The rooms are great, super clean, very comfortable beds, but as to the service you have much to desire, I was hosted two nights with my husband and my six-year-old daughter, at the time I made the reservation said I had a evocher, for two The only thing they told me was the breakfast payment. The next day I returned because the receptionist told me that I had to pay the side of the coat and towels, for God's sake, I never saw this at any hotel. As for my daughter's breakfast, which was only one day, because the next day I was shortly in the breakfast room and I went to the official and told her that my six-year-old daughter would not have breakfast. I'm surprised when I'm going to check out they tell me I'm paying two breakfasts, and I said not because my six-year-old daughter had just taken breakfast one day, to what the official I had directed to me to say that my six-year-old daughter would not eat, he told me that I should have informed 24 hours before ...awhich I think it is shameful to be needed because it is not a cup of milk and a little cheese bread to be accounted for at the precedent. This stay in Curia Hotel, was actually in the ir of 2005 i believe. But still in my memories, I remember the grandiosity of the building, the very high floor and the space mixed with stories and te years give you peace just siting, and enjoy the surrenders. Nice services, nice staff, don’t lose de massages options and the restaurant if remember a good experience

The cleaning ladies are very friendly. Carina, who is at the reception, is very friendly and very helpful, in contrast, I only have to point out the staff who were serving breakfast. I asked if I could have a table next to the window, since the tables that were prepared were all on the opposite side, they said yes, that I could take the dishes and take them to the other table. I did so, and sat down at a large table (I had only noticed these tables next to the window). When I went to get food, the two employees, who were always in the middle of the room, told me to use smaller tables. The room was quite empty, and from the number of tables prepared it was obvious that few customers were waiting, who would not use all the tables, as happened. The attitude of these two employees did not sit well with me. They could have taken the trouble to at least indicate the tables they wanted the customer to sit at (at the time I didn't notice the tables because they were on the side). They waited for the customer to change, and, in a law of least effort, they indicated that they had to change tables again. This difference in attitude from the reception to the restaurant makes all the difference in service. Very clean and heated room with regulation. Very silent.

A very modern hotel with many facilities. A little out of the way from town centre but set in a more rural/residential area. Exactly what we needed after the hustle and bustle of downtown Coimbra. Excellent breakfast and superb dinner. Very reasonable price for the type of hotel it turned out to be.

A surprise, in the center of Anadia, educated and very sympathetic staff. The room and the bathroom are great and comfortable. We have everything that is necessary for breakfast and I would say that even more than normal for a 3-star hotel. The internet works well and has a parking park, they have only one electric car loader.

We had heard great things about hiking in the Bussaco forest so added an evening in Luso to our Portugal trip. We spent the evening at the Alegre Hotel. As others have written, it is an old world family run hotel 18 room hotel. It very much reminded me of places I have stayed in rural France. Everything about the hotel needs to be viewed in the context of what it is. The keys are old style heavy brass, the parlor spaces are rather dark with period furniture, the breakfast room walls are populated by a plethora of ticking clocks that only vaguely keep time, the rooms are high ceilinged, there is no air conditioning and heat in our room on a chilly evening was provided by an electric “wood stove” in the fireplace. All that being said, the bed was warm and comfortable, the bathroom pretty modern and clean, the view over the town from our balcony fantastic, the breakfast very good and the breakfast server very friendly. We left in the morning feeling that we had spent a pleasant evening in another era.

Very quiet hotel. Despite the magnificent building, all the staff are very close to the guests and care about their happiness. This time I stayed in a superior room with large windows. The area and direct light of the toilet are all you like. The restaurant offers a balanced buffet, exquisite breakfast and everything you want. Restaurant service and decent breakfast. The reception staff have excellent professionalism and a very friendly attitude. I recommend

Hotel familiar, num edifício de arquitetura do início dos anos 20 do século passado, a dois passos das famosas termas do Luso. Quartos espaços e camas super cómoda, com vista deslumbrante para a serra do Bussaco. Tudo super limpo e arrumado, aliás, como todos os espaços. O generoso buffet, com receitas assentes na cozinha do baixo Vouga, oferece variedade entre peixe da costa de Aveiro, e as carnes da Mealhada. O pátio emoldurado por nogueiras centenárias, dá acesso à piscina, para uns belos banhos de sol, com o cheiro puro do campo e da serra ali ao lado. Claro que não podia falta a experiência do spa termal, a visita ao parque da vila, e claro ao parque ecológico do Bussaco e à Quinta da Lágrimas. Ótimo lugar para umas repousantes férias em família!
