I'll tell you everything very much liked!!! And now in order. We lived in this beautiful paradise place for 6 days in early October 2023. The area of the hotel is green, with tracks, with lighting. At the respiratory we were met by a nice smiling girl and set us in a good bungalow. The hotel staff helped us with our things to get to the house. We lived in an inexpensive garden hut. Yes, there were small minus, such as not working light on the terrace, TV didn't turn on, the pressure of water in the shower is not the most powerful, but all the other pluses of the hotel overlap these minus with lichwa. The room itself is small, requires updates, lacked the refrigerator, but I saved the nearby 7/11)). In general, our money is worth! We still had breakfast. Individual song!)) Super! You have several sets available for choice and you have breakfast every day in a restaurant with beautiful sea view, under wave noise, bird singing, and light music. The pool is big and deep, cool! Ledzhaks are enough for everyone! The beach is good, in the morning was rainy, after lunch the water returned. The location of the hotel was suitable for us. On the bike in a few minutes arrived to Zen, or Malibu. To Tong Sala - 20-25 minutes. To sum up, we are delighted with the hotel, from the island as a whole, as in Pangana say, ”we are responding”)))) We will remember with warmth and love. Thank you for the wonderful rest.
This is a great hotel. Starting from the location, ending with small details in the room - mosquito spray in a perfume bottle. The staff is very polite and caring. You feel in absolute comfort and safety. The hotel area is very beautiful, surrounded by greenery. Breakfasts are great. There is everything. Buffet format + ordering from the menu. Any kind of scrambled eggs, porridge, juices, avocado toast, fruit, etc. You must leave a deposit of 1000 baht at the hotel; it will be returned upon check-out. On the downside, one night there was a lot of noise from the company in the neighboring villa. With music, dancing, etc. I think the hotel should take action and prevent this from happening. Still, the non-hotel format does not imply noisy parties.
The location is close to the pier and there is a convenience store at the door. The room is good, big and clean, the bed is very comfortable, the sea view is good but the sea is not suitable for swimming, and the service is good.
The resort has everything you could want for a relaxing stay. There is a good atmosphere and bar area while also being a nice retreat from the craziness of the full moon party. The staff weee friendly and really helpful. We rented a motorbike from them and booked taxis with them. All reliable. The bungalows are my favourite that I’ve stayed in during my time in southern Thailand.
Gorgeous! The location is in a quiet place, which is what I wanted! The beach is 50 meters away)) well, ok 100m))
I was without a bike and it was ok for me to walk to the next beach and to the Pyramid yoga center too))!!!! If you are too lazy to walk, of course you need a bike!
The accommodation itself!!! Excellent! I had a brand new studio with a kitchen in white colors, there is a lot of space and it is beautiful and stylish!!! I will come back!!!! Thank you very much!!!
A high-quality, quiet hotel, a confident four. friendly staff, daily cleaning with a full change of linen, willingness to accommodate in an unusual situation.
Of the minuses: steep slopes to get in and out of the hotel, with the existing skills of driving a motorcycle, I was a little afraid of the descents.
The rooms themselves are a little tired from time to time, but this creates a cozy “lamp” a**osphere of time-tested reliability.
I lived in a double house, there was strong audibility and the children drank endlessly, the sounds from the neighbors bothered me.
I asked about changing my number, and the staff was kind and helpful.
There is a beach, but as in most places on Koh Phangan, the water is shallow.
In general, the place to relax is wonderful. I recommend

DDizzzThe Vannee is a 3.5 star hotel but we can’t do half stars here. The hotel lacks details on most ends but overall a decent place to stay. The breakfast was not good for the 2 days of our stay. The true standout aspect of this hotel is the massive pool that expands the length of the grounds. There is a swimup pool bar.
IInna777The hotel is located a little far from civilization. You need to be prepared for this. The nearest 7 eleven is a 20 minute walk. This was not a problem for us. We stayed for 2 days and spent them entirely at the hotel. I didn't want to go out anywhere. At first glance, everything seems a little outdated, but the area has such a cool, relaxing atmosphere that after 5 minutes you forget about it. We lived in a wonderful Villa with a pool and sunset views right from the balcony. Breakfast and dinner were included. The food was divine. The staff is very attentive. Everyone knows what villa you live in, what kind of coffee you like, etc. It was very surprising. The hotel has a beautiful beach - although in the afternoon, because... in the first half, due to the tide, the beach goes under water. But in the afternoon it opens and it’s very cool to walk there. The places are very picturesque.
GGuest UserThe hotel is 4 stars. And this is clearly visible in everything. The service, room cleaning are all excellent. The staff here is very friendly, fulfills all requests. The location is near the hotel. This is where it wins. It is located on a beautiful beach next to the Anantara hotel. Close, within walking distance all infrastructure: shops, restaurants, cafes, laundries, bike and car rental, exchange offices, massages, etc. From Thong Sala Pier it takes 30 minutes, a taxi costs approximately 1000-1500 baht, depending on the number of people. There are downsides to the hotel: 1. The biggest downside is the breakfast. It’s disgusting. Everything is tasteless, the pastries are old, there are no fresh juices, it’s impossible to drink coffee from the machine. 2. The room is very small, the bathroom always smells damp and musty. Upon request They install an aromatic liquid, but it lasts literally for 2 hours. 3. The quality of linen and pillows leaves much to be desired. Results: The hotel is good, a solid four. If you want to live on the shore of a beautiful beach, then choose it.
