Sublime hotel. Our stay was just perfect. We stayed for 8 nights and had great value for money. The rooms were impeccable, clean, stylish, fresh towels everyday, gym was quiet and way above expectations. Every afternoon, we enjoyed fresh cakes and pastries that were for the guests. The pool was relaxing and quiet. With a busy lifestyle, this was just what we were looking for in a get away. The location means restaurants and core transport links are accessible via a short walk. Service was warm, welcoming and friendly. Every time we entered, we were greeted with a warm, Portuguese smile. Nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. We will most certainly be back. We loved our stay! Thank you

With a timeless design and modern facilities, the Holiday Inn Express Porto - Boavista is located in Porto's business center and just a few minutes walk from the city's biggest attractions. It is truly unique and ideal for guests travelling on business and looking to enjoy the serene, easy-to-concentrate environment with all the facilities that a business trip requires. In addition to its location and 91 rooms, the Holiday Inn Express Porto also offers co-working spaces and a restaurant that promises fast but delicious meals.
Warm welcome, spacious room but unfortunately not the original one, we had to have a queen or king size bed, we finally had 2 single beds. The recoats are well done by the housekeepers. A little expensive for the price but very nice hotel. The water is chargeable be careful
Arrived on a Sunday Afternoon, to a helpful and friendly English speaking reception. Whilst it was 4pm our room was not ready so they changed the allocation. Next morning we were not on the breakfast list they had not amended the room no. In addition the breakfast area was overrun with what turned out to be about 4 coach loads of people. There was a shortage of cutelry, crockery and food. I ended up with coffee in a paper cup. No hot food left at that time. Subsequent breakfast times were less busy with a little more choice. However we realised that the hotel is set up for basic stop overs on way to/from airport and coach tours, not a mid week stay like ours. The 304 bus stop right outside the hotel reception was always on time in the mornings but took up to 30 minutes to get to the centre of Porto. The return by bus was not so reliable, with busses not turning up to schedule and the last bus getting back to the hotel just after 8pm. I am not sure if there is a bar open in the evening, I certainly did not notice one. Overall this is a clean basic busy hotel and did not suit our purpose.
The house is a single-family type
About ¥400 a night is really a bargain!
There is an open fire in the kitchen for cooking (actually you don’t need it when traveling hh
There are two bathrooms so that when someone takes a shower, they don’t occupy the bathroom.
The overall environment is great
There is a refrigerator
Just outside the door is the bus stop
Very nice hotel, modern and confortable. The staff is very nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and well kept. The breakfast is good and varied. Close to a big shopping mall and metro station. Oporto center is only 10 min. away in metro.
The price was great and ofcourse the room is spacious. The location is not so good if ur looking for site seeing. Takes like 15 minutes uber to get to center.
I am not sure how and why but i soaked in bath tub and then got rashes on my leg and hands.
So careful with the bath tub.
Roms are Bit old fashion. The bath room was modern with a nice shower, bed was very comfortable, we had one evening a dinner in the hotel and on 4 days lunch. It was excellent. Best baccalau I had in Portugal. Also my colleges from Porto were impressed. Nearest Metro is a 10 min walk. To the beach it is a 50 min walk. I would recommend the hotel.
