Find the Cheap Mesao Frio Hotels

Quinta do Bosque is an exceptional hotel in every respect. This was our second visit and we were as impressed the second time as the first, perhaps even more so. Christiano (and Maria) are first class hosts and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are beautiful, (we had a suite, but all the rooms are great), with first class attention to detail in every respect. The breakfasts offer good choice and also the snacks available through the day are well thought out and presented. There is also a set evening meal available if required and is excellent value for three courses of local good food. The wine, made by the local cooperative, with grapes from Christianos vines, compliments the meal well. Overall Is there better value anywhere - I doubt it. The pool, the loungers and the view make for a very relaxing day. If you want to go out to explore the Duoro, this is a great base. There are lots of wine/port tasting venues nearby. We took a train from Regua to Pocinho (1.5 hours each way), which gives great views of the Duoro and is only around 13 euros return or 6 if over 65. It sounds a long time, but really was a good trip. (nb there is nothing at Pocinho - get straight back on the train and if you wanted somewhere to stop and eat, try Tua or Pinhao, and get the next train back). D&Y

Very good stay, recommendable, pity the current situation we are in, we cannot enjoy everything that we are allowed in a normal situation. From the Hotel nothing to point out, excellent staff, dinner, good diversified breakfast. Hygiene under the circumstances seemed good to me! A small alert to those who wish to purchase services with TRIP.COM They are excellent to sell, but then to assist the buyer only and simply they do not answer or respond more concretely, they do not exist! For the most part, we enjoyed our stay at Delfim Douro. The setting, view, indoor and outdoor common spaces are quite lovely. The staff were all very friendly. Breakfast had a lot of variety and quality was good. We had dinner at the restaurant one evening and the dishes were bland and prawns were mushy--not good at all. We had a room on the -3 (ground) floor with a patio and two chairs, which was nice. As others have mentioned, the open concept bathroom is terrible. Who likes that? What designer thinks that kind of intimacy is appealing? I missed the comments prior to making the reservation, otherwise we probably would have chosen to stay elsewhere. Also, there were some plug in air ”fresheners” in the hall on our floor that were really atrocious, and we had to hold our noses to and from the elevator. A small thing, but unpleasant. All in all, we liked the hotel, and if they put some doors on the lieu, we would consider staying again.

Hotel de 2 estrelas, mas com a qualidade e serviço de um hotel de 4 estrelas. Boas instalações e bom pequeno almoço. Pessoal muito simpático e profissional. Inclusive tiveram a atenção de selecionar um pequeno almoço adequado às minhas restrições alimentares, sem glútem e sem lactose. Tem piscinas exteriores e boas instalações para a época do Verão. Hotel muito acolhedor e com excelente vista para o rio e lindas paisagens circundantes. Sentimo-nos em casa. Recomendo.

The hotel is beautiful, located in their own vineyard. You can also participate in their own wine tour and wine tasting. Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant are of a high standard. Breakfast is included in the price and dinner is not expensive. Our group of 6 ordered the menu menu with wine pairing, and we were almost full. Two of us lived in a large wine barrel, which was fun but a bit small (especially after seeing other people ’s rooms contrasted), and there was a short walk to get back to the hotel ’s building, so if It is not recommended for children or elderly people.
