Myself and my 4 year old son stayed here for a weekend, and it was fantastic! We received excellent communication from the front desk via email as we arrived after check in, which meant we could get straight up to our room upon arrival. It's in a great location, and has modern, clean, fresh décor and super friendly staff. The bed was comfortable, bathroom spacious and A/C. There was plenty of extra bedding in the cupboards too which meant you could change the sheet for a duvet if the weather suddenly changed. The breakfast was a good price, and great continental selection; my son ate everything in sight, and they even went above and beyond to make him pancakes as a treat! There was an honesty bar available throughout the day too for any quick snacks or drinks which was reasonably priced. There's a local grocery shop, pharmacy, café and restaurants all 5mins walk away too which is so useful when travelling with children. Sintra itself was beautiful, my son loved the views, visiting Quinta da Regaleira and spotting the 'castles!' on top of the hills. Do be aware Sintra has a micro climate so the weather can be breezy and cooler than expected! Thank you to all the staff and friendly guests for making us feel so at home, and 100% recommend this lovely hotel.

We fell in love with this hotel when we first visited in 2022, and we returned with my aunt and uncle for now our third stay. As usual, everything was outstanding. Spectacular views, incredibly friendly and warm staff, over the top breakfasts, lovely evening wine and cheese service…. And we were happy to be reunited with our peacock friends! The only problem is that this hotel is too beautiful, too perfect… and no other hotel can compare (my aunt complained bitterly for the rest of our Portugal trip that our subsequent hotels just did not live up to the standard set by Sintra Marmoris Palace!) Thank you to Mariana and João and the entire team for another wonderful stay! -Kristina & Barry
The hotel is very close to the railway station, and it is easy to find it according to the navigation. The outside courtyard is beautiful, and the lobby and public areas are also beautiful. However, because it is an old house, there is no elevator, and if you live on a high floor, you have to carry your suitcase to go up. This is basically the problem in hotels where you live in old houses in Portugal. We booked a suite with a small loft and a small balcony outside the loft with a nice view. Breakfast is their own coffee shop, not with the place where they live, it is very close, less than 5 minutes. Breakfast is Western style, with bread, cheese, desserts, fruits, a cup of juice and coffee per person, which is quite hearty.
Hotel location is very good, very close to Sintra train station ~ convenient connection to Sintra! The front desk staff was also very enthusiastic, giving us a detailed explanation of the local gameplay ~ there is a small balcony next to the restaurant!
Sintra Marmoris Camelia Hotel is a lovely small boutique hotel located in old Sintra within walking distance to the sights. The rooms are unique, large, well-appointed with stunning décor, large bathrooms, with stunning views of the castle and greenbelt. The location is perfect! The concierge will help plan a nice day of sightseeing, transportation or dinning in the area. They are extremely helpful always greeting you with a smile and willingness to help. Breakfast was yummy and is made to order in a lovey setting either inside or outside on the patio. In the afternoon, their sister property offers wine tasting for the guests at both properties. Thank you – The Team at Jetsetz

There was complete attention to detail. Crisp sheets, nice towels, proper duvet, king bed size, good room size, black out curtains, nice bathroom and walk in shower, very good build quality. Great pool with views. Beautiful fully restored historic building setting. Great breakfast with fresh fruits, fresh juice, great yoghurt, cereals, eggs n bacon, croissant, etc. Parking in premises. Restored chapel turned into lounge. They simply got everything right. Staffed by friendly and helpful people.
Lovely hotel , centrally located in Sintra with easy access to shops and restaurants, Room was great, clean, and spacious with a view of the National Palace. Breakfast was very good and all the staff were polite, attentive and happy to help. We enjoyed our brief stay
GGuest UserThis is an accommodation we stopped at on the way from Sintra to Lisbon.
As it was an existing mansion or castle that was renovated, the building itself was old, but clean and well-maintained, and the rooms were very spacious, which was nice.
I tried breakfast as it was included, and although there weren't many items, everything was delicious.
