Find the Cheap Insua Hotels

We accidentally ended up staying at this fantastic hotel after an invite to a wedding. Thank you Leslie and Antonio! The venue is laid out like a castle with lovely grounds and function spaces away from the elegantly furnished and spacious bedrooms. Located literally in the middle of no where, tranquility can easily be found, even when the wedding is on. The pool area is serene with lots of sun beds, parasols and tables, and rarely crowded. There’s a small babies pool too. Inside, there is the museum style historic rooms easily able to be explored. The restaurant, also currently being used as the bar is lavish and inviting. The food quality exceptional. Right outside the main gate is a small pub/cafe serving very cheap drinks and food with a very local atmosphere. Lots of local beers and wines on offer along with snacks and treats. Seating outside too for relaxing and admiring the hotel from the outside. The best plus on offer is the views, simply stunning and not to be missed, from pretty much each side of the grounds and hotel. Big thank you to the reception chap, who checked us in on 11/08. Very friendly, and helped us with our bags. Breakfast here is expensive but you get a pretty good choice with local cheese and meats and all the usual fare. When departing on your route out, the first Respol fuel station offers the best views a fuel station could provide, perfectly back towards this hotel, perfect views in reverse. Well worth a special stay for a night or two.

The rooms are very quiet There is everything, the breakfast is perfect, but you have to make dinner but you have to book. Officials of an extreme sympathy, no equal. Only the bar, at night, with some disabilities. There is a very beautiful view. If you go to the area, repeat.

Decepção com o pacote romântico Passei um fim de semana no hotel e optei pelo pacote romântico de 2 noites, mas a experiência ficou muito aquém do esperado. Desde o início, algumas informações importantes não foram devidamente esclarecidas, o que gerou frustração. Primeiramente, a piscina tinha um limite de utilização de apenas 45 minutos, algo que não estava informado previamente. Além disso, o acesso ao ginásio não estava incluído no pacote e, para nossa surpresa, era cobrado à parte por um valor exorbitante de 10€. É difícil justificar essa taxa, considerando que até em cidades do norte do país academias de qualidade cobram menos por uma utilização pontual. Quanto às refeições, tanto o jantar do primeiro quanto do segundo dia foram bastante decepcionantes. A comida era simples, sem criatividade ou apresentação que justificassem o preço ou o apelo do pacote romântico. Já o pequeno-almoço, que nos foi proposto como sendo servido no quarto sem custo adicional, acabou gerando uma cobrança de 10€. Além disso, o pedido veio errado, o que foi outro ponto negativo. O único aspecto realmente positivo foram as massagens, que embora agradáveis, duraram apenas 30 minutos. No geral, foi uma experiência abaixo das expectativas, especialmente considerando o valor pago pelo pacote. Não recomendo e certamente não voltaremos.

The building is very nice, right in the centre where most of the historic buildings are. The room was very big and also the bathroom. The staff are nice. The breakfast was very nice. The parking is limited and forget parking close by if it’s full. The blue carpets on the stairs need to be vacuumed as they are very dirty. The black out curtains don't close fully, i had to put my hair clip to keep closed. The biggest issue is they have old windows on the street side so forget going there if you actually want to sleep. They know the windows are bad as they said they have ordered new ones. The issue is the guests don’t know until they are trying to sleep with people screaming under their window. We were there new years eve, impossible to sleep so we asked to move room around 4am, they had another room with better windows so why didn’t they put us there in the 1st place. They said it was a family room but if they know the windows have NO soundproofing, they have to make the effort to make sure guests can sleep even if the room is slightly more expensive. Worst nights sleep ever and that makes everything else worse. The main people making noise were coming out of the hotel building but strange they said they had nothing going on. Ask for a room with double glazing windows or forget sleeping.

The hotel is located in the heart of the city centre, in the heart of the city centre. The coffee is very bad, unforgiving in Portugal and in a establishment of this level.

The Hotel reached the expectations it had, as I already knew the development and maintain the quality of service and facilities. Regarding the price, the value presented by Trip was extremely competitive in relation to the other agencies for the same service conditions, and even in relation to the price that would be charged by the Hotel itself in a direct booking (which I cannot understand...). The breakfast provided was of excellent quality and quantity. The service was excellent, with all employees in service at the hotel in these 2 days of friendliness and efficiency far above average. However, I was a little disappointed that the Trip agency had not yet sent me an Invoice for the amount paid. The only certainty that I have that the payment was made, was given to me by the Hotel receptionist who told me that the rooms were paid for, but that he could not issue me an Invoice as the payment had been made to the Agency - which is natural !). In this situation, the lack of an Invoice was very unpleasant because I booked and paid for 3 rooms (for us and 2 other couples friends) and until now I don't have any proof of payment to ”do the math” with them.
