being said our stay was very pleasant and the friendliness of the staff was key!

We enjoyed our three-night stay at the hotel due to its commanding view of the area, isolation from the main town and arranging private long-tail boats tours. The hotel itself is located a short complimentary (check-in and checkout only) long-tail boat ride away from Ao Ton Sai Pier, which we had to wait a few minutes for after arriving by ferry. Once at the hotel, the staff greeted us and walked us up the several flights of stairs. Luggage is transported up to the hotel on a rail mounted cart. Our two bungalows (Bungalow West Seaview and Grand Seaview) had nice views of the Andaman Sea with lots of windows. The bungalows themselves were rather basic and would align with mid-range to slightly budget hotels. Our room was comfortable, including the bed, with all the features we needed and we enjoyed the bungalow feel with all its windows. I would have a preferred a nicer bathroom, due to the bungalows having a wet shower. The air conditioning was also a little noisy. Overall, I likely would pick the bungalow over a similarly appointed hotel with full bathroom. During our two full days, we hired a private long tail boat for 1,500-2,600 bhat/day (through the hotel). We enjoyed this option as we got to specify our schedule and got to Maya Bay before the tour groups. We also enjoyed snorkeling during our day tour. After the second day tour, I went snorkeling in front of the hotel by Shark Point. On our last morning, I asked the hotel about hiring a long-tail boat to take us to Shark Point and was quoted a 1,500 bhat, which felt really expensive considering it was a few hundred meters from the dock. I tried swimming out to Shark Point again, but the current/tide was too strong at times without flippers. You also need to be careful to avoid stepping on sea urchins. Overall, we would recommend the tours. The hotel itself is situated a 30 minute or so walk from the town center. However, we always took the long-tail boat, which cost 100 bhat/person before dusk and 150 bhat/person after. The hotel was fairly quick about getting long-tail boats to take us into town. However, hiring the long-tail boat by the pier to take us back to hotel was normally slow, as they seemed to wait for other people before departing. On one trip back (after a long wait) the boat left closer to the end of dusk and we got high-centered for a little while, due to the low tide. Typically, we would go into town in the late afternoon for groceries, arrange ferries, etc. and come back to have dinner at hotel next door. During Omicron, the town center was fairly busy near the water front, but away from main street many businesses were closed. I expect they all are open now. I preferred the quieter area surrounding the hotel and would likely choose to stay away from town center even if it meant dealing with expensive long-tail boat trips to town.

From arriving on a long-tail boat a short 10 minute from Ferry Port at Phi Phi you realise this is a beautiful little spot away from the hustle and bustle. Bungalows are great, we had large balcony and sea view. Check in easy and staff great. They provide towels for the beach. There's a few umbrellas on the beautiful beach and a number of deckchairs dotted round but finding shade isn't always possible. Although there is the restaurant which served good food. Beach is beautiful as is the sea and you have a view of Maya opposite. We did walk the path into Tonsai which you need to be fairly mobile/fit to manage. Took us about 30 minutes but best walked before 10am or after 5pm when cooler but not when dark. Recommended place to recharge those batteries.

We planned to stay at this hotel for two nights. We checked in and reception looked ok. There was no lift to get to the bedrooms so had to carry the suitcases and bag packs up the stairs. We walked into the room and honestly I have no words! There was bugs everywhere, it was dirty, stains on the sheets. The bed was like concrete and we immediately knew we could not stay in that room. When trying to get out the door would also not lock. The couple we were travelling with had an even worse room then ours. These rooms were on a very busy loud street. We went to reception and they showed my partner a different rooms that both couples have. This was better but these rooms were NOT under PP Charlie hotel this was under PP Princess hotel. The woman reassured that this was a quiet room. The room was bigger and more comfortable, a lot more like the pictures provided upon the PP Charlie website. Most importantly it was clean and the air con worked. This room was double the price on top of what we had already payed. On the night we again had to ask to move as the base of music from a tattoo shop had the bed vibrating. The hotel was accommodating in letting us move 3 doors up where it was more quiet. The swimming pool is nothing at all like the pictures. Please do not be fooled by the pictures of this hotel. This hotel needs a lot of TLC.