GGuest UserRating 0/5 - Exceptions to this RATING - Are the polite & extremely helpful Jessica @ the front desk & Andre the Rooms Manager who went out of their respective ways to meet any requirements needed. Firstly, my reservation was booked 2 months prior yet NO NOTIFICATION that the Hotel name & brand had changed a couple weeks prior. With a few street signs & the massive New Name signage on the hotel marquis , I was not notified of the NH Re- Branding. I was told that ALL guests were notified of this Change of Corporate Re- Branding . When I explain this to the Day front Desk Manager his reply was nothing they can do as it all comes from Head Office (poor apology ). I checked all previous correspondence & no such emails were received by me despite being assured that notifications were sent to all arriving guests! After an 8 hour flight from Toronto Canada & driving past the hotel 3 times up & down one way streets, finally parked & asked where is the Tivoli Sintra Hotel? I was directed in its direction. Jessica @ the front desk walked back with me to my car ( got in with my wife & I ) & guided us through the streets to the hotel. Wonderful ! Andre was most attentive & any request was followed through with the expertise & care of a 5 star manager (a hand written note expressing his desire to be of service should we require anything) was in our room . COMMENDABLE! Now my rating is based not on these two wonderful caring staff But the other staff & room encounters. The shower head kept falling down on the bar so could only be used by hand . The evening front desk manager came to the room & apologizing said it would be repaired in the morning, still not corrected by next day. I asked for 4 towels as the shower floor was soaking wet ( said could give us ONLY 2 ) from the ill functioning shower-head, also the sink faucet spout that spewed water over the entire area (poor design) choice. The house maid came & cleaned entire bathroom that evening so we could still use it the next day - lovely lady despite no English we gestured what was required and she met our expectations. The following day we went @9:30 pm for a late light dinner. After being seated by a bus boy who did not provide us with table settings, we waited 10 minutes as the Waiter walked by us twice with no acknowledgment as to our presence (saying he would be with us momentarily would have been considerate). He proceeded to serve another table 3 feet from us, who were asking for additional drinks as they were obviously there for some time dining. We finally got up from the table & in dismay the waiter looked at us. We stated that being ignored & as guests of the hotel were upset with this level of disrespect & lack of hospitality professionalism. Lastly, I had sent an email at the time of booking advising of this being a special 70 th Birthday trip for my wife, to the hotel Manager that any niceties that could be offered would be appreciated. Not even a note ! As I am writing this in our Fig
KKevin-TanMemorable stay. Hotel is well and tastefully renovated. Parking available is a big plus. Hotel is high in the hill and near to the moorish castle. A memorable stay. Lots of birds and very very nice. The service is fantastic and very friendly host.
GGuest UserDecent place to stay if you have a car. Several miles from Sintra historic center area, but we left early enough to get a free spot in a neighborhood a few blocks from the National Palace, so that helps. Room was typical BASIC Ibis. Not enough pillows (just ONE per person); towels (again, only ONE total, per person, or trash cans (again, ONE TINY one). No fridge!! No coffee maker. NO ICE machine available for public use in the entire hotel! Very tricky parking spaces. They have about 15-20, which are free, on surface lot, but need to pay if park in structure below...only 3 euros, but they should just make it free. The bar/restaurant area was decent and convenient; fair prices for quick dinner. Breakfast 8.50 euros, but very limited continental breakfast only; not hot items... We chose to eat elsewhere and was less expensive. Not many places to eat in immediate vicinity. There is a very convenient Lidl and Auchan (large grocery/gen merch store) to stock up on supplies before heading out. Internet wasn't working our first night, but was ok the next night. In summary, inexpensive, basic, clean room for the night, but definitely no friils. Would recommend staying here, as long as aware of basic/limited amenities
MMENGYUNThe hotel is in the golf resort. It is convenient if you have a car. If you don't have a car, you can go to the train station and take a bus to the sights. The swimming pool is downstairs, and it's very comfortable to have a sit there in the evening. I'd like to recommend it.
GGuest UserLovely staff, lovely included breakfast, but the room was just too noisy. Maybe it was because we were at the front of the hotel, overlooking the ocean and 'apple' beach? Also overlooking the main road. Saturday night we had dance music till 2am from the club next door. Sunday was laughing and shouting and then the street cleaning machines started up at 7am. Because the room had no a/c or fan we had to have the window open, which compounded the noise issue. Didn't get much sleep. No iron or kettle, weak wifi
