THE GOOD. The staff was very nice, friendly, helpful with what they could. Very good location, clean, silent. 10-15 walking distance from any interesting location. The restaurant was the best (I experienced) in town. There is a nice swimming pool, not warmed, too cool for end of May. Plenty of parking room!!! THE NOT SO GOOD. There is no room service, hence this is not a 4* hotel, as advertised. The dinning room is outside the hotel, so in a rainy day one has to walk and get wet. I would not want to fully dress during a winter stay just to have my morning coffee. In the room, the air conditioning worked as a fan. The safe was broken. The reception desk was kind, but could offer no solution. After two night, for extra pay, we got an ”apartment”, with a terrace without a table to put a glass on. The Venetian blinds were partially functioning. The air conditioning dead. The next day someone fixed it. In the bathroom one bulb did not work. I fixed it. The shower flexible tubing was damaged, it was difficult to hold it. In the rooms there were no paper an pen to take notes. The phone function buttons did not work, so I had to guess ”0” is the reception. The room had to entrances. One via the elevator, but they had only one key for two persons. The other, with an electronic key usable only after exiting the elevator and climbing the stairs one floor. As I said, this is not a 4* environment. The management should pay more attention to maintenance details. One day the restaurant staff were ”stiff” and stressed, very unusual. One whispered me ”The boss is here”. I was sad.
We had a great stay at this conveniently hotel. My husband attended an international conference and we stayed a few days to see the city. The hotel is located in the walkable historical town and was a perfect place from which to see the city. The area is full of patio dining, shops, and historic sites. Our room was comfortable and the reception answered questions when needed.
We spent two nights at the Hotel Reghina Blue. We have some very positive comments about some features and enjoyed our stay, but it could easily have been made much better. The hotel is situated further than we anticipated from the city centre. It is a good half hour's walk to Victory Square. We discovered later that there is a useful tram line (no 6) but there was no information about this at the hotel. There is free parking in front of the hotel and in a car park at the side. The hotel is modern and is decorated with interesting old photos of Timisoara buildings of the past. Our room was large with plenty of space for our luggage. It was clean and stylish. The bed was a little firmer than I like. The bedside lamps did not direct light to the bed and so it was not possible to read in bed, and it was necessary to get out of bed to turn them on and off. Otherwise it was a pleasant and comfortable room. The bathroom was fine and the shower worked well. Wifi was free and the signal was strong. On our first night we dined in the hotel. We had only just arrived in Romania and did not have any local currency and so thought it would be easiest. We had a very decent meal. The atmosphere was somewhat lacking as we were almost the only people there, but the hotel could not do anything about that. Breakfast was included in the price and was a self-service buffet. Some of it was very good: cold meat and cheese, bread, cakes and fruit. The hot offering was less appealling. It looked as if the fried eggs had been on display since the restaurant opened at 7am and were still there an hour later. The sausages, too, were lukewarm. If these items had not been present I would have thought it an excellent breakfast. The staff could have been more helpful. Only the breakfast waiter made an effort to be welcoming to guests. We found on our first evening that the safe in our room was not working. Perhaps it needed new batteries. We told the receptionist who came to have a look. She was not able to solve the problem herself and said she would get someone to come and deal with it the next day, but this never happened. We were given a map of the city which was very useful but we were given incorrect information when we asked about changing money and buying a ”vignette” to allow us to drive in Romania. We were directed to a bank along the road but this was closed and looked as if it had closed down a long time previously. Fortunately a very helpful lady in the travel office next door helped us to buy a vignette online and directed us to a nearby exchange office. The staff in the hotel really should have done this. They could also have told us about the tram mentioned earlier in this review. We only found out about it when we went to the tourist information office in the centre of the city. There was a pleasant courtyard garden and an outdoor swimming pool which we would have enjoyed if we had visited in the summer.

Clean room, pleasant check-in, good breakfast. Had parking. Close walking distance from main square with lots of restaurants and…ice cream. Only thing I’d change is for them to have serviettes at the outside tables, and I’m only mentioning this to fill up the TripAdvisor character limit.

Outstanding
GGuest UserWe had an amazing experience with this Tresor Le Palais last weekend for our wedding. The service was outstanding, and the event was exactly what we had hoped for. I was so pleased with the service I received from Cristian (Head Event Manger) leading up to the wedding and throughout the day. Cristian and his team went above and beyond to help us create the perfect wedding, even bringing the warmth and sunshine. Catalin (Reception Manager), Dragos and David the team on the Reception gave us the luxury service expected for a 5* hotel throughout our 4 day stay. Helping myself and our 17 guests continue the wonderful experience. I would highly recommend Tresor for your luxury stay or event. It is close to the airport and city centre.