Upon arrival at Phi Phi Island Pier, there will be staff picking us up to the hotel. There is no car on the Phi Phi Island. This hotel is not close to the pier. To get to the pier to rent a taxi, 100 baht is a person, we 6 people choose first along On the mountain road, I went to the semi-dead and walked for half an hour to the pier to go shopping for an afternoon to buy a good dry food 500 baht to rent a boat back to the hotel. The next day I bought a 6-hour round-the-island tour at the hotel. It is recommended to take 3 hours around the island. After sitting on the wooden boat for a long time, the hotel will be dizzy, the hotel is very beautiful. When we went to the hotel, we sent us 2 days for breakfast (we stayed 2 nights). There are also 2 restaurants nearby to solve the problem. The door is super sea view, and there are many sands. Coral, stinging

GGuest UserWe are a couple in our 40s from Scotland. This hotel deserves more than 3 stars. The staff are so helpful and we got an upgrade to a superior hut as it was my 40th birthday. This is a very peaceful secluded area of phi phi island and good to enjoy the slower life. The food was delicious. There are only a few bars and restaurants in walking distance and these all stop serving at 10pm. The air conditioning is also not the best in the room as with them being huts it’s like a sauna when you first walk in. Please pack plenty of mosquito repellent as I had so many bites when I stayed here. We came over in the ferry and left our luggage back in our Phuket hotel, I would highly recommend bringing a small bag only here as it’s all boat transport. Apart from the small negatives I would not hesitate in returning to this tranquil hotel. Take a boat trip round the rest of the island. Bring Bahts too as there is no atm in this part. Simply stunning location

JJustUsExploringPhi Phi Island is an amazing place to visit and staying at this hotel will definitely make your trip even more memorable. The hotel's proximity to the pier is a big advantage as it allows for easy access by long tail boat. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, and they even offer pick-up services from the pier which is a thoughtful gesture. The hotel's restaurant serves delicious food and the beach is just a few steps away, making it convenient to enjoy the beautiful scenery. The snorkeling experience is simply breathtaking and can be enjoyed at any time of the day. The night show is a great way to spend the evenings and is highly recommended. In addition, Maya Bay is only a short 20-25 minute ride from the hotel. On the flip side, the wifi in our room wasn't working properly, but the inclusion of Netflix on the TV kept our kids entertained. All in all, this hotel is definitely a great choice for anyone planning a trip to Phi Phi Island.

JJette MarieWe stayed for 2 nights in this Hostel and did not gather enough information about the noise environment. Let me start with the Pros 💚: - enough bathrooms and shower rooms + hot water and even shampoo and shower gel - there is a space to dry your wet clothes - you have access to a small locker, but please bring your OWN lock - the rooms were very clean and the housekeeping staff came in daily. You even had the choice to place a card on your bed in case you wanted new sheets - towel was provided - staff is very friendly and helpful - you're close to the beach (you can basically jump out of your window and you'll be there) and close to very good restaurants and cafés, close to the port and viewpoints also Cons 💔: - there's a loud bar directly at the Hostel, from 10 to 11 p.m. there's an amazing but VERY loud fire show. After that, there's live music till around 1 a.m. sometimes even longer. Your earplugs won't be of any help. - not curtains seperating the beds. We stayed in a 6 person dorm and you basically had no private space 💗 It's a good hostel for solo traveling and If you're down for clubbing and definitely a way better choice than all of the Hostels in the backpacking area. If you're in for early tours or a relaxing vacation, do yourself a favor and choose one of the Bungalows or somewhere a little further away from the bustle of the island & nightlife

NNihongxiaohuaVery, very satisfied with the hotel. The hotel has its own beach, but there is nothing for snorkeling. Flowers are blooming at the entrance of the hotel. It is not far from the observation deck. The breakfast is also very rich. There is no extra cost for our family of three. We also have extra tickets for our children for free. Tatami, the big bed is 2 meters wide. You can sign up at the front desk of the overseas project. There is a 24-hour convenience store in front of the hotel and it is very quiet.

