There is a free welcome drink, which is good; Room 410 is far away from the elevator, and the experience is not good; there is no refrigerator facility in the room, and after a light is turned off, it flashes every two or three seconds, affecting sleep, and the experience is very poor; Low cost performance.
This is just a generic hotel, but I used points. Hotel has a security guard 24-7. Front desk staff speaks good English and everyone was friendly. Location is next to a mall and so the food choices are pretty much all chain restaurants. There is a grocery store about 10 minute walk away and pharmacies within 5 minutes. Room itself was a good size and was clean. Bed was comfortable and AC was good. Television has a couple English stations. Water is provided on the first day, but not on subsequent days (this should be changed). There is a fridge in the room. There was plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Shampoo and soap provided, but no lotion or conditioner. Breakfast included coffee/tea, hot buffet items (eggs, beans, pupusas), and continental items (yogurt, fruit, cereal). Overall, this was just OK. But I was solo and wanted to be sure I was in a safe area.
My family and I stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott in San Salvador, El Salvador. The reception at the hotel by every employee was second to none. They made us feel at home immediately. From the employees at the front desk to the cooks, maids and all other employees, they were all extremely helpful, friendly and courteous. This hotel is next to an outdoor mall called La Gran Villa. Lots of restaurants and department stores (outdoor and indoor stores). This is a very safe area to walk around. Lots of security, and friendly people. We did not see any criminal element in the area. This was our first time in El Salvador and the experience was great. The Marriott is centrally located to many of the activities and landmarks in the country. I can’t emphasize how safe this area (La Gran Villa) is and how much fun it is to just hang out and enjoy a beer or some coffee at one of the many shops/restaurants.

It was a welcoming experience. The staff were all smiles and helpful. I really appreciated the people working at the restaurant including the people in the kitchen. The waitresses were kind and attentive and sharp looking. We enjoyed our stay because of these people and they deserve all the credit for keeping us smiling.
I have been hosted in this hotel twice. It is a very cozy place. The attention is magnificent. The food is very good and even they offered breakfast to take because my bus was leaving early. They also allowed me to check out late when my bus went out at 3PM. 100% recommended!
Check in (possibly the slowest in the world on our visit) is at the Crown Plaza. Ask for directions to the old block on the other side of the pool as reception may not tell you. Rooms are much better value than at the main hotel; just discounted as they are older. But decent living room area and a microwave and coffee pot added. The pool is a nice size between the two buildings. Very helpful concierge arranged an airport taxi and pointed us in the right direction around the grounds when reception failed!
The hotel is very well located, is located in a prestigious area, there are nearby shops, 24-hour staff very attentive, good facilities that could improve, a great breakfast and a luxurious swimming pool.

This is a great hotel located in a very nice location right next to a couple of the major shopping malls in San Salvador. The area is super safe, and the hotel itself has security. The rooms are comfortable and super clean. The staff are super nice as well. I will recommend to anyone visiting San Salvador.

GGuest UserInterContinental San Salvador - Metrocentro Mall My husband and I stayed here November 2021 for our anniversary. The hotel is in a perfect location with direct access to the Metrocentro Mall and many other things to do in this amazing city. The staff and front desk were extremely courteous and helpful. The hotel was extremely clean and very equipped with social distancing signage and hand sanitizer stations throughout the hotel. Room: My husband and I are InterContinental Ambassadors, so we received a guaranteed upgrade. The room itself had a wonderful view of the city and the Metrocentro Mall. It still remained super quiet in spite of the close proximity to the shopping centers. The room was clean, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was very modern, and the shower/tub had great water pressure. My only complaint was that the water temperature often varied from lukewarm to hot depending on the time of day. Onsite Dinning: The onsite restaurants were okay for last minute dinning, but nothing was memorable considering the price. During our stay, we dined at the Faisca do Brasil and Picasso. The other restaurant Nau lounge was closed during our stay. Again, if you are looking for better fine-dining options, try Brutto El Salvador, La Gastroteca, or La Melangerie. In addition, do not be afraid to dine at some of the delicious local restaurants in the city center. Pool/Gym/Spa: The pool and gym were both small but workable and the spa services were magnificent and really great for the value. My masseuse was magnificent, and the spa treatments were PERFECT! Just make sure you book your treatments upon arrival because spa slots fill up quickly. Overall, the hotel made our stay in San Salvador extremely comfortable. I do believe that while some improvements to the dining options can be made, the hotel overall is quite solid and the hotel’s location cannot be beat. My husband and I would definitely stay here again.
AAnonymous UserThe room facilities are complete, and you are welcome to use water/wash towels, etc. The only drawback is that there is no small soap; the elevator item in the hotel's comprehensive facilities is a defect, giving people a sense of insecurity; breakfast/front desk service are all OK.
I love this hotel. It is a small hotel but perfect for our vacation. The place is clean, staff are attentive they are always happy to help. Breakfast is included in the stay and was delicious. The hotel is located in a prime tourist zone with a lot of restaurants and things to do around. The location is also safe we walk around and we feel safe people around are friendly too just try to blend in do no go there flashing expensive stuff and you not going to have any problems. We are so happy to stay at villa florencia hotel.
TTarzanExcellent stay as usual here, fantastic service and the food is local so you can walk to and from the hotel with ease. Benihanas is definitely a go to spot! The rooms are cute and comfortable, perfect for a solo getaway and time to rest, highly recommended!
XXioRuingThis place is great. Very laid back and the staff are incredible. Located on a quiet part of San Benito the property itself is small and intimate with decent sized rooms with modern conveniences. I especially like the smart tv. Decor is quirky and nice. My first floor room contained one queen bed with a small desk and well working AC. The bathroom is huge with big shower and modern touches. Check in was smooth. The hotel still uses regular metal keys and as a joke, there’s an art mosiac piece hanging that consists of nothing but electronic key cards from other hotels around the world. Morning continental breakfast is light but enough to get you going fo rthe day: cheese, bread, toaster, cold cuts, coffee, OJ, hard boiled eggs, and cereal.
LLA WEBFESTI stayed at this hotel for six nights and found it to be in a very safe area. The building ifself was clean and well-maintained. The breakfast provided was enjoyable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating.
GGuest UserLocated in very calm residential location Walkable distance to St Luis shopping mall Room are clean and comfortable With complementary three optional breakfast menus Wifi works well Got cab for pickup from Airport on reasonable price Nothing for negative
WARNING DO NOT STAY HERE I stayed this place couple nights came back 10 PM to dogs barking like a maelstrom, from a room close to mine with the hard floors walls and ceilings it was unbearable, t, molested the whole place moved me to a room half the size, why did I have to move at 10:30 at night, to avoid this absolute rudeness. had to dismantle my computer set up yada yada yada a real pain in the _____. , then the owner-of the dogs came and had an attitude, this place no hot water that room.... ,no water pressure, dogs barking close by .beside a stinking polluted barranca. DO NOT EVEN WASTE your time staying here, the owner, another r_____ Pre______ guanaco I am sure never even showed up the next day nor apologized. I have surfed here since 1985, have traveled the world and this was definitely one of the worse experiences ever.
The hotel is very good, in location and facilities, enough space, price and quality very remarkable, comfortable bed, good room bathroom, very good cleaning, service by the staff is one of the best I have received, The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable.