GGuest UserVery nice hotel. Clean, cosy, modern, very comfortable room, super nice restaurant with quality and great food and professional staff. A real joy to stay here and a great choice for dinner. Our stay was more than a joyful experience. The infos in the hotel tv system aren’t updated, but this is just a small detail- only to have a negative remark :) I’m strongly recommend this place!
We booked a room in the hotel for an overnight stay as we were traveling to our final destination in the south of Romania. The hotel room was clean and quite big. Though we arrived after 11 PM we found hot water to have a shower for both myself and my partner ( it's always annoying when arriving in a hotel and there is no how water). We found also a parking place right next to the hotel even if we arrived late. Another advantage for us was that the hotel has 24/7 reception as anybody who needs to cross the border knows that you can never estimate that time. They have also the possibility to have breakfast in the morning which is not included in the hotel price. The offer for the breakfast was quite good ranging from eggs to different types of cheese and hams and so on. Overall if you want to eat well in the morning the breakfast they are offering is a good variety. The hotel is not centrally located so maybe I wouldn't recommend it to somebody who wants to visit Timisoara ( unless they want to take the car and drive) but for us as a stop along our way the location was perfect - close to the highway and the gas station and easy to get in an out of the cities outskirts.
HHYUNCHEONThe negidans, parking and facilities located in the apartment complex are good, but the memory of the heating operation was difficult.
Fortunately, Sri Lanka tied to the next room on the first floor. The cleaning staff from the country helped me a lot. thank you!
AAvi TIt was my 3rd time in NH Timisoara and they never miss - another great stay! A very welcoming and helpful staff, great service, clean and convenient hotel - I asked for a (very) early check-in and they managed to do that which made a huge difference for me. Their only problem - the wifi is not good. This hotel is very recommended, and I will surely stay there in my next trip to Timisoara. Thank you very much !
GGuest Userthe location is good, close to the Cathedral and Bega , but outside the main pedestrian avenue - due to that, the hotel is cozy, not noisy there is parking area to the lower level ; iti is not a big area, but it is functional the room and the bathroom were good, according with our expectations; we stayed only one night, so we have nothing to say about the cleaning during the day breakfast - good enough overall, we will keep this hotel as the first option for Timisoara
GGuest UserPro - Location is perfect (center of Timisoara) - Staff very helpful - Close parking - Tea/coffee/bathroom samples are given in quantities and good quality Con : - Swimming pool is not as good as it appears on the photos. Still pleasant but it's part of the gym subscription and it can be quite busy with people from the hotel and the one from the gym - 2 Jacuzzy was out of order (it's temporary)
We stay in a apartament. The hotel made a good impression from the start. The area is quiet and the staf kind and friendly. The hotel is chic, clean, beautifull, well smelling. The beds are very confortable, bathrooms are clean. Breakfast was tasty and varied . The hotel has its own parking with a small fee.
The only aspect that corresponds to the 4 stars is the price. the rest of the services are a mess. - bathroom is not properly cleaned, you have only one towel available even if the reservation was for 2 persons. you need to ask for another towel and bathroom amenities. - the breakfast is pretty ok but it doesn't offer a wide range of choices. it's like you wanna eat at home and you didn't shop for food. you don't starve but you are not pleased. - the room windows are dirty. the shared balcony is even dirtier. - if you are unlucky enough to get the room right above the hotel entrance like I was, you should expect to stay awake all night. the receptionist called in some friends and listened to music and drank beer all night. we called at around 2-3 am and asked them to stop and hey said ”sure”... not long after, they decided to move the party outside, in front of the hotel, right under our window. called the reception again, didn't answer, obviously, opened the window, saw the receptionist drinking a beer, he ran inside. called again, and asked them to stop because I wanted to sleep after a 600km drive. they said sure! everything stopped after about 20-30 minutes. it was already 4am. next morning, we discussed with another guy that was at the reception and demanded to speak to the manager and, surprise surprise, the manager was not there Saturday morning. we could only speak with somebody from management on Monday. when our trip and stay at this hotel ends. too little too late. since I wasn't able to contact a manager, I asked for a room change, and the receptionist said that he will not give us another room because what happened is not a solid case for a room change. it is unbelievable that at a 4 star hotel, the employees make your stay horrible. I have never felt or heard something like this. and I can't do anything about it. what is even more unbelievable is that you can't contact somebody from the management team till day day your vacation ends.. Under no circumstances I can recommend this hotel. it's not a 4 star hotel, maybe, just maybe, 3. Management team and the staff have a lot to learn about what a 4 star hotel should look like and how the services should be. To conclude, I don't recommend this hotel. stay away from this if you want to have a good vacation.
Very dated in the furnishings but certainly comfortable and functional. Close to the airport and the city centre. The only thing I honestly didn't understand is the breakfast room on the first floor. How come all the windows closed? They create a very “sad” environment