GGuest UserMoonstone is an absolute delight. The layout of the place is amazing. Cleanliness is impeccable. Very tranquil and relaxing atmosphere. The natural scenery and ocean views are serene. A group of playful monkeys visit the area often as well. I did not get a chance to meet the owner but a couple I met there said he was an amazingly nice guy. I've been visiting Koh phangan frequently and just discovered Moonstone. I'm certainly booking this place again. I would recommend anyone to visit Moonstone. You won't regret it. Moonstone is definitely one of the best places I stayed on the island
EElena ZorinaHad terrible experience with the old lady who is a hotel owner/manager. Me and a friend of mine booked the hotel for 6 nights, turned up a day later than was supposed to and discovered that she put some other guests in the room. The explanation was that we didn’t notify the hotel that we would be 1 day late. The hotel has a right to do so according to their policies. But the lady’s attitude was horrible, no help was given (we came to the island during so called “Full moon party” time when even the worst hotels sell their rooms for crazy money). It was impossible to find anything at that time and we were tired and desperate after a long trip. So I suppose the greediness was the driving force to resell the room. No prior notification was given to me about the situation. The lady just said “leave” and was refusing to return money (I guess because she would lose the money if she cancelled herself). In the end the police helped us solve the situation and we had to move to another island. “Trip” also gave me quite a bonus for this. I love Thailand and their people but that was the worst experience for the whole trip
GGuest UserA really lovely hotel with very nice staff which is let down by a few little snnoyances. The bed was rock hard. I’m not normally fussy about beds but this made my hips ache. We paid for breakfast which was lovely but they charged extra to refill the coffee which is just penny pinching. They didn’t replace used toiletries and didn’t change the sheets at all. Overall the hotel was really great but it wouldn’t take much to make it fabulous.
Kkathayos ChinnapongseI came to stay at Sunrise resort 1st time in June and recently a few day ago. I have to say that I am very happy with Sunrise Resort...lots better than I expected. Start from the location..which is right on Had Rin white sand beach. Good location for full moon party and of course very peacfull before and after. You can easy go down to the beach early in the morning to watch the sunrise and at night to see the moon and enjoy nice cool sea air with your favorite drinks. My room was nice& clean. i got my room on the 2nd floor both time....good ocean view and swimming pool. All staff from the restaurant / front desk /and beach bar are very friendly . All the boys and Pee Kul at the beach front bar are very joyfull. Pizza and cheese burger is the best ...Thai manu also good. Breakfast was good...I got chicken fried rice every morning...and of course you can chose another manu. Location of the resort is easy walk from Had Rin pier when you arrive the island. Around resort you can find lots of restaurants and lots of shops and lots of things to enjoy. There's also a few motorbike rental shops.. you can go places around Koh Pang Ngan easy . will definitely come back and stay again here.
RRenedelportI can not recommend this resort enough! It is perfect if you are looking for something classy but affordable. Everything was great, the staff are super friendly and very attentive! The rooms are spacious and beautiful. Easy check in and out. Facilities are open to all guests. You can lounge at the pool for a whole day as they have created a comfortable atmosphere and various seating options! The restaurant is great, breakfast is superb! The location is perfect if you want quiet and calm but still want to be near the busy streets in town. Perfect for families, couples and singles
SSara ElizabethOnly stayed here one night as I was booked the following days at a yoga retreat. It got the job done and is within walking distance of a really nice vegan restaurant.
MMartinOverall the hotel was nice but in several point not what we expected: We booked a „villa with sea view“. There was no sea view at the villa that was assigned to us. You couldn’t see the sea neither from within the villa nor from the pool nor from the sun beds nor from the outside bath tub. The only way to see a glimpse of the sea was to stand up on a certain spot on the terrace. That’s not what we expected from a room advertised as „with sea view“ and the (trip.com) booking page also suggested otherwise. When we complained, we got assigned another villa where we could see the sea partly. Thank you for that. However, the manager told us that the photos from the booking page were in fact another villa. But it's not my responsibility to make sure that the photos and pictures provided on booking pages are correct. The hotel has to take care of that! This holds also true for the next issue: The gym was closed due to renovation. In the booking process, they advertised a huge fitness center with lots of machines. Now it’s shut down and we did not get any information about this. The „mini gym“, which does not even have at least one multi exercise machine, is nothing but a bad joke and no replacement at all for a proper gym! Again the staff told us they would inform about this on their website. When I checked that, I still found the photos of the large gym on their own website. It was just called ”mini gym”. But how am I supposed to know what they mean by that and that the provided photos are no longer correct??