GGuest UserYou can’t find a more spectacular location to stay. Our bungalow was number 505 and was on the beach front literally a stones throw to the water edge. The sand is white and water clear just as you see in the photos. Things to bear in mind. Cleanliness was not as good as expected. Under and around our bungalow there were things left behind by previous guests a lot of rubbish, slippers, towels which had been forgotten. The bathroom and shower was outdated and felt old and we didn’t dare use the outside shower as that whole area looked dirty and stained from the wildlife. I had to ask the cleaner one day for a cloth to clean the table outside on the balcony as it was stained from beverages used by guests before us. The breakfast area really was quite gross. I didn’t feel like i was eating in a clean atmosphere. Really basic things like the table cloth on the breakfast bar were stained and tatty. The bar being quite open to the outside had stains from the fauna which seemed to flow in and out at their leisure. Staff were attentive however you never saw anyone cleaning when they weren’t doing anything. Its a pity as it would make the atmosphere much more pleasant. We did encounter some problems with the verandah door not opening and it was resolved immediately. The hotel took full charge of collecting us from our previous hotel in phuket taking us to the ferry port and the boat trip to the island for 1500 baht per person also the trip from the resort by boat to the next hotel in Krabi also for 1700 baht per person. This service is a real benefit because otherwise you have to take several boats and taxis and avoid all the hassle! Also another thing which was fabulous and my highlight of my entire trip to Thailand was the private long boat tour to ko phi phi leh. Not for the visit to Maya beach (however it was included) but for the swimming in the lagoon and snorkeling experience. That was worth every baht! You pay for the boat up to 4 ppl and its 2080 baht for 4 hours. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe Beach here and the views around this place are stunning and amazing you couldn’t ask to be somewhere like this on a daily basis. We were lucky to come here over the rainy season for 4 days and we only had rain in the evening so no complaints there The Pool although small was refreshing and a change from the sea after snorkelling Breakfast we had a day of just eggs toast and cereal and a day with everything only complaint no teapots Lunch and Dinner a nice small menu with good choices Bar unfortunately no bar as such you would have to visit the hotel next door which is a shame because not a lot to do once it gets dark Staff we found to be pleasant and helpful and always smiling and will help with anything Rooms beds are firm we asked for extra pillows which was no problem you have room safes a big sized bathroom. The rooms are dated and are in need of a good maintenance person as you will be able to see faults straight away but they work and they do the job It’s very easy to nit pick about this hotel but for the price and the location you’re getting a lot for your money It’s not a five star hotel but it is in a beautiful place

GGuest UserWe stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel staff were all amazing and very helpful. They collected us from the pier with our bags and carried them directly to the room, and the same leaving the island. The hotel is all individual tree top cabins. This can be a hike/long walk up a hill to the room depending on which one you stay in. The hotel is located on the beach with a private beach which is lovely. You can walk across the beach for 3 minutes to the main path around Phi Phi. 5 minute walk from the hotel to restaurants/shops. Taking 15 minutes to walk to the pier. Or you can get a tail boat taxi directly from the hotel beach to take you around the island or day trips. The hotel’s breakfast was 5/10. The average buffet style breakfast. The pool bar doesn’t exist when we were there and doesn’t look like it has been open in a long time. The rooms were cleaned everyday. I would not recommend the hotel for young children or people with reduced mobility.

GGuest UserI stayed here with my partner on the 6th of March 2024 and was suppose to stay for two nights. I booked a twin room, the room was dated and dull and not as glamourous as portrayed on the website. We just accepted this. Whilst sleeping at approximately 05:00am I heard squeaking noises and shuffling above me coming from the air vents that proceeded to get louder as it got closer. I had earlier in the night noted that there was a hole in the ceiling above the head board of my bed. A rat then fell from the ceiling onto my face, obviously causing serious distress. My partner and I managed to capture the said rat on video and then approached the reception desk and realised no one was at reception despite the website stating it was open 24hours. We were forced to wait outside. At approximately 7am we spoke with a hotel worker who was setting up breakfast and showed him the video and explained what happened, he was nice and as helpful as could be and informed us the manager would come. The manager did not arrive for almost 1 hour, the situation was explained to the manager and he accepted full responsibility and apologised. He was not willing to offer a refund if we stayed in the hotel in a different room the following night. We decided to leave the Phi Phi islands instead and accepted the full refund through the booking website. This was a very distressing incident and something I did not expect to happen at a hotel that is portrayed as a luxury stay.

HHMurrayThe service for this hotel was amazing. Our luggage was collected and taken to the hotel from the port and the manager/lady at reception was so kind, helpful and enthusiastic and made us feel really welcome. The hotel location is a little far despite being a small island and the hill is steep but it didn’t stop us from going out or enjoying phi phi. It made it feel more secluded if that’s what you are after and the view from the pool of the beach was amazing with a few nice quiet bars around, just not near the center. The room itself was quite disappointing, the smell was bad, there was a massive cockroach on its back in the bathroom and when the shower was on the light in the bathroom flickered.
